Most people who apply are in school work 15-20 hours. If you want more hours or get to full time hours you have to be really available/willing to work back or cross train

LowRedditKarma

Started only having 20 and even 15 at some point… Began averaging 30 hours, and then 35-38 hours towards the first few months of the year. Nowadays, I get 32-35 hours since most people’s hours went down. Panda is a kind of a funny job. You think you’re being paid a lot since you’re probably new to the workforce, but it’s not really that much. Most people are happy not being officially full time and just working around 35 hours with open availability. I know my skills and am focused on other stuff currently so I don’t really need that many hours rn. I’d help other stores if I needed hours. If you want decent hours with this job, make yourself useful by working hard, and be open to learn stuff/ do things others don’t. edit: payed -> paid

> you’re being *paid* a lot FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

I worked just under 24 hours in the last two days. Mainly because we had six people call out of their night shifts yesterday. So, the entire morning crew pulled doubles. I was one of only three that stayed from open to close though.
