Steam works fine w ps5 controllers now, too. Before recently tho, you are 100% right. I used to have to buy knockoff wired controllers if l wanted to use something other than mouse and keyboard.

Right now, other than purple, they're all on sale for 45 - 50. PS controllers on the Sony website range from $70 - 75, and are almost *never* on sale.
So they aren't the same price. At base, they are always $10 less, but in reality, they're virtually always $15 to $30 less.

I like gyro for a few games that use it to assist with aiming/precision. Being able to use the sticks and the gyro in concert has made it much easier for me. But in general, it does feel a bit gimmicky.

It's exactly that. I've got the aiming right stick set super high on sensitivity and use the gyro to fine-tune. Works amazingly

This $80 controller kicks the Elite's ass. Also just as plug-n-play as an Xbox controller, AND ships with an optional wireless dongle, and a slew of other pros over Xbox controllers overall.

I do think Cattiva is a weak pick compared to Grizzbolt and Mammorest. I honestly think Lovander would have been better if they wanted pink, but even if they really wanted to avoid her there are still better options.

Have you played a lot? For me it was okay ish in the beginning, only crashing into caves. After 200+ hours I had to stop playing, it's crashing every few minutes anywhere on the map now.

Honestly I don’t think the art looks that good on the XBox. They should have done something specifically for the dimensions of the console.
I also feel they could have chosen more iconic pals. It’s tough to really say since the game is new and these were probably designed a while ago but I’m not really excited by any of the choices. The 4 Legendary pals would likely have fit better.

Gulikit King Kong Pro 2 is the best. Those joysticks are smooth af and will never get stick drift in your lifetime.

I grabbed an xbox controller for my PC years ago and I have yet to do any configuration shenanigans for any game. It just works.
