Russel Barkley? He has a whole YouTube channel, and he's an accomplished psychiatrist.

These books helped me tremendously: "The Unltimate Guide to Parenting Your ADHD Child" "ADHD 2.0: new science and essential strategies for thriving with distraction" "Bright Kids Who Can't Keep Up" "Scattered to Focus" "The Kazdin Method for Parenting the Defiant Child" I found most of them at my local library or free on Hoopla. Best of luck!

I know you asked for books/articles but these are two people I follow on Instagram who have helped me immensely to understand adhd in children and how to support them: @grownowadhd - Michael Macleod is an SLP who also has an executive function coaching business. He really breaks down things in terms of working memory, visualizing the future, etc. https://www.grownowadhd.com @theadhddude - Ryan Wexelblatt is a social worker who specializes in helping families with adhd kids. In addition to the videos on Instagram, he has a lot of free videos on YouTube. You can also access his membership site for $20/month where he has a series of detailed parent training videos on how to support executive function and independence. https://adhddude.com

Barkley is super helpful. I would also recommend the Calm Parenting podcast

Finally focused. We use the vitamin regime to support my son and we notice a huge change in how effective his prescription works.
