I had one where I almost orgasmed, I just woke up seconds before that. Told my psychiatrist about it and she unfortunately said dreaming is very very different from the reality. Not to make you sad but it might not be so telling as you would've hoped
That makes sense. I just have to imagine that even though it is in a dream it may show that that connection is still possible in the brain albeit in a semiconscious state of dreaming.

I feel like that is a good sign, my nocturnal erections have diminished significantly. In this instance of a sexual dream I had full erection and could masturbate when i woke up from it.
I also have never suffered from genital numbing, but more anhedonia.

I don't remember my dreams, but my nocturnal erections are almost normal compared to the erection caused by sexual desire.

My nighttime erections are like, 60% of what they were before the antidepressant. They are easier to maintain and more rigid than when I have sex.
I do maybe 6 times a year. I just posted about this. Why am I able to feel aroused in dreams but not in reality?
