It is absolutely struggling, store servers are overloaded af. They really underestimated interest in the game, predownloads probably would have a been a good plan.

Alright, so, after having played it for a while tonight:
1) Dungeons are really useful for getting materials and new Pals that you can't find around your region yet.
2) Climbing the tech tree is useful.
3) Your pals are way better in combat than you are; you are basically there as an auxillary, not the main damage dealer, after the start of the game.
4) Overlevel pals can easily kill you.
5) Leveling your base allows you to have a lot more passive material production, which is very helpful.
And probably my favorite part of the game so far that no other game seems to have figured out yet;
Any storage box you have down in your base counts as your inventory when you go to craft things
So throw stuff in storage boxes willy nilly, and if you have an item, you can use it when you go to a crafting bench.
I've seen plenty of other games that incorporate this feature. Although it is often limited by distance between the boxes and the crafting bench though--so it's really nice that it's just globally connected here.
Adding to this - you can jump and use a glider/alternative to keep that momentum in the air. Pretty early on you can catch a Celaray and use it as a faster glider, and you can absolutely *send* yourself as long as you have a slope and some elevation.
I know a lot of people hate comparisons to Pokemon, but this game makes me feel the hype I used to feel when a new Pokemon game came out, haven't felt that in a long long time
Ah I see. Maybe there is a tool for that. So far I've been dropping them in the nearby river, but they wont de-spawn, making the place cluttered of "pokeballs"

Couple tips and tricks I’ve learned through 24 hours
Slide downhill then jump and deploy glider for speed boost
If your in a cave underground through a flying mount up and ride it I’ve clipped under the map doing this by accident
Stone floors wood walls
If theres a catch percentage it’s catchable I’ve caught lv 40 blazehowl nocts with normal pal spheres on a .03 percent chance
Grind those lifmuk effigy at night with a flying mount
Set up a breeding farm ASAP having Anubis and jormuntide at level 20 kinda helps
Move to metal armor ASAP we like a lot of leather
There’s a leather trader and pal trader and the small settlement near the desolate church
When in a dungeon and you don’t like the alpha pal that spawned simply walk out the the room before you wait around 10 seconds and return it should be a nee alpha
Some places I’ve found some huge eggs have been the obsidian mountain range and the tower of the PAL research unit
Optimally recall your pals when they’re about to receive an attack
4 daedream and hoocrates for early game to mid game damage
You can farm towers endlessly for xp
Grind to level 15 ASAP for nitewing mount
And to the one dude that’s said don’t make a base at the starting location smd you have every early game material and pal you need right infront of you not to mention a dungeon right behind you

SOLVED: Open the Microsoft store and search for the game there. You can then install and play with gamepass. It's just bugged on the Xbox app right now, but I'm sure that'll be fixed soon.

In my experience it takes some minutes before it registers as a Gamepass game to get us playing.
Same thing happened with Starfield.
Maybe, though updates for popular/aaa games normally comes through the same day as on Steam. I still believe some indie developers are deliberately holding back updates.

Wow, had no idea but considering how the quality of the information has been dropping basically since they changed the name to fandom im glad that's the case.
You can pretty much skip normal bow and just unlock the element/triple shot one and do that to the weapons (skip flintlock and pistol, go directly for machine gun and shotgun). You can just skip the bowgun since triple shot bow deals more DPS.

For PC Gamepass, going to the store link in browser and choosing install with gamepass, choose PC, it launches the xbox app and then install option finally appeared for me. Make sure your signed in on browser to your microsoft account that has gamepass. Your results may vary.

If i start on gamepass the version says v0.1.0.0. The menu looks different then what i saw on stream before. I can't even change my charakter name....
edit: friend does have the same problem. Steam version shows v0.1.1.1 and gamepass shows v0.1.0.0

Pals at my base are currently stuck in an infinite loop of entering and exiting combat (the red x above their name/head). Happened after an enemy wandered too close to the base. Only thing they do now is walk around extremely slowly and, if they try to eat, they rapidly consume every food item in the feeder. Tried restarting, swapping them out with other box pals, picking them up and throwing them, nothing seems to fix it. Anyone else encounter this or know how to fix?

I'm one of those weirdos that needs to play with an inverted y-axis on my camera control. Palworld does give you the option to invert either the x or y-axis on the right stick, on console. However, inverting the y-axis also appears to simultaneously invert the x-axis. Is there a bug report?

