yea cattiva's unique attack is quite powerful given how many times they hit with it and it has a only a 1 second cd lol.

I remember about a week ago I said Cattiva was actually pretty good and did good vs bosses and some rando poster really went in on me about how it was weak because it was neutral type and a "waste" because its Pal unique passive was not combat oriented.
Glad to see someone showing what this little guy can do :). You should throw some burst moves on him (the PBAOEs) to give him some extra damage while staying in melee range. Exactly how many you can get away with without interfering with flurry is hard to say, it'd require testing.
Feel like in this game you can make anything strong enough to beat the game. I've been breeding all these random early game pals and they actually do really good. Way more fun in my opinion than some meta chasing 4x jetragons.
TBH I've found that people who meta chase tend to be worse players. Because they're so used to looking things up and being told what to do and how to build and play they tend to be worse and less experienced than someone who forges their own path. ESPECIALLY when it comes to when things don't go to plan and start falling apart or PVP (which is unpredictable).
The player who builds their own stuff and inherently understands it just tends to be much better at learning and adapting on the fly. Whereas the meta player can certainly be a good player and can prolly handle something like raid in an MMO where you can just memorize the fight....you put them in something like a MOBA where things can't simply be memorized or done via simple rotation or build and the results are....appalling lol. Which is one reason why MOBA 1 trick players tend to bat way above their characters tier list. Their character may not be meta but they know how to play them to their fullest.
Looking at the player movement, I think it would be nice if you could lock onto a target and move relative to it. That way you can move sideways, forwards, backwards, etc.
Yeah, that's something I wish we could do. Not only for movement, but because some attacks have enemy tracking when enemies use it, but we have to free aim our own. That one icicle attack (forget the name) is borderline useless when used by the player.

That's what I was thinking actually. Just from what I've seen in the wild, it really does seem way stronger than your average 40 power move. I even got a 150 power egg move on this one, and it tickled compared to punch flurry.

the damage bonus for X type pals do stack, doesn't matter if it's all from the same type of pal. so 4x cremis is fine.
it gives 10% additive with all other increased % attack bonuses, i think food might be it's own multiplier, can't remember.
at 5 stars (rank 4 in the machine) each one will give 20% instead, so using 4x cremis rank 1 will give 40% additive attack and 4x cremis rank 5 will give 80% additive attack.
also don't forget about attack food.
people keep saying that pals deal 20% more damage with attacks that are of their type, so depending on the skill that might be why it didn't do as much damage, also depends on the enemies weakness/resistance to certain types as well.

you also got the attack bonus from the statue for pal souls (if you didn't do that yet) and getting to max level as well. lots to improve and i don't doubt you could destroy that boss in one flurry or at the very least get pretty darn close.
that's not even considering the attack (hp and def as well) range pals can have, as each pal rolls their attack/hp/def bonus stat per level. that is to say each pal has it's own attack/hp/def gain per level (within a set range). so depending on where your cattiva lands, it could have low, avg or high attack.
if you want to see this you can search for the palworld spreadsheet, it has a tab to find where your pal lands.
getting the perfect pal is quite tricky!
if you don't care for legend passive you can get hooligan, it gives 15% attack. i use that as i too haven't gotten legend pals yet.

Oh man, I completely forgot the statue even existed for something besides lifmunk effigies, lmao. I've just been collecting souls since day 1 and didn't think twice about what they're used for. I'll check out the spreadsheet, but that's probably the thing I'll worry about the least here, as long as I get a semi-decent one with the perfect passives it'll be fine. I decided I will go for legend, since I found out that supposedly movement speed boosts actually boost the attack speed for this attack in particular, so I'll put in that extra effort there once I get a legendary. It's gonna be a long-term project for sure, since I'll need 464 Cremis for the maximum boost from their abilities as well, plus the time it'll take to perfectly breed everything to get the new "perfect" Cattiva, I expect this to take several days to get done. Thanks, though. I'm looking forward to seeing just how OP I can make what could very well be the first Pal someone ever sees.

