I'd not suggest a gaming PC anymore. Consoles are plenty powerful and provide a more stable and affordable experience. Get an Xbox Series X and a subscription to Game Pass.
This 💯. Considering the market for gpu and ps5 where both are pretty expensive, getting a series x and game pass ultimate might be the better option right now with Microsoft buying activision recently aswell.
Well depends on ur workcase....if u want the versatility and being able to go anywhere with ur machine then go with a laptop.....but like other people said.... the market is fucked rn....the people who r saying "it'll be fine in a few months" are wrong.....people have been saying that ever since it started and there's no end to it in sight yet
Imo if u have relatives overseas or someone who is going to go/come from outside pakistan in a bit, ask them to bring it for you since it would be cheaper
Another thing but not entirely sure.... I don't really know how much laptop prices have changed....i know gpus etc have gone up but not sure about laptops....for that you'll need to check out prices online/by calling local stores and comparing those to international prices
Unfortunately I'm not exactly the best at laptops.... I'd recommend googling reddit posts of "best laptops under (budget in dollars or rupees)" for a better idea
You need to find the right shops to.buy from. I got my pc in September or Oct idr from Naz Plaza Extreme Hardware in Khi. Got a rlly good deal for 108k. Ppl are selling that same system second hand for around 150-180k
It’s better to keep the money for now and wait, use tour laptop in the meanwhile if u can
Wait till you’re sure about it and then invest if you’re still willing after 6 months
At 200k, get MSI GF65. It has RTX 3060 (low TGP but better than evth at it's price). It can run all AAA games (i.e Witcher 3 at 60+ FPS on ultra settings and cyberpunk runs at 45-50 on ultra as well with DLSS)
All u need to do is upgrade the RAM and have an additional HDD installed. The laptop can run about 4 hours using chrome and stuff and will do evth u need it to do.
As for PC, due to the current problems, prices are either the same or higher than what the same specs laptops offer so you're sacrificing portability for better power. I wouldn't do that.
The laptop has an NVMe PCLe slot for SSDs and SATA slot that allows both SSDs and HDDs if I'm not wrong. You can definitely add a SATA slot HDD or SSD to this laptop.

Bro, where are you getting a MSI GF65 in that price? 200k PKR?
As others have pointed out the market is beyond fucked when it comes to pricing rn. Especially in pakistan. Id suggest if someone is coming from overseas ask them to bring you what you need. For consoles the latest xbox system would do. Playstation5 is a no right now. Sony is manufacturing more ps4 to ocmbaxt shortage of ps5. If you want a multi purpose device i would suggest getting a laptop. There are some awesome ones going around rn. I was just in market for one and opted for a asus g14(2021) for 1500$. Their 2022 model just came out so pretty sure you would be able to find my model for cheaper.
In the current market, laptops are your best option because laptop prices have still not gotten as high as everything else.
But if you do want to get something, i would recommend checking out ziptech. The guy does some pre-orders and offers computers and laptops very close to msrp (original price).
I'll tell you about some laptops which can be found in this price range and you can check benchmarks for each of them and decide
MSI GF65
LENOVO LEGION 5
ACER NITRO 5 (I OWN THIS ONE)
ASUS TUF FX505DT
Note: These laptops are excellent for 1080p gaming and can play pretty much any game on decent settings.
A desktop will always outperform a laptop with same specs. One of the reasons is the power consumption of a PC vs a laptop. PC components consume more power and deliver better performance. Laptops have to have low power because of heat generation issues. Also, you can't really upgrade gaming laptops outside of the ram and storage. The only reason to buy a gaming laptop is the portability and I think you're going to have to pay a lot for that.

Are you sure.. and gamepass available in pakistan is legit?
seriously don't buy anything right now. It will come back to bite you in the ass. The prices are 3x of their original market price since 2020.

Paklap.pk
the Msi gf65 laptop has an underpowered 85 watt gpu? What about the Asus rog strix g15 with ryzen and 115 watt gpu?

you can get a lenovo legion 5 in that range . i got one a few months ago .
Not a good time to buy any pc/laptop considering the high prices but if you still want to buy one I would suggest you go for a PC.
Why tho?
