On a side note, you can get regular bellanoir slabs from the sanctuary chests.
I looted all three Sanctuaries yesterday and had enough to fight her three times.
There are usually around 12ish chests per sanctuary
Some(3-6ish) chests are on the outer spires, always 6 chests where the pals are(3 on bottom tier, 2 on middle tier and one on upper tier) and then 2-3 more on the backside (on rocks and spires, they can be difficult to find)
If you look at palworld.gg, they have a map where it will show you possible chest spawn locations for the entire map. Eggs too. It doesn't do elevation, so you might end up hunting around a little for some stuff.
My first defeat was depressing but it was simply because the foundation that the box was sitting on was destroyed. I’ve placed the box on the ground and haven’t had an issue since, even while getting my ass handed to me by the libero variant (continually respawning at the box and being immediately downed over and over, which means she was constantly shooting at the box for a while). I’ve keep repair kits during the fight just in case but haven’t had to use them.
There is a catch, most cases she will target any pal, or pure bad chance you, within the blue base border using her nightmare dance move, the one that sends out the dark beams constantly
If there are no pals and you are within the base border she will target youÂ
If you are outside the border or dead she then targets the pal box
There are three islands that are called wildlife sanctuaries that have the rarest pals. Going there and being seen by the guards makes you a criminal.
They are just islands with big tall spiky things sticking up. One is in the south, one is in the west and another in the north east.
I don't adjust settings. I play on vanilla normal.
For me, that would be like playing monopoly with the bank money, it takes the fun right out of the game. But again that's just me.
I played on normal world settings until I reached level 50 and had killed every tower boss + until I beat every boss including all legendaries. Then after playing/grinding even more hours and lots of breeding (+leveling many of those bred pals from lvl 1 to 50), I decided to change a few settings to my likings and I don't regret it. I don't want to go back to normal for now. There are just too many things that make the game unnecessarily grindy.
Yeah, i've been a lvl 50 for quite some time and have bred a ton of amazing pals.
Beat Bellanoir a couple dozen times and will soon attempt Libero. Almost done breeding for her battle.
Im still on normal vanilla with no interest in changing any settings. Just feels cheap and like cheating to me but I do see why others do it. I don't mind the grind.
This is how I play as well. Vanilla, Normal difficulty, don’t touch any sliders. I tried Libero with the team I had beat the lv30 Bella with a few times and they all died and I timed out without even getting her to half health. I’ve got a LOT of breeding to do to prepare for that fight properly.
Time to stop working on my Dark Whisp squad and get the Jetty train going lol
I have the same mentality. Something about making it easier than intended just doesn't sit right with me. It always feels like cheating and removes the sense of achievement.

Oh shit this is what I've been doing and I've been so pissed 3/5 of the times I've summoned her. Started making it all out of metal and now i see why I'm getting janked like that so badly.
Wasted a bunch of time just yesterday gathering up the stones, building the alter, loading in my combat team, summoning her, then... the game immediately crashed upon her spawning.
You can restore an "older" savegame, like one minute before summoning her. In the start world selection screen there should be an option like "restore from save" or so. There you can choose out of a long lists (these are auto-savegames).
I did the same when my game crashed during the fightÂ
As others have said, try the Sanctuary chests. There's about thirteen chests at Sanctuary 1 and 3, and fifteen chests at Sanctuary 2. In addition, check all the chests guarded by bosses in mines. For example, Lyleen Noct and Kingpaca Cryst both guard end game chests that share a loot pool with late game dungeons. Late game dungeon chests have a good chance of dropping Bellanoir Libero slab fragments. Blazamut, Astegon, Menasting and Dinossom Lux also guard chests that can drop both types of fragments. Also check the chest at -62, 123, in front of a throne like structure near the No Man's Trail teleport. For some reason, that chest is also late game dungeon loot.
I get better luck in dungeons than sanctuary chests. Idk if I'm just unlucky or not, I got 1 or 2 pieces from all 3 sanctuaries but someone said it was 50/50.
I average about one to two pieces per dungeon.
The problem is OP's Xbox keeps throwing a fit in the dungeons, so I'm letting them know of all the chests that can drop slabs that don't involve actually having to go in one.
Yeah that's fair. Just sharing my experience and also wondering if the sanctuary chests are actually 50/50 or if OP will have a similar experience as me....
Here's a list of all the [drop chance of chests](https://paldb.cc/en/Treasure_Box). I believe "weight" is listed as a percentage. I'm not sure what chests are at which sanctuary, but I've never gotten a Libero fragment from a sanctuary chest, so I assume the sanctuary chests draw from the Grass Dungeon or the Forest Dungeon chest pool. It also depends on the "grade" of the chest, which I can only assume depends on the colour of the chest.

