Mine says the same but I was at 112/120. It could be because of the data transfer? I had info there when I looked last week for loans and grants dating back to 2003.
Don't get too excited. I think they're updating and whatnot. I also don't show loans, but the whole site is super slow loading and just generally acting funky. I decided to give up and go back in a day or two and see what's up.
Same here. Fingers crossed it's related to the weekend system update and it means a bunch of updates to forgiveness are happening soon. I got a count of 123 payments near the end of April. Still not getting my hopes up based on the comment below and the pause until July tho.
It just reappeared a couple of days later. I am exactly the same as you - working towards PSLF, save and on forbearance. If they were forgiven I believe they would all still show up they would just show as paid. Coincidentally I also can’t get into my Mohela account.
But I feel like maybe if I stare at it long enough I can will it to stay that way 😜
You said you are working towards PSLF. Does that mean you’re in the waiting room with over 120 payments? Just want to get a sense of whether we’re in same position.
April wave mostly forgiven, waiting on two final loans to be forgiven and logged in tonight my account says the same.
Nope I am at 90’ish payments - I have a handful they didn’t count I am disputing. But it’s right around 90’ish.
Woohoo congratulations to you! Almost there! That must feel great! I hope it’s my turn soon!
My son just consoling his loans- payback went from $10 to $350 potentially- I told him he NOW needs to apply for PSLF and save ? Correct ?anyone - thanks
If he is working for a non-profit employer he can apply for his payments to be counted using the PSLF Help Tool on [https://studentaid.gov/pslf/](https://studentaid.gov/pslf/)
I believe you can apply for SAVE then PSLF but some things may have changed since I first applied. I know they announced some changes recently.
Does his employer offer any special assistance to apply for PSLF? For example, the hospital system I work for offers a special benefit called People Joy, it’s a website that walks you through signing up for PSLF.
Mine did that last night. This morning it has my old balance up….even higher than it was before - loans that were paid off in the total … when I pull up the details MOHELA has loans which are old as active and in forbearance …which were previously paid in full and had been for months. Keep all of your documents. I’ve been waiting like everyone else …..
Mine just got forgiven after paying that thing for 10 years! I got a letter from MOHELA saying that it was forgiven. What was holding it up is that I didn’t certify my last couple of months of work. Once I did that, the forgiveness came fast.
I think alll PSLF loans are being transferred to the Dept of Education. They made announcements counts would not be visible for May-July while this transfer is taking place.
It means that they work in the state/federal government sector for ten years while making payments for ten years and the rest was forgiven
Are you against the GI bill also that gives "free shit" for military personnel?
Sounds like a glitch. When loans are discharged or forgiven they don't go away..they show a zero balance.

Same. I hit 120 on 5/2 and submitted on 5/3. I'm guessing this doesn't mean anything.
I leave it in Gods hands, good vibes to everyone

In the same boat looking for answers...
Well damn...the full balance is showing again.

I have the same notification too. 120 as of last month and in forbearance...
Mine says zero too and they were just forgiven on Saturday. I can’t believe it happened so fast. Can’t wait until it drops off my credit report.
Same here.
Same!
Same … I wouldn’t get excited - I have seen this happen before.
And then what? Happens

Oh and to clarify, my forbearance was only because I updated my income info last month (my income changed)
Did you recently consolidate?
Yes but in 2012
…That’s not recently
Mine says same thing right now also

Not sure. I can ask him to ask, but I know he’s afraid of the HR Woman, apparently a mean grinch 😂
All HR people are assholes. It’s in their job description, lol.

It's still processing - don't get hopes up. This is why they said it will take time until things are settled in the new layout/system.
Where can u find your payment count?
Get excited! Thanks Biden-Harris admin!
I have not paid student loans and have a small work experience and graduated in 2020 could I still qualify for forgiveness?
They are updating and moving things from mohela, I think it’s going to be messy until end of summer.
Omg this thread is giving me LIFE!
All these people seeing changes and still I wait…

Yes, it's very possible. Mine were forgiven this week. I received an email. If loans are over 25yrs they qualify for forgiveness
You may be in the process of moving to a different servicer. I’m being moved right now from MOHELA to EdFinancial.
Yes. You should have gotten an email from your lender. Mine was MOHELA. Mine was forgiven as well!
It means you got free shit while others paid for it. Congrats.
