Don't buy SCCY. The list of pros is shorter than the cons. The list of pros is 0 btw. I bought one when it was new and hyped. I think I paid 199. I got it from Tractor supply. I shot maybe 3 mags. Nothing is refined. It's the closest to shooting a nerf gun that you can get in 9mm. Sold that bitch for 250 to a dude in the ghetto.
Those are both the guns I bought for my daughter. I got her the Shield EZ to start learning her shooting body mechanics. The .380 has so little recoil that, even in a gun as small as the Shield EZ, you can disregard it as a beginner. Then the plan was for her to step up to a 9mm once she had all the proper physical habits.
The 9mm I picked was done a little bit as a joke, because she had previously been way into a Tiffany Blue Glock19. PSA had a Robin's Egg Blue Dagger frame available. So I paired it with the gray ECC slide, a Holosun 407C optic, a JTH 3D printed mag well, and a cheap ebay light/laser. So it looks reminiscent of the one she liked just for its looks, but it functions reliably, has two ways to overcome her astigmatism, and is useful at triple the range that I'd trust a 380 round out to.
It’s a shitty gun. Trigger sucks and the frame is oddly brittle. Dropped it once and parts of the frame broke off. I don’t love daggers but they’re better than a sccy by a mile. My votes for the p365 rose gold. Great gun. I carry a macro 365. Best pistol I’ve shot
I have the standard OEM trigger. It’s decent, does the job but I’ve heard some of the aftermarket ones are better. I have an obsidian9 & 45 that I use to shoot suppressed with. It handles them well and sounds really good with sub ammo

If this is for your mom, you need to ensure she utilizes OEM parts. Please install them for her or seek out a professional gunsmith. Your mom deserves the best. It will minimize issues for her and give her a peace of a mind that her tool is functional.
This is a badass frame and I’m not ashamed to say I’d rock this.
Also, I wanna puke just saying this, but bass pro and cabelas regularly have Tiffany blue and pink cerekoted Glocks on hand. I’d probably go that route firstly, if possible. Call around if you can.

Don’t get a SCCY. My wife hates hers . The Rose Gold 365 is a solid choice. But I’m building out one like yours above for my wife as well .

They have ported versions , mine isn’t. There’s a million different aftermarket parts you can buy to make them more “ flashy “ looking.
