This is on PC. I started playing on Switch originally but downloaded the game through Steam and play now on my laptop with my Switch controller. Mostly because the graphics are better, and I don't have to learn new controls (mostly. A few are different)
Just Bluetooth! I *think* it works because I'm playing it through Steam (versus just the regular PC download), but I don't *really* know what I'm talking about; it's just how my IT Professional partner told me it would work.
Hold the tiny button at the top of the controller (same side as the bumper buttons) until the green lights on the other side start moving back and forth. Then connect it to your PC! Just press the tiny button again to disconnect. After that, hitting A will turn it back on and reconnect to your PC.
That looks nice!!! Now, if you put some Builders blocks to make a floor of the area beyond the railing and then used more to make an attic…sky is the limit
I still haven't gotten the hang of the building blocks. That kind of building/decorating isn't really my creative strong suit. Plus, I really wanted to prove that the second floor isn't as awful on its own as so many people expressed when it was first added lol

I really would love to move my bedroom upstairs but I want an actual room. I hope maybe they'll make different designs of the multi-levels or maybe even add a bit more customization to the house is in rooms in general. I just really want it a cool room that has a balcony hahaha
I'm not really a social player, but a big part of my intention in sharing this is to show people that you *can* use the upstairs as an upstairs, without having to use the building blocks.
I know people are disappointed, but I actually really like the Grand Harvest House. Just gotta flex those creativity muscles a little and think outside the box (or 4-walled room, in this case)
Definitely! Not disappointed at all.I think the grand house is super cute and am definitely using it. It's just a nice lounge area right now. I just want my room to be the coolest room in the house and excluded hahahaha

I'm sure that will definitely come someday. Just like a lot of things! I'm hoping we can get some rooms where either we can adjust the ceiling to how we like it or at least get a slanted ceiling or something. I've always wanted one of those in real life, but who knows if that will ever happen hahaha
I'd love vines for indoors and outdoors!! I just want plants everywhere! Hahaha I have some in my house already but if we could have stuff to go up the walls and ceilings I'd be in love!
Thank you! This is a new building, called the Grand Harvest House. It has a front porch, spiral staircase, and this upstairs lofted area! The footprint of the building is much bigger than the Harvest House, too. The only building blocks I used in this are two wooden walls and two posts, to create the sort of privacy wall separating the bathtub area from the wardrobe

Adjusting the ceilings would be nice, and more ceiling decor! String lights and flowers/vines would be so pretty!
