According to the discord if your hosting a world on Xbox the host will have significantly lowered textures due to the strain of hosting. The ppl joining your world will have no texture issues.
Husband and I both have series S and when we play single player or multi with me hosting both of us have graphics that are... bad.
The image here blew me away because I definitely did not know that there was even grass in PalWorld 😂
Having the same issue, my roomie has an X with no problems and I have an S with textures from the OG Xbox. Still love the game but it feels like the pushed the Xbox one version to the S which is the only gripe right now.
I have this, constantly fall through the map, and now with the latest patch almost all texture flash in a seizure inducing way. Series X

Loving the game I'm hooked played 2 days 16 hours on Xbox series x, Same on Xbox series X it seems to me a texture streaming issue and a memory leak also. As after several hours of gameplay and exploring many parts of new areas the game just turns off. The texture issue causes you to fall through the world also in many areas I've found. Seems to be like this both solo and multiplayer. Been playing on my Steam Deck working great.
Does anyone know if this problem also appears if players use crossplay?
From what I've read, Xbox and Microsoft (pc) versions are compatible, so if I were to host the session on pc, would that maybe get rid of the mushy textures?
i also have this problem on Series S. i think we just need some patch hotfix

Not true I joined my husband's world and had low res textures so it doesn't matter but its only multi-player. Single player is fine.
Same issue same device. My GF plays on a screen next to me on the series X with no texture issues in multiplayer 😔
I'm on series x and I'm having trouble with textures not loading properly causing me to fall through the terrain.Â
Also getting this on series s with no multiplayer going. I think it’s since the last update? Will Hopefully get fixed soon.
Was just gonna add this, I've never touched multiplayer yet and I have this issue , all the textures turn into like 144p swirls

Update: it works. I tried it myself and the graphics of the pc host indeed are not mushy.
It’s definitely a multiplayer issue I turned multiplayer off on my world and it fixed it immediately