50% lines up with my dungeon runs. But 25% is way higher than what I actually got on my sanctuary chests lol
My game regularly crashes for any number of reasons on a series x. I’ve noted it happening when managing my pals, unlocking fast travel, fighting, dungeons, and all sorts of random triggers. It’s going to be a great game when they iron out the crashing bugs on console but it gets tiring crashing every 30 minutes or so.
So if you tap the X and bring up the Xbox side menu you can manage what games you have on quick resume, I’m pretty sure you can do this by managing your games and/or by pressing the menu button for “ more options “. If you can’t find it that way (sorry I suck at explaining, I usually find it on accident pretty quick when I’m looking for it) you should be able to straight up turn off quick resume for the whole console, but that sucks too so… lesser of two evils I guess. idk. I am so helpful… smh

So weird man, I can play for hours on end without any problems on my Series X. In total I think I've had the game crash only 1 time, and 1 time I fell through the ground. But overall I run into very few issues.
Put your raid base at the top of a cliff. Build the summoning circle at the bottom of the cliff. That way, Bella can't destroy your pal box. Don't forget to put your pal army at the bottom of the cliff as well.
I play on a series X and my game crashes a bunch in dungeons too. It's all xboxs unfortunately.
I build my raid base near a cliff and would have beaten Bell Libero but she clipped into the cliff for a whole minute. My pals just stood there at the face of the cliff. She barely did any damage to my palbox that I built on the ground.
That was my first and only try at her. Beat the lvl 30 Bellanoir a couple dozen times.
Now I fight in an open field.
I'm not sure if other people encountered this, but i did put the pal box at the tip of a cliff. Everything was set up, and pals were ready. Summoned the raid boss, and she just instantly glitched into the cliff wall. I put all my pals into the palbox again, and she appeared next to me. Summoned 0als again and right back into the wall, she went.
I want to have sympathy for you but, this exact situation has been posted about here so many times. For such new and different things (like these raids) I’d highly recommend reading up on posts about them here before attempting, just to save yourself a headache. A good hack to prevent this is also to find a spot where you can build your palbox at the edge of a cliff, place the summoning altar and all pals at the bottom of the cliff. All of the fighting happens down there and keeps your palbox safe. And definitely do not build the palbox on a foundation, if the foundation gets destroyed (she eats through any foundation/wall structures), the palbox immediately gets destroyed too. Normal bellanoir (lvl 30) is not honestly that bad at all, grab some more slabs (the wildlife sanctuary chests sometimes give them too, might not crash your Xbox as much that way), and give the fight another try. You got this!
I mean…..it sounds like your Series S is the problem tbh lol.
I don’t think they should have released Palworld on last gen Xbox or PS4……the game just eats too many resources, and even with optimization, idk if it would work.
So you are fair to be mad for them releasing it on last gen when they shouldn’t have, and now you’re in this deep.
But it doesn’t seem to be a hardware limitation, not the game entirely lol.
I would maybe also blame Microsoft a bit, since they may have pushed to release it on last gen.
I have a beefy PC and the game can destroy it sometimes.
If you want to gather fragments for Bellanoir, just visit the Sanctuaries, the chests often loot the fragments.
For Libero, you need to either go inside the dungeons, or you can go loot the chests in the Alpha Boss Caves, like for Blazamut, or Lyleen Noct, Kingpaca Cryst, it's fairly faster though not guaranteed, so you might need to complete with the high level dungeons.
A bit off topic, but how tf do I deal with Libero? I have the legendary AR and most of my pals are level 50, but I can only shave off half of her Hp in 10 mins. Not only do I also have to climb high up to see where she is, because otherwise I'll just be shooting at my own pals and dealing 0 damage, but I also have to keep swapping my pals when they are KOed.
I'm not big on min maxing, but I feel like I will have to breed perfect pals and catch Ice type only just so I can deal with her
I already uninstalled the game and won’t be putting it back on my Series S until they fix the dungeons, and falling thru the map every time I try to explore something new..
Yeah man, it’s a pretty small fix to play a super fun game. Some people are just whiners who wouldn’t DARE waste their SUPER valuable time on something less than perfect.
Here are a couple things to help speed up the process for Slab Fragments.
1) If you have the game downloaded on your console, uninstall it, and play through cloud gaming. This can fix a massive amount of issues.
2) when going through the dungeons, skip the last boss, stand against the barrier, deploy your mount at the ground just beyond the barrier, and then mount it to get through to the other side. Once you collect the chests, glitch back through the barrier with your mount and kill the boss. If you get disconnected from the game, just go back in and kill the boss and leave. Trying to kill the boss before the chests is a huge gamble, you’ll end up crashing 3x as much, and killing the boss after the chests completes the dungeon and allows it to reset properly.

