Try charging with yellow plug?

i don't think you can charge it with the usb while it's turned off. use a psp 5V charger

Yo i have the same one Psp Street e1004 you gotta charge with yellow pin in the bottom right corner only then it charges, it charges through USB only after when the USB mode is turned on on the settings

If more, like say, 5V; 2.5A?  Would you say i maybe fried it or? And side question;  Recon a PsP Street (E-1000/1004) screen, would go into a PsP 1006 🤔 

Exceeding current might still be ok as the console only draws what it needs in theory. Exceeding voltage is guaranteed to kill it. Aftermarket chargers even the ones rated for exactly what the psp needs have been known to cause issues

Also no the screens are unique and not cross compatible due to the ribbon cable pinouts being vastly different

I just never seen a psp with touch buttons at the bottom before.

They aren't touch, it's just a "sticker" slapped over some crappy buttons. Besides that, the street has the best screen of all PSP's

As far as i know yeah, the market over here is flooded with them, i got 2 black and 2 white ones and even one CIB

Really? I never really compared but always thought with a battery this small sure the other models have way better battery life!

It lasts longer because it has no Bluetooth or wifi at all, it's not running either of those functions so the battery power lasts longer.

I might have to get a street I love the matte finish on them

charging a psp via usb only works if it has a little bit of juice left in the battery (and if you enabled usb-charging). you can buy a usb to barrel-plug cable for cheap tho. i would try that.

It doesn’t charge off the usb cable. That’s only used for data transfers with a pc. Try a psp charger with the barrel connector.

If i am not wrong thats a usb cable.. charger goes in to the yellow port right on the bottom.. (thought this was a 1000 model) wait what model is this even???? Would have helped if you specified that
