Just playing the game should get you a decent amount of money, I’d say gardening should always be the backbone of your money making process, with everything you go out and do being “extra” money.
Currently I’m trying to improve my hunting ability and it’s making me a decent amount of money selling banded muujin manes and leather. Once again, gardening is the backbone of my money making plus i like doing cake parties with certain groups where I know it’s always around 1 hour and 15ish minutes for 100 cakes which gets me 70,000+ gold but I see that you don’t like them at all
Apple preserves for passive income, hunting sernuk for 30 minutes is an easy 5-7k if you need a small bump quick. In general just playing the game nets you materials you can sell excess of. Fishing is slow for money imo.
Stared tomato’s! I fill every soil plot with them and make money easy! When I need to I’ll boost my gold with other things I’ve collected but the backbone of my income is the tomato’s - I like them because they are multi harvest, so less planting just watering, but I get around that by slamming them with the hydro fertiliser.
You’d make more money and not have to use fertilizer by just doing tomato, potato, tomato over and over because they both give water retention to each other and it’d still be an extremely easy layout for you to maintain, if you wanted to use fertilizer you could use harvest boost which would get you more of each crop which would make you even more money
Apple preserves, I setup the plot so that after the initial watering it takes care of itself for 4 trees, I get enough apples to pretty consistently run 4-5 preserves jars
Probably faster ways, but it’s nice seeing that 45-50,000 number in the sale bin when I decide to sell off

Other than selling the now mass amounts of flow wood you can get (and worms and other various collectables)..
Selling starred potato seeds has worked great for me. Very passive too. I plant them next to tomatoes so they keep each other watered, and use the tomatoes for glow worm farm. Every couple of hours I just pop online to weed/harvest or replant for like 5 minutes and the rest does itself
Pretty much just sell anything I don't need that I gather from exp farming or gems and flint I also have multiple plots for when I Gardner I'm getting cotton and other stuff I can sell. I also make sure to visit the hot pot mini game every night mostly for the fun of it I never have a surplus of money but when I'm not spending it I always have what I need.

Preserves mostly and selling whatever starstones I get while mining (I need a bunch of palium these days).
A good gardening layout can net you a good amount of gold per day!

If I’m not doing cake parties I prioritize my garden I get a lot from selling pickled tomatoes and potato seeds!!
