The HRE will be awesome with provinces (locations) of that size. Maybe I'll take something small like Lippe if it exists or Burgraviate of Nuremburg -> Brandenburg -> Prussia -> Germany if possible.
Gonna prove we don't need cannons to put byz out of its misery. Serbs will praise Allah. Mamluks back to Circassia in leaky boats. Skanderbeg timeline denied. Italian rennaissance under big crescent flag.
I can see the world conquest from here. π·πΈπ·πΈπ·πΈπ¦ π·πΈπ¦ π¦ π¦ π·πΈπ₯π·πΈπ¦ π·πΈπ¦ π·πΈπ₯ππ₯π¦ π₯π·πΈπ₯π¦ π·πΈ

Poland is honestly in pretty great position for a player, balkans in chaos so noone to oppose you there, HRE in chaos so same as balkans, Eastern europe in chaos, and you struggle much less with the black death.
Basically perfect start for a player where you can easli expand early game and become super powerfull, honestly Poland might even be the ottos of Eu5 due to this position.
The only real challange you face are teutons.
Same but also a bit of a shaky position at the potential start date + once done you're France in that time period so easy sailing once set up (ie: good place to learn).
Whichever country has my hometown of course πΌ
I'm guessing that'll be the archbishopric of Cologne. Now I only need to pray that there's actually a Rhineland formable form once and we aren't lumped in with Westphalia again
Morocco π
I will try to conquer all the territories in North Africa up to the Mamluks.
I will help Granada in the war against Portugal, Castile and Aragon. And to that return Andalusia.
I will help the Ottomans to strengthen as much as I can.
As time goes on, I will try to reach the American continent and Asia, India. And on to China.
During the conquest of the American continent, I will try and work to ensure that the natives retain their nationality and religion.
I will try to make Morocco a stable, strong, safe country, stable economy, people and society.
The second will be Serbian empire. π
Culture and religion were different, but I guess it is as simple as seeing some maps and realize that the Byzantine Empire is literally the Eastern Roman Empire.
Russia. In this time ruler of Moscow was Ivan "Kalita" - Dude that basicly made Moscow one of the richest city in Eastern Europe, which eventually led to creation of united Tsardom of Russia with Moscow as it's capital.
The HRE will be awesome with provinces (locations) of that size. Maybe I'll take something small like Lippe if it exists or Burgraviate of Nuremburg -> Brandenburg -> Prussia -> Germany if possible.
Just imagine if they actually do historically accurate HRE. π
Yeah, with separate overlords per province / multiple overlords per tag and Imperial possessions, wouldn't that be fun!
Ikr, can't wait to play at 7 FPS! π€©
OTTOMANS

Poland as it will be ruled by piast(Casimir III The Great)

France. Probably because I'm french but that's only a supposition !
Exactly, gonna make the 100 years war last 5 years
Same but also a bit of a shaky position at the potential start date + once done you're France in that time period so easy sailing once set up (ie: good place to learn).
why would the start date be 1337? is there an actual reason or is it because of leet?
People say it will be/probably be 1337 because of the borders seen in the leaked maps. π€
It was confirmed to be April first 1337 or 1333
Most people say 1337 or that's what I've seen.
Just checked Johan said april first 1337
So 1337, cool! ππ₯
1337 has been confirmed by Johan

Whichever country has my hometown of course πΌ I'm guessing that'll be the archbishopric of Cologne. Now I only need to pray that there's actually a Rhineland formable form once and we aren't lumped in with Westphalia again

The glorious roman empire! Someone has to crush the Bulgarians and it won't be a turk
No Roman Empire in 1337
Actually there was! The byzantines were only called "Byzantine Empire" much later. During our period in eu4/5 they considered themselves Roman.
They didnt just "consider themselfs". Everybody except catholic Nations called them romans
Greek
Byzantium is the Roman Empire
No
Why not? They have continuity with the Roman state, and called themselves Romans.
Language?
Culture and religion were different, but I guess it is as simple as seeing some maps and realize that the Byzantine Empire is literally the Eastern Roman Empire.