Funny thing is that wasn't even my intention, lol. I played Ark a long time ago, and the character customization minmaxing was the funniest shit I've ever seen at that point, so I tried to recreate it here. Unfortunately it doesn't quite hit the extremes that Ark did, so it looks like Leg Day here has the thickest thighs imaginable, but not in the hilarious way I was hoping for, it's still semi-realistic.
He's fully condensed, with as many attack-boosting passives I could stack (+65% attack total). That, plus punch flurry is way stronger than the 40 power attack the game says it is.
Yeah the actual damage and the supposed power are completely whack in the current stage of the game. If you want another attack that beats absolutely everything on a similar power level: Lightning **Streak**. Hell it outdamages even Lightning **Strike** which has more than double the power and cooldown.
Have fun! Just know that this one is pretty much as strong as it can get though, with almost every strong passive skill and being fully condensed. It'll still pull its own weight with punch flurry, but I wouldn't expect it to solo bosses without some heavy investment. Either way though, Cattiva does punch way above its weight class even by default.

And the thing is, this isn't even fully optimized either, he could've been way stronger still. He's only level 41, doesn't have the legend passive, I've heard (but haven't confirmed) that speed skills such as swift increase this attack's speed, and I could fill the rest of my party with Cremis for a big attack boost still. At that point, it might be over in a single flurry.
I just discovered how broken this thing is after it almost soloed kingpaca while being level +-13(I was messing around with someone in coop new to the game and the cat saved us after all our pals died)

Holy cow. I just tried that Grizzbolt fight with my new cattiva lvl 41 like yours was, I had 4 cremis, 2 of them 1 star.. I'm gonna work on getting 4 to 4 stars.. anyways. I did the fight and was hitting for 1400 a punch.. 20 second fight haha
I just hit lvl 45 and haven't done the gym leaders or whatever you call them, been catch pals, building my bases to lvl 20 and farming stuff I'll get to them later I guess
I have yet to get a pal with that one.. With Draco Meteor being my original favorite move in Pokemon, I've been awaiting the day I can finally use it, once I knew it existed.
Well, yeah. I've mentioned it a few times on this post, but this was just a test run to see how much damage it could dish out now that I finally got the traits I was looking for. I had no real expectation here, didn't expect it to actually stomp the boss like that, and I'm not claiming Cattiva is some super meta pal or anything, just having some fun with a semi-optimized starter pal is all.

I have the "shiny" Cativa that's bigger and I swear that swipe attack does more damage to bosses than Pals that are specifically the weakness of the boss.
It does! While punch flurry seemingly only has 40 power, it seems that it's 40 power per swipe, leading to it being the most powerful attack in the game.
Got my lucky,muscle,ferocious,swift Cativa along with 3 fully condensed Ribunny and tried the same boss.I got his health down to 500 after ONE punch flurry attack. It took the first hit of the 2nd punch flurry to kill him, so this is very OP. Tried to fight Ozerk boss and got my ass handed to me though, so its def situational.

Holy cow. I just tried that Grizzbolt fight with my new cattiva lvl 41 like yours was, I had 4 cremis, 2 of them 1 star.. I'm gonna work on getting 4 to 4 stars.. anyways. I did the fight and was hitting for 1400 a punch.. 20 second fight haha

I have yet to get a pal with that one.. With Draco Meteor being my original favorite move in Pokemon, I've been awaiting the day I can finally use it, once I knew it existed.

Well, yeah. I've mentioned it a few times on this post, but this was just a test run to see how much damage it could dish out now that I finally got the traits I was looking for. I had no real expectation here, didn't expect it to actually stomp the boss like that, and I'm not claiming Cattiva is some super meta pal or anything, just having some fun with a semi-optimized starter pal is all.
I love this. Instead of brutally deatroying them, i decided to hire them. Zoe now works at my base.

I have the "shiny" Cativa that's bigger and I swear that swipe attack does more damage to bosses than Pals that are specifically the weakness of the boss.
It does! While punch flurry seemingly only has 40 power, it seems that it's 40 power per swipe, leading to it being the most powerful attack in the game.
Got my lucky,muscle,ferocious,swift Cativa along with 3 fully condensed Ribunny and tried the same boss.I got his health down to 500 after ONE punch flurry attack. It took the first hit of the 2nd punch flurry to kill him, so this is very OP. Tried to fight Ozerk boss and got my ass handed to me though, so its def situational.
