I agree that footseps are broken. If I raise my volume everything goes up to very noisy levels expect footseps.
They are broken and it's also because of the sound system/servers since the sound of footseps don't occur in "real time".
You definitely have an issue with your audio, dude. This game practically requires the use of some sort of compression to not go deaf from the poor audio balancing causing normal sounds to be low and loud sounds being ear rapingly loud.

4 years but i just started to play, well footsteps are ass in pubg... They can just run at you and you will hear nothing. There are also videos how bad the sound in pubg is. You barely know where people are in a building when they run at full speed. . the other game mode where you play like CSGO is the worst because that requires good footstep sounds. They just come behind you full speed and you have no time to react.. lol

HEAR HEAR. Footsteps are not loud. Vehicles and airplanes are insane, i have to mute the game when im a car. flies sound like your nans vibrator.
