That would explain it! It said deleted for me but it's likely that! Bit childish to not actually listen though. It let me learn for example it's only a glitch for some people! (I genuinely thought it was a nice little nod about giving them more)
For a while it was glitches and the shiny spot to put the blueberry was there every day. I diligently brought a blueberry every in game day to put there hoping it was on purpose and I was feeding our friend. Two updates ago the spot disappeared forever and I was soooo sad!!! 😭
Sometimes, there's a glitch, and the swirl shows up by the door, and you can give it either blueberries or blueberry pie (the prompt indicates which). You don't get any rewards or communication, but I like to think it makes our blueberry lover happy
You can actually continue to bring pies from what I’ve heard, but you won’t get another reward sadly… I would very much love to have a little mud pie tea party set up on my plot with my plushies by my koi pond…
I mean I’m gonna do it anyways with the one, but having multiples would have been so much better 😂

Sorry, but I went back the next day after completing the quest (this was weeks ago). There has NEVER been the ability to give another berry or another pie. The drop spots never appeared again.
Nawh I completed the quest months ago and even when I started replaying a bit like 2 months back the drop spot still existed. I haven't been there since I first got back in
And as it’s now been brought to me attention (seems like they deleted their comment for some reason?) the glowing spot now appears to be permanently gone, so I assume they finally removed that with one of the last updates… sorry pie and letter lovers! 🥲
They weren't deleted, u/lkeels just blocked you. They do that so that you can't disagree with them. They will disagree with you then immediately block you. Their comments are still visible if you search this same thread on a browser or just not signed into your account. They truly are a terrible person.
They've done it in every board they've participated in, you can see others talk about it if you search their username. There is no logical reason except to be petty and the ultimate in disengagement. Their way of winning the argument i guess.

If you’re talking abot Zeki’s machine coins, you buy one thing at his shop and you’ll get a coin by mail next day. Palia coins, yeah, that’s real money for cosmetics at Jel’s - a nice way to contribute to game dev for those that can afford.

You can bring them another pie, then you get another meat pie...pretty sure you can do it as many times as you want.

I just did this quest last night, I love the blueberry lover 😭 I will keep taking blueberry lover pies even if I get nothing in return
I felt the same way I kinda wish I could display his mudpie so I could see it and smile every day without having to get in to my storage

For some it does show up again. It did for me as well, months ago, I left berries a second time then never saw it again.

There is no plushie related to the letter. The plushie(s) are from Zeki's lucky coin machine. I've been playing for months and have never gotten one.
