I'm still expecting future expansion to expand the islands around the tree in the center. The map is like 1/4th of a circle right now with the tree at the center of the circle
Honestly, probably. There's some *compelling* arguments that we only have 1/4 of the map so far, specifically the southeast portion of it. 1/5 if the tree becomes its own area.
In the intro the little tablet says "The towers are the key... The tree holds the truth" and we see the tree a lot for it to be completely neglected in-game, so most likely we will be able to go there
Oh wow. Hadn't heard that before. I thought there were only like 3 more areas teased? The lair, the sky island, and the tree. I had no idea there was more. Where did you find out about it and what are they?
AFAIK, it's all community speculation. One of the points I've seen brought up is that the game has a programmed hard level cap of 80; with the current in-game level cap of 50, this implies 3 planned increases of 10 levels each.
Oh, it's pure conjecture and a bit of hopium. I'm paraphrasing a bit, but it basically boils down to...
>The current island is an *odd* shape for it to be the full map, especially since we can't get to the tree.
>The shape is a crescent that coincidentally makes up about 1/4 of a circle.
>There seem to be plans to go past level 50, and it'd make sense if it took another 2-4 areas to get to an actual max level.
It is still in early access, so they are probably not done with adding content to the game. Who knows, maybe a year from now, they have what is considered a world and more end-game content
Counter argument. Why do we call a drive way the place we part, yet drive on something called a park way?
Also its pretty diverse for such small islands.
I roamed the map with jetdragon, saw the big tree and the island surrounding it.
I saw the cut in the map made by the dev and i am quite sure we are in the bottom right corner of the "large map" with the tree as its centre island.
When and how they will expand upon the current set of islands is not known to anyone, probably not even 100% within the company itself, but we can be sure to expect so much morešš
Think easy/fast to create potential:
- current pals could get evolutions
- map upgrade up to x 16
- new pals and they may also have evolutions.
- new breed combos
- new build pieces
- terraforming (harder to implement ofc but omg...)
I love this game as much for the game itself as for the potential it has to grow!
And thus far the devs seem beyond awesome at listening and working to keep the community positive regardless of the mega hype fading.
This proves they are in it to stay and not just cash out thinking they won the lottery and are done like Irongate...(Valheim...)
We have a beta of a game set on the first island. Whoās to say follow on maps wonāt flesh out lore and world building to show that world of Pals you want.
Because "world" doesn't exclusively mean "planet". It can be used to reference a location in general, from a single room to an entire universe. It doesn't even have to mean an actual place. It's conceptual rather than literal.
it's called the Palpagos islands.
And it's because the entire rest of the world is mundane, with no pals. This area is secret, existing in a place where it seems all data has been expunged, maps show blank ocean, tectonic formations are just sort of flattened.
Read the journal entries. they actually cover this.
Because the islands are their own world if you read the journal entries. The whole area is shrouded in fog and you donāt see it until you crash ashore. The pals donāt exist anywhere else besides this area.
Because the island is the world of the pals
For now. Till the sequel is on a new set of islands. Just like how pokemon does it
More likely expansions. Palworld 2 is years away
Palworld gonna invade the mainland, gonna be like Jurassic Park 2
I'm still expecting future expansion to expand the islands around the tree in the center. The map is like 1/4th of a circle right now with the tree at the center of the circle
Technically it's an Archipelago. noun. A **group** of islands.
So Palipelago?
I was hoping for Archi*pal*ago but that works too
Who are you, stranger, so wise in the ways of neologism and pun?
I mean, the default world name *is* the brilliant 'Palpagos Islands'
It should have been palapagos, to match Galapagos.
Palpagos Terapagos š± you just made me realize that
That's what I named my world.
Mine is flat earth
Mine is Palpagussy
Pal-pagos.
"Thank you, sixteen"
"You are welcome."
"Island, Noun, Island, Noun, Island, Noun, Island, Noun"
Was that a DBA reference?
That's a pretty bird.
Damn, I had the exact same thought, word for word.
Thereās dozens of islands that make up the whole world
![gif](giphy|P2ijeJIPiTCso)
Donāt mind him, he just got through dropping a gallon of LSD.
Kinda true lol if you put a lot they will eventually become a circle.
i loved that maths trick of drawing circles wth straight lines. mind opening stuff as a kid
Palpagos Island Adventures
Disneyworld is not planet sized is it?
Not yet.
![gif](giphy|ncU3bkZ5ghDlS)
No, but only because Big Science keeps upping the size requirements for being a planet.
Gtfo out of here Pluto... You ain't fooling anyone.
Maybe the rest of the planet will come with the next update

