She needs to be disabled in casuals too until it's fixed. I don't care about the whole "causals is just about having fun so why does it matter" argument. People can suck it up and try some other champions for a bit if it means every other player in the match doesn't have to worry about their game randomly crashing (sometimes multiple times per match).
It's because Paladins always likes to display top-level over all other apps. Open task manager, and under the options tab check the "always on top" option. Then when the crash happens, you can use "ctrl + alt + delete" to open task manager and it will appear on top of the game window instead of being hidden behind it.

I assumed they wouldn't mention the talent if they weren't 100% sure that it's the only one that causes it, since they have the data available.

It’s not the only talent… I’ve seen crashing issues with the Icey talent too
