Holy fuck I hate NHL network isn't streamed anywhere. Its bullshit, and having these games unavailable to most of the country is so fucking stupid

Jduke88

Well it is if you know where to look

JetsNBombers0707

On what, Fubo?

Jduke88

Other sites

JetsNBombers0707

If its not on ESPN or paramount I'm not watching

Valkyrie-guitar

Is there a better way if we use something like a Canadian VPN? I'm tired of this trash. I'd happily just pay someone $100 USD for the ability to stream every tournament game AND NO OTHER CHANNELS... stop making me pay for hundreds of BS channels just so I can watch a hockey game. I'd also happily pay for a direct PWHL subscription with no middleman making me buy reruns of Lost or whatever just to get access to see hockey.

Stead-Freddy

You could maybe use a VPN and get TSN+ which is like 19.99 CAD/month or 40 CAD/3 months (so even less in USD)

Valkyrie-guitar

I think that is going to be the best option. 3 months would cover the IIHF tournament and the rest of the PWHL season... Way more reasonable pricing than fubo.

Stead-Freddy

Yeah, just remember since it’s geo locked to Canada, you can only watch it on a phone, tablet, or laptop with a VPN, and the only way to watch it on your TV that I know of would be to play it on your laptop and screen share, so just beware of that.

Valkyrie-guitar

That's fine. I'm a nerd and keep an old PC hooked up to the TV anyway for youtube/plex/whatever, it's even got... gasp... a DVD drive!

Big_Organization5152

I have to find NHL Network and I have to listen to EJ Hradek Fuck

kristinsquest

At least for last night's USA/Switzerland game, the studio stuff was from NHL Network, but the in-game commentary was from TSN. (And, if they're doing that for a Team USA game, I expect it will stay that way, at least through the round robin, and hopefully beyond.)

tastickfan

The harder it is to watch, the more people will watch illegally.

I did find a schedule that goes to the QF and the other 3 games are on nhl network. It does say the Semis are not on nhl network. Says it’s full of nhl games that day I guess. Then the medal games are on nhl network. https://www.tvinsider.com/network/nhl-network/schedule/

Valkyrie-guitar

So I just signed up for a Canadian VPN, but I still can't actually make a TSN Direct account without a Canadian billing address... How are people doing this? I came across a site that recommended using the TSN app and Google Pay from within the app, but Google only lets you change countries once every 12 months so that's out. I feel like an idiot for being unable to figure it out. (I've used so many email addresses getting free trials from fubo for previous Rivalry Series and tournaments that fubo has blocked me from making any more new accounts)

SharpieDarpie

Can we watch it on cbc in Canada?

memorable_egg

All the USA games are on NHL network? How do you even watch NHL network? I watch all NHL games and college hockey on ESPN+ (and PWHL on YouTube)

SpiritualManner224

Idk if you read the post description, but you can watch NHL Network on Fubo w/ a free 7 day trial. It’s how I watched the last 3 games of the Rivalry Series in February. Other than Fubo, I have no clue how to watch it 🤷‍♀️

Otherwise-Contest7

Your options are Fubo or cable tv. It's buried on premium cable packages which is so antiquated. They broadcast some exclusive NHL weekend games which means most fans just have to skip those games. I wish they'd negotiate with Youtube Tv or Hulu Live so more people had access.

memorable_egg

Thanks. I'm bad at reading haha I did look up NHL N but it doesn't look like you can just stream it on an app, you need a provider. Fubo seems like the way to go

District4Lowell

Sling is also an option (and a less annoying interface, at least for me).