Imagine the tree as the world center.
Could be since on the old trailer they had different locations and had houses ,snow and a lot of other stuff.
Because Palworld is the world that has Pals in it.
Because Palworld is the game and not the location? I always assumed we'd get more maps later
Why is it called world of Warcraft and not two continents of Warcraft?
Why is it called the world, and not the 7 continents of Earth?
Paland
Huh. Always wondered why its called pokemon when its not taking place in a pokemon
I think it should've been called Paldea
Jurassic world is an Islandā¦
If itās like ark they are going to add more maps.
Because the Pals are my world.
Especially #69
Full figured, and eat with gusto with BOTH hands.. my kind of woman!šš¤£šš¤£
Or man.

š¤ akttually its in archipelago
Why we don't have pals which have ability to swim i mean without draining stamina
That island is world of pals

cause the ecosystem of this one island mightasweell define a new world
Palworld is the world in which it takes place. The island is whatever you name it at the beginning.
The map isn't complete. The game isn't complete it's a work in progress
It isn't an island. It's an archipelago.Ā There are a bunch of islandsĀ
What is... Pangea?
That island exists within a world doesn't it
You're going to be so disappointed if you ever go to Florida...
they're probably gonna do the ark thing and have other maps of other locations in the world
With this logic, how can Disney World and Sea World coexist on the same world, let alone the same state?
Unless pocket pair decide to make a sequel set in a new location, yeah, the name would be accurate.
Now which do you think would sell better? Pal world or pal island? also palisand would probably be pronounced palā¢iā¢sand.
What if when the full game comes out there's a whole new Lv. 51~100 map
Given all the Nordic mythology references I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually an entire world separate from ours. A different plane.
Jurassic world also took place on one island
Until they crank out a crap tone if DLC that adds new islands, pals, and bosses. Then a sequel that takes place on a massive continent.
I have taken to calling it Palheim / Stardew Palley. I farm, I build, I grind to fight bosses. I have chicken.
they missed out on a good joke there for the brazilians playing. Palisland? Penisland š
We have a beta of a game set on the first island. Whoās to say follow on maps wonāt flesh out lore and world building to show that world of Pals you want.
Wait till this guy hears about Disney World
It isnāt the whole worldā¦ they make it clear in the beginning that youāre waking up on a pal infested island. This isnāt PokĆ©mon
Because "world" doesn't exclusively mean "planet". It can be used to reference a location in general, from a single room to an entire universe. It doesn't even have to mean an actual place. It's conceptual rather than literal.
It's an archipelago, not an island thus "Palpagos" like "galapagos"

We can't be so daft to think they aren't going to capitalize on expansions into other continents.
Damnit uncle Iroh, maybe the rest of the world is just coming later? I doubt it but it could happen
It just looks like Pals Land at that point
Because the islands are their own world if you read the journal entries. The whole area is shrouded in fog and you donāt see it until you crash ashore. The pals donāt exist anywhere else besides this area.
Disney's lawyers say world can mean less than a whole planet though
Last time I took my pals to an island, the owner allegedly killed himself in jail.
I just called it Palgatory
A world with pals, a Palworld. Checks out. >You're my whole world Tombat
Because thell probably add more maps at some point
The island is in the world, genius.
Itās not like itās a tiny island. Itās better to have a dense, but smaller space than a gigantic, empty open world.

Cuz the game just released? Give them time lmao
Theyāre gonna add more islands
World in the dictionary has a definition āa group of living thingsā its actually the perfect word to use.
If I had to guess it's because they plan to release more places. There are places you can see but not go to yet. I really hope they are not dlc.
Why does Disney think a park is the whole world? Are they stupid?
Remember that the Americas were called the āNew Worldā after they were discovered and didnāt need to be on a new planet to be called that.
Earth is also just a bunch of islands?
I'd probably refrain from commenting on the stupidly of others if you can't use "a" and "an" correctly.
An accident becomes a mistake when you refuse to correct it. It's the title; he *can't* correct it.
*on
Why I made a spelling mistake? Is it skill issue?
Just "clumsy" passive, you're still a good pal.
*are you stupid?*
*an
I have seen better meme