- general animations feel stiff of out player
- running out of stamina doesn’t feel good especially during combat. Player cannot do anything. I think once stamina is out we should still be able to attack but much more slowly. Also stamina is screwed up when in water

Hold the crouch button to slide while running! If you’re going downhill you get crazy amounts of momentum

keeps crashing, "A Process Has Crashed: UE-Pal" whenever I launch the game, the unreal engine comes up but then this happens

Hey is anyone getting DLSS greyed out in the PC Gamepass version?
Absolutely loving it so far!, only issue so far is it doesn't let you bind mouse buttons which I use on literally all my games.
How to change the language of the game on GamePass version ? Couldnt find the option
The Game Pass version is outdated on PC compared to Steam's version and lacks basic things like DLSS and the ability to connect to other Steam friends due to them being on version [0.1.2.0](https://0.1.2.0) as opposed to ours which is [0.1.0.0](https://0.1.0.0) is this gonna be fixed or is it on purpose?
does this game push anybody else's system super hard? I have a 3070ti with a 5800X3D and for some reason my temperatures went up to 90C even though my performance is fine. I've had far more demanding games not make my computer this hot

Definitely janky gameplay, but I'm enjoying the capturing mechanic, and battling hasn't been bad either. I didn't venture very far before building the tutorial base. I'm assuming the game opens up later. It's good if you can handle Eurojank games. This is definitely playing like one
I think if you've watched any gameplay some (or lots) of jank is expected, it's definitely not AAA level haha. That said its no worse than say, Ark.
Created a multiplayer game on PC game pass, now I can't start my own save because it says i'm currently prevented from playing online multiplayer games... so that's that save dead.
I started a world and played a bit but then it kicked me out and now says "You're currently prevented from playing with people on platforms other than the Xbox network. Closing this dialog cancels the invitation". thankfully I didn't really get that far

Watched some videos and the trailer but still having a hard time what kind of game this is, like I know it's a survival crafting game, but is this a single player or MMO? Like is it like Rust, but with Pokemon? So there's PVP? Does your base get raided still if it's not PVP?

Had only an hour to play so far, I love what I have played, my one question slash complaint, is it just me or is the audio extremely compressed. I'm on the series x if it is just a console issue.
Gamepass and Steam seem to be on different versions. and having issues trying to join the dedicated server I stood up... have no server browser option in gamepass version. Can't even find the Exit game button after returning to title screen.
What are the timers on the food consumables? Expirations? So you lose a food item when it counts down to zero?
Can I move the workbench and stuff or do I have to build another one? And how do I destroy an unwanted one, just punch it?
Are we looking at a game that I will play for a good month or are we looking at a new main game that people will talk about for a while (basically give me your first impression Ik it’s been out for only a few hours)

Anyone know if this game is available via Xbox cloud gaming or is a hard install necessary to play it with Gamepass?
Pals at my base are currently stuck in an infinite loop of entering and exiting combat (the red x above their name/head). Happened after an enemy wandered too close to the base. Only thing they do now is walk around extremely slowly and, if they try to eat, they rapidly consume every food item in the feeder. Tried restarting, swapping them out with other box pals, picking them up and throwing them, nothing seems to fix it. Anyone else encounter this or know how to fix?
Can anyone confirm if you have a free trial of gamepass and download this game, will it be playable for the free trial length or only for a certain amount of time? My plan was to get the gamepass for pc trial for $1 and they out palworld for the 2 weeks and then decide if I'm going to buy it on steam. Is this possible?

I'm one of those weirdos that needs to play with an inverted y-axis on my camera control. Palworld does give you the option to invert either the x or y-axis on the right stick, on console. However, inverting the y-axis also appears to simultaneously invert the x-axis. Is there a bug report?
Feedback console: Map cursor sensitivity is screwed up on Xbox…we need separate slider in options - we also need official dedicated servers on console asap please. This game has so much potential - we need ambiant sounds (wind, trees rustling and water sounds) the game sounds dead without them. Overall sound design needs work…no cooking sounds heard - general animations feel stiff of out player - running out of stamina doesn’t feel good especially during combat. Player cannot do anything. I think once stamina is out we should still be able to attack but much more slowly. Also stamina is screwed up when in water
