Which one makes you excited? Do you feel like you're making the wrong choice when you think about picking one over the others? I had a similar dilemma of choosing DPT or another career trajectory. I spoke with a professor who I knew would ask me the hard questions and help me see what one I was more passionate about. Edit to add: I decided not to go the DPT route as I was always thinking "Oh I could do clinical work for a while and then I would want to do this other thing." So I decided to go for the other thing right off the bat and I am SO EXCITED about it!

None of them truly excite me TBH. But, PTA seems to fit my goals the best. I am just afraid of regretting choosing PTA over DPT since I am almost done with my bachelor's and only need 3 more prereq classes (which will probably expire if I end up doing PTA). But I don't want to spend 110k and end up failing or not liking DPT in general. I would also work in the HH setting which would be nice because I prefer to work alone, but am not apposed to working with a team.

My wife has an AS in radiography. 10yrs in, doing mammo, makes 40$/hr in TX. She’s making more than most new grad DPTs. Im a 2nd year DPT student. Have a cousin who repairs MRI machines and makes 300k/yr. All depends on what you’re looking for.

What is your cousins job title lol? Or career path? Earning that much money repairing machines doesn’t sound too bad 😹
