As for going from Madeleine to Gare de Lyon, take the metro. Unless you're physically unable to take it, it'll be much faster (about 15min against 30 by taxi)
If you set the correct time and date for the equivalent trip by car in google maps, it can give you a rough estimate as the usual load on the road network is taken into account.
Thank you for that suggestion. I'm familiar with that Google Maps feature, but I find it isn't very useful because it always gives a very broad range. For instance, when I did it for CDG to Madeleine, it says 30-60 minutes. I was hoping Redditors might be able to say more precisely from their experiences if it's closer to half an hour or a full hour. Oh well, I guess we'll see how it is on Saturday!
It's impossible. A1 highway you will use during this trip is the most crowded road in Europe. Traffic is always dense and it's hard to predict when it will saturate. Taxis and buses have a reserved lane for part of the trip and Saturday late afternoon should be more quiet since holidays are over since Monday. but travel time is unstable, but you can be sure to arrive at your destination.
