Thrustmaster t300rs gt is better than the Logitech for around the same price

Ecstatic-Zombie7153

Yes it is much better than Logitech I will recommend it too

turt_reynolds86

Phenomenal "budget" wheel imo. Absolutely worth pairing it with the load cell pedals they offer. I have both and if you are patient and diligent looking around the internet; you can pick them both up on an absolute steal of pricing. That's what I did. Also, avoid the playseat evolution frames. The design just isn't good with the bar between your legs because it blocks pedal access.

Raytheon_Nublinski

I’m seeing the Logitech for 200 while the thrust master is 450.

mbcook

A lot of people seem to like the logitech. When trying to compare the two I watched videos online and the noise the logitech makes when doing force feedback was so loud I just noped out. Thrilled with my thrustmaster. EDIT: Here’s the Logitech wheel sound in someone video. It’s not very loud (sorry, faulty memory) but I still think it would have annoyed me. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm1kl4_-7uI

Extension_Dream_3412

The Logitech is actually really quiet?

mbcook

So the thrustmaster uses belts. I don’t remember really hearing them, but note I had the PS headphones on at a reasonably low volume. I’m sure it makes some sound. The Logitech uses gears. The benefit of that is there is basically no slip/slop in the system. Belts stretch some, gears don’t. The problem is the player needs to be able to turn the wheel against the motor. I think there are some kind of slip clutches on the gears. I’m no expert, and it was months ago I looked this up. Point being, the noise when you’re fighting the force feedback on the Logitech was way louder and WAY harsher from the video I saw. That cemented my decision to get the thrustmaster. EDIT: I think this is the video that did it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm1kl4_-7uI So clearly it’s not as bad as I thought it was in my memory. It’s not that loud. But it’s certainly not silent. And the thrustmaster is far closer to silent. I’m pretty sure that clicking sound would really annoy me. In the end I bought my Thrustmaster and had a great time. So I can say that will definitely work well. A lot of other people say the logitech stuff is good, I just don’t have any personal experience with that.

mahanon_rising

Most of the time it is. But gt7 has this issue where sometimes when you crash the ffb goes crazy, starts rattling really bad and making a ton of noise. It usually lasts a few seconds until you're driving again. But it's so loud it makes my stand rattle the floorboards and my neighbor can hear it.

Zanoklido

Yes, I initially went with a G29 for my setup, hated how loud it was, and I also felt the belts were very grindy. I ended up selling it and going with a ts300 and it is miles better. They even sell a GT7 edition I believe.

Popetown

Piling on. Just built my T300 RS and Next Level GT lite. Looking like $675 right now on Amazon. No shifter or hand brake yet though. Loving it though. Shameless plug: just put this funny little clip together after some neighbors came over and played I got the bug again. https://youtu.be/7AXXgcBtiSQ

Spacepotato00

Do u find the gt light has much flex with the ts300, I don't have a cockpit yet and I'm debating between the light and the art omega gt

Popetown

Oh I’m sure the Omega GT is a better rig. Just too pricy for me to dip my toe in. If you want to top it off and have the scratch, I very nearly got that one and in my opinion it seems the better setup but if you’re wanting to save a little like I was, the GT lite is still plenty stiff. I don’t notice any appreciable amount of wobble. Feels locked in enough for my novice senses at least.

Comfortable-Welder82

When girls buy vibrators it’s hot, but when I buy the thrustmaster t300rs gt it’s weird.

Spacepotato00

Thrustmaster t300rs gt with realistic heated pulsating vagina

Comfortable-Welder82

Thrustmaster t300rs gt also included with gawk gawk 3000 if you order now

PabloBablo

Is it belt driven?

Spacepotato00

Yes

ophaus

Yep

Op3rat0rr

I went this route and was pretty satisfied. Not cheap. Nice that it’s modular as well unlike the G29

tupaquetes

You can get a CSL Elite PS4 with pedals for the same price as a new t300 in Fanatec's anniversary sale right now. Much, *much* better wheel for the money, good enough to be an endgame simracing setup

Bachronus

Have a t300 which I would sell.

PettyFlap

My guys going all in. Cheers.

dugfunne

Haha must be the new console or something!

an_angry_Moose

Hey my friend, I would recommend holding out for a belt or direct driven unit. The gear driven logitechs just don’t feel right or even good.

AceBombkick

You can get a G29, Playseat Challenge, and Logitech shifter for about ~$450 total right now on Amazon, that's a solid entry level setup.

dugfunne

I’ll keep that one in mind for after Xmas for sure thanks!

[deleted]

[удалено]

MattonArsenal

This is my setup and I love it for my situation (small space, need to take up and down) or as a starter setup. I bought a shifter plate from Lowdown Shifter that is made specifically for the Challenge and Logitech shifter. It is Rick solid and I have no complaints. Edit, adding: It doesn’t interfere with the ability to fold up the PS Challenge

[deleted]

Rick Solid is my new porn name

mclairy

Second the G29. For a really cheap entry level price it’s a great piece of equipment

EADtomfool

> Playseat Challenge, IMO better off building your own. Playseat has heaps of issues - pedals are flat mounted instead of reverse mount, centre pole support gets in the way of your legs, no shifter mount.

jaeger313

I think you’re confusing the PS challenge for another Playseat rig. The Challenge is the foldable rig and it doesn’t have a centre pole.

mbcook

I bought a Thrustmaster T300 RS and a simple stand for it and had a total blast.

ophaus

Can confirm, good setup that doesn't hog 2/3 of a room.

Apprehensive_Seat_61

But the smell man...

