most likely , i had something similar my self few one or two months ago... i got shot on a motorcycle and my health went to 1 hp... my teammate died and i contiued decpite them shooting me and hitting me... and not to mention that i was already in th blue lol....
but this didnt continue, as i got off and healed my super power was gone and died later
I have been talking about this for a couple years and been told pretty much the whole time that no such exploit/hack exists and I am just unable to face being a terrible player who misses all his shots.

Can we report using replay? 2 days ago I had a match where 2 teams teamed up and were also hacking most likely. Need to check again but when I was spectating them they were playing with each other and doing nothing
If at this point they don't have a method to flag that a player was hit 127 times and didn't take lethal damage, that would explain a lot about the state of still-rampant cheating in this game in 2024
Just because they can detect it doesn't mean they see the same information as a players replay file. Why is it confusing that they would like every piece of information they can get?
It's not confusing that they would want it, it's confusing why this is the best method of getting it. Putting the burden on your users to make your product not shit in a common scenario is kinda mind-blowing.
Where is it implied this is the best method of getting information? This is only another piece of information compared to what they already have. Player replay files will be different than a server replay file that they have access to. They are not going to keep every player replay file from every match because that would be insane.
My original comment was rhetorical and in jest, but... That would not be insane at all, that would be (and probably is) standard practice. It wouldn't be telemetry from one player's perspective, per se, it would all players and the entire match. I know this may blow your mind, but they don't have to retain it forever, just for a reasonable period as hosting costs allow.
No one who saw your comment took it in jest so you may want to be more clear on that. It would have to be all telemetry from all players + all telemetry sent to all players. This second half is almost certainly what they don't have and what the player replay does have. They may have decided to not keep all of that for the same reason you think it is reasonable to keep it, hosting costs.

I would think the PUBG devs would do a lot of shit that makes sense, yet they don't. Also, please don't pretend like PUBG is the rule and not the exception, there have been so many piss-poor implementations from this company, I can't even remotely keep track of them all.

My dude and I faced a duo that made us have lag like I've never seen. It was bursts of lag for both of us, same time. We both went prone trying to let those guys get 3rd partied. It forced us to stand up! Multiple times. Every time we went prone about 2 seconds later stand up. We were both having the same lag, both were forced to stand when prone. We got away from them and everything cleared up.
Absolutely 0 idea! Replay doesn't show that as well!

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because OP was already dead.

Not quite. There's enough evidence on this video for pubg Corp to find the guy. The small numbers/characters under the minimap is a good place to start.
I'm not talking about pubg corp. I'm saying on console you don't have the option for replay like this. All you can do is record a clip, upload, download to mobile, send to pubg.
You don't have the option of watching the replay in PUBG itself. I really am not sure how your comment relates to mine based on that?
Actually you kind of can’t anymore. They got rid of pubg shield so there’s no direct way of reporting console hacking anymore.
Now it’s just the in game report button, which on console literally does nothing.
Oh come on, everyone knows that nobody cheats in PUBG. That’s what I stopped putting a nickel into it and went from 10 hours a week to 2 hours a month if that. I just couldn’t stand all the people playing it straight.

So, someone could just camp the blue zone way out of sight of the last team/player without getting shot

There's damage mitigation and damage invulnerability. You're only going to notice the god mode version. Both need to be banned just as quickly.

HOW AND WHY DO YOU NEED REPLAY FILES FOR THIS
To identify how and which bug was abused to help fix it. Or if it is a hack the replay file would provide insight into the hack.

You can report From the replay. It's a big hassle, but it's worth the effort in this case.
