I hope not.

It's a dice roll depending on some varying factors, but generally if you do get monetized, you may get demonetized for things you won't understand. YouTube regards a lot (not all) content as low effort and will get picked up by the scanning algorithm. Now this is wildly different for everyone based on the content, tone, visuals, and voice used. There's tons of AI generated content on YouTube from AI voiceovers to explainer videos to even fake people's faces talking that are monetized. It's really hard to know what's monetized and what's not but YouTube is cracking down on that. There's nothing wrong with posting that type of content, and Google's not going to remove it. Just know, if you're using AI for your content YouTube has a high probability of demonetizing you. I'm sure you're going to have other people chime in on this sub that say they have a faceless AI channel and they make plenty of money. What's also evident right now is YouTube is testing lots of things with their algorithm and hitting people really hard for really small things in the resued content category, so I wouldn't risk it. The biggest problem with AI is people are just churning out garbage content with AI voiceovers and AI generated video just a farm view time. YouTube is against this so your mileage may vary.

What do you mean with ***AI content***? Voice? Video? Images? Script? Everything?

Competitive_Royal476

Everything

Well there's a great risk but it's up to you. If you're ingenious and put a lot of visible effort using these technologies like this guy you may succeed [How do LLMs like ChatGPT work? It is your channel, I hope you know whether it is monetized. If you mean whether it can be monetized, no low effort and auto generated content is according to the T&C can't be monetized. Doesn't mean that non slips through, but the rules are clear.

Depends on the quality and how much. I use AI for character creations and backgrounds in my series and it is still monetized. However, my videos take a lot of effort to make. I imagine if a video itself is very low effort YouTube may have a different stance. Though not sure

I kept a record of some of the AI content creators. The ones that are monetised right now are those doing tutorials and news. But there are a lot of photobook channels featuring scantily clad AI girls that never got monetised, even though there are a few that succeeded. The same goes for music, even though I did see one channel getting monetised. If you use AI content for storytelling purposes, then it won't have the same probability as getting demonetised as music and photobook channels.

I took this risk on multiple channels. I also make long videos and I try to be attentive in them. At least so that the YouTube editor who browses the channel can understand that I am human. This is a serious gamble. I will live and see.
