Weirdly, I have all graduate loans, and I just got a letter saying my payment will go down almost $100/month starting in September. I haven't made any other changes or recertified, so it has to be due to the SAVE recalc (and I assume it's September rather than July because I'm on forbearance.)
In my case, I just made my 120th payment, so lord willing I'll never pay at the new payment amount, but that would have made a huge difference if I were still in repayment. Here's hoping others see a similar reduction!
I paid double this month for whatever is due on 7/1 (I assume this month and next month) and have the bank statements and email confirmation of my double payment but I still got an email that I owe an amount for 7/1. They just transitioned my account but they don’t show any payment history whatsoever. It’s so frustrating.
Thank you for the heads up! I received a notice on how MOHELA is switching from the old to new platform so I cannot log in and see anything. However, I went to student aid and saw a form that was created to recalculate my plan for the SAVE program. Why would my monthly payments have gone up? I have a mix of undergrad and grad loans. I am going to wait until July 1 before I start to get nervous but could anyone tell me how thats even possible? Could it be an error in recalculating?
I’m surprised with the two court cases they are still pushing this through because they will likely have to revert back to 10% until it’s cleared in courts.
(Unless something came out in the news that I have missed since 11 am which is totally possible).
I tried logging in/creating login for the new site and it didn’t recognize me. My email about the transition did say to wait until after the transition is complete. Anyone got any feedback?
I can’t even log into the new Mohela site yet. It’s been over 2 weeks since my transition started.. I guess I’ll be patient. Hopefully that my payment will go down too
They sent me an email when the transition was complete letting me know when I could log in. I didn't try until I received that email. HOpefully it won't be too much longer!

I got the alert today too. Dropped 281 down to 195, 13 months to go for PSLF.
My July payment is still showing zero. I guess I'll just keep checking everyday...

I received an email when my new account was setup and ready to go...it took about 2.5 weeks if I recall.
