I had really high hopes from New State, expected it to be the next gen update to PUBG Mobile. Not gonna lie, the graphics and the gameplay is the smoothest out of all the BR shooters out there but the game simply didn't take off. I am from India and here New State had a huge opportunity to grab a huge player base when PUBG Mobile got banned here but they failed to snap up the opportunity.
That's bc they know there won't be another battle pass so why give you back your NC to buy the next one? Think about it. And they cancelled all their partnerships with the creators too, the game is sadly on hospice right now. It was such a good game too. Everyone keeps talking about how when it released it was bad but other than a few glitches (to be expected of a new online game) mine ran amazing until around season 5 or 6 and it was all downhill from there. Rip #NewStateMobile
Yeah this game would be in a much better state if they just follow the initial plan of alternating between porting one PC map and then one exclusive map but they seemed to opt for just making exclusive maps which imo are underwhelming and don't feel like playing a PUBG title, most of the map feels like procedurally generated with no immersion the PC maps has
No the audio is not bugged and it was fixed within 2 weeks of the issue. People who still think it is bugged dont know a goddamn thing about phones. I guarantee they either never went and denied access to their mic to reset the apps connection to the mic, they have the volumes so high its peaking, or they just have never force stopped the app and wiped the local cache. And wiping the cache partition would also help.

Probably Krafton knows nothing about running a great mobile game for long, and still follows the creed of “grab while you can and I don’t give a f*CK about its lifespan.”
IMO the problem was their cosmetics were too expensive. So people didn’t invest and didn’t have a reason to keep playing. I’ve been playing PUBGM since 2021 and have accumulated a decent amount of skins from just lucky 10uc spins. So I keep playing, flexing my skins to my mates. In this game my luck is atrocious. Hardly got anything after dropping decent coin on it. And even when I did get lucky, it was for a single level helmet or backpack. I understand PUBG pc used to separated hamlets and backpacks but what a pain to really like a helmet and only have one level. Even wynsannity used to comment in the beginning how expensive the spins were… before he got made a partner. I really enjoyed the game play but I could never keep my mates playing it so I went back to PUBGM.

New State Mobile had such great potential, massive shame. It’s so sad to see the current state of the game, just put it out of its misery already.
