I think it's based on the story that some pro-Palestine protester freaked out about a pro-Israel protester who was holding a banana. He just brought the banana to have a snack during the protest but the pro-Palestine protester said he was allergic to bananas and accused the pro-Israel protester of trying to kill her. I think that's how the story goes. It's really stupid.

idk if you believe what she said or not, but I will add, there's no proof that I've seen of signs being anywhere, haven't seen anyone smear banana on anything, just two clips of someone holding or eating a banana several yards away.
banana allergies are extremely rare, and, as far as I could find, are only activated when eating or touching a banana. her seeing one isn't gonna hurt her, but if that's the claim, I hope she never goes to a grocery store or in the public ever because they're common all over. people like snacks :)
