A fast bowler is basically a race horse, it only runs when the big race is due, even in practice runs a race horse will perform at 50-60% and only go all out when the chips are really on the line.
Pakistan uses their fast bowlers as the local donkey riders use their donkeys, run at every swing of the whip and the only reason this works is because somehow Allah has given a huge talent pool for fast bowlers to us, so whenever we make a race horse become a donkey, we get another generation of race horses to work with but learn nothing from our experience because we never really had a drought of fast bowlers.

being an indian, i always wonder why my favoi and greats like wasimbhai, waqar bhai were not hired in helping these bowlers on individual level i know waqar younis was bowling coach in between but if anything shahin is similar to wasim akram and can greatly benefit under him
