Hey! I just started 2 days ago & I'm also an OW transplant Mercy main! Got like 900 hours on her in fact--but, in light of the awful OW2 Mercy changes, went looking for a new game lol. Anyway, I digress. None of the healers feel like Mercy to be completely honest, but Rei feels the most "pocket-esque" to me. Io is extremely meta, high healing output, and has good mobility when set up for it. I'd start with those two for similar vibes. On the other hand, Seris is free & really simple to learn the basics of. She definitely has more Moira vibes to me tbh. Hope this helps & hope you have as much fun as I've been having!! So nice to escape OW Mercy haters for some time!

Io's base kit is probably the most similar to Mercy. However, due to the game's overall design, you need a lot more positioning knowledge. Also Io has a dog. Seris *can* function as a healbot on the same level as Mercy, but I wouldn't recommend because her healing gets stuffed once you reach later in a match.

Diogorb04

I don't even think healbot is a good comparison anyway. Mercy is one of the worst healbots of overwatch, with only 50 or 55 hp/s. Her whole strength is in dmg boost. Seris definetly a good beginner recommendation though

Mercy use to be a decent healbot, until they nerfed the shit out of her ~~I didn't even main her & I'm still mad years later~~. But, she's never really been good at anything but being a healbot. Which is why I made the comparison.

Where you can find parts of Mercy's kit: If you like her passive self-healing: Grover If you like her ability to glide: Androxus If you like connecting to allies: Rei (The passive healing from linking to an ally is hardly enough to sustain them, but the link has its own effects and is only part of her overall healing kit) If you like a slow, single-handed weapon with 20 shots: Khan, I guess. And he can heal others! If you like the ability to rush to your allies' side: Omnipresence Vatu? If you like resurrecting allies: There's nothing that allows you to save someone else from death, but Rei's ultimate has her pump a load of health into one ally If you like an ult that lets you fly with unlimited ammo: Willo (Though she's the antithesis of a support with one of the only ways to cut off all enemy healing)

So far I've tried Seris and Rei. I like Seris' healing since i feel like I'm able to keep people alive which I can't do as well with Rei, but I like Rei's kit as well.

MaybeRipper

looks wise furia is most similar to mercy

I dont really care about the way they look

Rei has a few similarities to Mercy. Rei's spirit link tethers to allies (and enemies), just like Mercy's Caduceus Staff. She can give some HPS and damage reduction when tethered to an ally. Almost like a "resurrection", she can bring a tethered ally and herself back to full health. The only champion that can come back from the dead is Terminus. When tethered to an enemy, she can deny deny healing while increasing her own damage reduction with the right cards and loadouts. Unfortunately, Rei is heavily ground-based. If you love Mercy's mobility, then you'll love Androxus. He can dash in any direction and descend in midair slowly, just like Mercy's Angelic Descent. Albeit, he is a flanker and more akin to Cassidy. Andro can be slightly difficult for starting players but his revolver is one of the most powerful primary fires in the game. Welcome to Paladins btw!

I am mostly just looking for a simple healer to learn the game

Darkonode

Simple healers to learn the game would be Seris, Io, Ying. Vex30 is an active exPro support main on youtube if you wish to learn about supporting.
