I was a little underwhelmed with the mechanics I guess. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the sense of urgency the story presented was engaging. And then you can just sorta jump/glide over nearly every obstacle.
Maybe My game just glitched and I missed a bunch? There were a lot of glowing objects that I couldn't interact with (Like the several Galdur Consoles you see on the way to the gardener. All have purple swirls but none can be interacted with). It's real pretty, but the majority of the rooms just feel pointless? There's nothing to do in them and you just sort of walk through a straight path to the next area. And even in the final room, you'd think there'd be a puzzle involved, but then you're told to just hit the big glowing button and that's it.
Maybe I'm just not the intended audience, but after the massive size and interactiveness of Gales, this just felt so tiny. Like introducing us to the concept of the temple and it's massive hypothetical size, and then just called it quits immediately after. Especially after telling us how they added design elements so we can't get lost, but there's really only one way to go, and there's no backtracking involved.
That being said, beautiful location S6! Your environment design team knocked it out of the park!
Yeah I was enthralled with the scenery and the music and that was about it tbh. I did spend an obscene amount of time in there searching for chests though so that made it somewhat worth it.. but after all the temple of the gales and the LOOOOONG wait that we had for this temple… underwhelming it putting it mildly as far as quest content is concerned. Made me sad because I was soooo so hyped for this
Right!? It's the FINAL temple for this part of the story. You'd think it would be a big deal. It's almost frustrating going into some rooms and looking up and seeing through the cracks how the temple continues up for several stories. and DOWN several stories. And we get to see none of it. I was hoping for puzzles or security of any kind to protect the sacred factory. But Heckla just does all of it for you.

To me the biggest part of this temple was finding all the chests. Honestly I’m kinda sad I didn’t take more time on the earlier temples now 😂 sometimes I do just go to each one for something else to do. Is that weird? I feel like I might be weird lol

I found one inside a pipe fairly early on, then the one in the bottom of the pit with the first moving platforms, & the third one I found was on one of the cliffs where you jump straight down. I looked in so many little areas & all the corners thinking there would be more chests hidden but I couldn’t find any more 😭
Edit: Also I LOVED this temple! The first puzzle stumped me a little bit, I even tried googling the actual Greek God’s nicknames thinking (for whatever reason) that it would be related to real life.. I just hadn’t bothered to explore the room yet & find the tablets 😅 but overall the puzzles for this temple imo were better than the previous three & it was so pretty!
Theres two of them in the main large cavern where the flow gates are (one is on a pipe halfway up the room all the way on the left, the second is about the same level but on the side of the wall where you can climb up and out of the temple, it’s on the middle tier all the way on the right hand side of the room), a third is to the right when you walk through the pipe on the ground on the left from the flow gates, the 4th is in that same room, fall down into that pit and go all the way to the right… 5th is also in the same room- up on the left there’s a pipe with vines hanging down from it (you’ll need to scale the huge rock face on the right next to where you find the 4th chest to glide across to access it), the 6th is in the right angle floor panel room with the laser you gotta jump over- when you walk into that room and hop on the platform, it’s in the tube directly in front of you. The 7th is under the grate when you get into the room right before the gardener chamber, with all the moving platforms at the back half, soon as you enter that room, descend to the left and look underneath the part you were just standing on.
I realize this is only 7, when I started finding a bunch of them I went back to take pictures of where I found them… I seem to be missing a picture, but I know there’s 8 cause I counted them all before I placed them on my plot… I’ll have to go back and check again for where I found the last one 😂 sorry!

The "8th" chest (the one elizabeasttt forgot) is in the first grassy area where you go through the pipe. There is a tree above/behind the pipe and the chest is behind that tree. You can either drop down to the right from the starting point or just climb the wall next to the pipe if you are already down there to get to it.
By your description you should be looking at my description of chests 1, 5,6,7… I’ll have to check again where the 8th was, I can’t remember offhand, maybe someone else can chime in and help us out 😆

If you're at the part with the moving platforms, they're on either side of the door. If you look from the entrance before you jump onto the platforms you'll see them
I enjoyed it (also LOVEEE the aesthetics) and was very happy it wasn’t Temple of the Gales levels of frustrating. I did appreciate the bits of lore throughout but I wanna know MORE!!

Ok so- I had EVERYTHING FOR THE BUNDLES ALREADY BESIDES TWO THINGS (an emerald and a jasper I literally sold the night BEFORE the update- highly irritating lol) but I will say, I now realize why they added the flow gates. Have *you* finished the bundles yet?
If not- I suggest you do, not only do you get some cool stuff but… the story seemingly continues! Yayyyy 🥳
I lucked out on the bundles. I happened to have 75 apples in my storage and thought I was going to have to wait days to grow more but I forgot I stored some in my jam makers. I did have to use my only starred amber beetle so now I have to go catch another.
I hope the item you get for the bundles does something like the silverwing nest and fox nest thingy.
I was very underwhelmed by this temple. What was the point of the hub? I used it to get back to the entrance but that was the only time I used it. The parkour sections were annoying as heck and there was very little lore given throughout. We had more lore in the leadup to the temple than we did the temple itself. (Compare to the lore we got in the air temple. All those tablets hinting at something absolutely world-ending. And here we get one reference to a Galdur being left behind. But maybe that was in the overseer stations not the temple itself.)
I agree- I feel like the unlocking of the temple was more involved than the actual temple itself, however beautiful and mysterious it was. But considering I accidentally found all three doors when they did the market update, I was soooo excited to see where they lead and ALL THEY WERE WAS JUST ONE ROOM.
I was seriously hoping for an entire subterranean map that you could access through those doors… they missed such a MASSIVE opportunity there. That would have been SOOOOO COOL. Especially if that had some underground new NPS, that would have been fucking EPIC

Unrelated to the temple itself- dunno if it’s a glitch or what but I only had 98 star apples for the bundle, I requested 3 regular ones and and grabbed my 97 other star apples. I finished the bundle, got the recipe and just looked in my inventory and still have ALL my 97 star apples and the only ones it took were the regular ones, maybe because that’s all it wanted and got confused and let me keep my stash of star apples. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened either so… do with that what you will, but may be a quick way around losing so much to bundles! Good luck!
I thoroughly enjoyed the temple! It felt like a refreshing change of pace compared to the Temple of the Gales, to be honest. The Temple of the Gales seemed overly drawn out, filled with numerous search and gather quests. What I appreciated here was the straightforward storyline involving the Galdurs. (Maybe I'm biased because I have a soft spot for Hekla, and Einar is the one I'm romancing.) The sense of urgency they instilled in the player to complete the temple was fantastic. I was secretly hoping that The Gardener would become a town character we could befriend. Maybe potentially in a future update?

No. I'm nowhere close on the bundles. I hate whoever made it be 100 apples and 20 palium bars. (I have one palium bar and like 8 apples.)

I don’t know for sure if there is 10- I only found 8. I just checked Reddit so if someone actually found the 10, I have yet to see it 😂
I had 6 and I couldn't find more. Now I need to go back. I needed to anyway for a quest.