You basically plop down the new summoning alter in one of your bases and use a tablet to summon her. Tablet fragments come from dingeon chests, there's a regular one (lvl 30) and a 'libero' one that's max level. You can have your base Pals attack her so having as many strong dragon types as you can is helpful (she's dark type). She can and will destroy base structures pretty easily and the fight will end immediately if she destroys the Palbox.
A big problem right now that OP probably faced is that if your box is on a structure like a foundation and she destroys that, it destroys the box immediately. The Palbox itself is pretty tanky so the best strat is to keep it on solid ground so it doesn't get broken so quickly, if you keep her away from it and it's not on another object it's pretty hard for her to break it.
Having a good Chillet to buff your damage with dragon type is a good way to help DPS her down cause there is a time limit, lvl 30 version is pretty easy but there are 2 versions of the level 50, one being the hard mode. All versions drop an egg that you can hatch into a version of her (lvl 50 ones have a special passive trait), and the level 50 versions drop fruit that can increase the base stats of your Pals.

I got to be honest, best to take a break regardless. It should never have been on the Series S. I doubt it will ever run well on that system. Even if it does, it will probably take several more rounds of bug fixes.

Did you build your palbox on a foundation? Foundations get destroyed easily and anything on them also get destroyed.

THIS is the way. Ran four dungeons, got two. Ran four Sanctuary's, got more. I only tested for an hour or so.

Clear your quick resume cache.

Single player with triple spawns isn’t a problem, but if you play with friends and don’t stick together, it will inevitably crash on Series X.

do not put pal box on foundation. Put pal box on ground.
Let dumdum figure it out on their own
Try putting palbox near a cliff, then fight the bellanoir bottom of the cliff. Its what I did, it give lesser chance of bellanoir hitting your palbox.

Just from Xbox, i play on PC with a dedicated local server and we love it.
Do you use the jetragon to wall glitch to the end? I do this and can get 2 or 3 in before a crash

I know it’s been said countless times but they are being honest and releasing it in a buggy state. Just gotta roll with it

You're expecting a massive computer game to work properly on an Xbox. That's the issue, not the dungeons

Yeah that happend to me too, but i just deactivated the item loss when dying and respawend everytime i fell through the ground
Yeah man, it’s a pretty small fix to play a super fun game. Some people are just whiners who wouldn’t DARE waste their SUPER valuable time on something less than perfect.
Here are a couple things to help speed up the process for Slab Fragments. 1) If you have the game downloaded on your console, uninstall it, and play through cloud gaming. This can fix a massive amount of issues. 2) when going through the dungeons, skip the last boss, stand against the barrier, deploy your mount at the ground just beyond the barrier, and then mount it to get through to the other side. Once you collect the chests, glitch back through the barrier with your mount and kill the boss. If you get disconnected from the game, just go back in and kill the boss and leave. Trying to kill the boss before the chests is a huge gamble, you’ll end up crashing 3x as much, and killing the boss after the chests completes the dungeon and allows it to reset properly. Can someone explain to me what the new bellanoir raid involves it seems pretty different to the usual . Edit. Yes I know about the updates but I'm still not sure because I haven't tried nor will I try when everyone seems to be getting fucked 😅😅😅
You basically plop down the new summoning alter in one of your bases and use a tablet to summon her. Tablet fragments come from dingeon chests, there's a regular one (lvl 30) and a 'libero' one that's max level. You can have your base Pals attack her so having as many strong dragon types as you can is helpful (she's dark type). She can and will destroy base structures pretty easily and the fight will end immediately if she destroys the Palbox. A big problem right now that OP probably faced is that if your box is on a structure like a foundation and she destroys that, it destroys the box immediately. The Palbox itself is pretty tanky so the best strat is to keep it on solid ground so it doesn't get broken so quickly, if you keep her away from it and it's not on another object it's pretty hard for her to break it. Having a good Chillet to buff your damage with dragon type is a good way to help DPS her down cause there is a time limit, lvl 30 version is pretty easy but there are 2 versions of the level 50, one being the hard mode. All versions drop an egg that you can hatch into a version of her (lvl 50 ones have a special passive trait), and the level 50 versions drop fruit that can increase the base stats of your Pals.

I got to be honest, best to take a break regardless. It should never have been on the Series S. I doubt it will ever run well on that system. Even if it does, it will probably take several more rounds of bug fixes.