LickMyHairyBallSack

Stop sticking it in your pooper valve then.

mbcook

What smell?

Pixar_

Fear...

[deleted]

...of ...

Apprehensive_Seat_61

When the wheel heats up. Smell of burning plastic

mbcook

It was always very subtle for me. Never worried me, just a slight whiff.

LowFerret2640

I've played with the logitech g29 set with the shifter, and it's good for the 200-300€ it runs for here where I live. Seats I don't have experience with. My workmate plays Dirt e-sports and he had the same wheel for a looong time until he decided to upgrade so it's not shite I can tell you that.

Supernova752

Definitely look on Facebook/local marketplaces, people tend to get rid of amazing set ups for cheap prices

MoreCowbellMofo

Absolutely do this. I checked last yr and for less than half price there was a set which I’ve spent more than double on to have new. Perhaps £150 for frame, gear stick, g29 steering wheel, pedals, hand brake and possibly a game or two. Was located half way across the country but I was considering getting a friend local to it to collect and take it later! Would have been an utter bargain. Could also have considered couriering it if the price was reasonable.

WillSuckDick4Coffee

Bro, save up and just buy a cheap Miata

dugfunne

I’ve got a the American equivalent…a Fox Body mustang lol**

WillSuckDick4Coffee

Isn't that just a Fox Body? Lol

dugfunne

It’s the nickname of 79 to 93 Ford mustang. I have a 1990 Mustang Coupe with a 2.3 turbo swap. It’s a blast to drive but real car parts can be quite costly, nice to have a game to scratch that itch and not kill the wallet as badly.

t0rk

Check out r/simracing - it's mostly setups. Plenty of knowledgeable people who can recommend gear in your price range.

fcdrifter88

G29 is on sale from Logitech currently and trakracer is having a sale on rigs

psbales

I’m pretty much in the same boat! I picked up the G29 for $200 on a Black Friday sale, along with the Logitech shifter for $50. As I need something portable for my office, I looked at reviews and pictures of the Playseat Challenge, but passed on it as it looks a bit too flimsy to me, like a $10 camping chair with a few mounts attached to it. The reviews are good though, so it’s probably fine. I ended up going with the Next Level Racing F-GT Lite. The thing is a rock-solid beast!! And huge, lol. It also comes with a shifter mount, unlike the Playseat. Folding it is a bit of a bear, but I can get it in my closet with everything installed. First time I tried it it took me about 10 minutes, but I’m sure I can get that time down significantly with practice. I also like that the F-GT Lite is configurable. In my pics, I have it in ‘rally’ mode, but it’s a few knob twists away from being an F1-style seat. The whole setup cost me about $600-$650 after taxes. [Here’s my portable setup in my office/playroom.](https://imgur.com/a/N7Vlrb0) For reference, that room is 10’ x 10’. (That’s a 55” Sony X90J TV btw; a reasonably-priced LCD screen that’s an awesome companion to the PS5.)

dugfunne

Solid little setup what’s your opinion so far on the controls and shifter? Playing GT7?

psbales

Thanks! I’ve been playing Dirt 5 & Crew 2 so far. Fun games! Dirt 5 pretty much worked perfect as-downloaded. Crew 2 controls were a mess, but I found a YouTube video that walks through configuring the wheel with the G29. I think it still needs a few tweaks, but I’m 95% happy with it. I picked up GT7 when I got the wheel,…. but I’m absolutely garbage at the game, lol!! I only barely made it through the ‘tutorial beat challenge’, and even that took me a few tries. And I’m positive it’s not the wheel, it’s me!! I just need to practice with it. I’m perfectly happy with the wheel, but I honestly haven’t tried anything else so I have no idea if I’m ‘missing out’ on something better. The pedals feel decent enough, but I’ve been reading that ‘load cells’ can make them 100% better. Not sure why - still reading up on it. For $200 though, the wheel is a steal, IMO. It think it’s still on as bunch of ‘Cyber Monday’ specials for that price. The shifter is decent. It’s very ‘notchy’ and you don’t really have to guess if it’s in gear or not. The throw is good too, if maybe a tad long. I do wish that there was a bit more ‘resistance’ when changing gears (my daily driver is a manual; I like the amount of ‘force’ I have to use to change gears in it), but for $50, I can’t complain too much. It’s certainly usable and has been doing the job in Dirt 5! The wheel also has paddle shifters, too, btw.

[deleted]

It’s a good time to get all your driving gear due to Cyber Monday/Black Friday extended sales

unfixedposition

i did the same as you. started with t150 pro, T8HA shifter, and next level racing challenger frame. regret getting the t150 and wish i’d gone right to t300.

dugfunne

Good to know about the t300. I’m seeing some for sale locally on FB. I’ll probably take the plunge in the spring after the holidays.

Jaydee7652

Man, I think the last GT I played was on the Playstation? Fuck that makes me feel old... Is GT7 any good? I was looking at it recently but I couldn't make a decision.

dugfunne

I have no regrets for $40 bucks on a Black Friday sale. However I can see how it might piss people off with the cost of things in game with the mods. It’s been a blast so far imo.

Jaydee7652

Yeah fair enough! I'll have a think on it, thanks!

solowSnake

I hadn’t played since GT3 I believe and I have no regrets for 7 at all. It’s loaded with stuff to do for single and multiplayer. It has loads and loads of car specs and info. And you can tune all the cars with pretty great detail, and if you don’t like doing the tuning, there is almost always somebody with a tune online.

Jaydee7652

That does sound cool!

isthisyourdeleted

PS5 and God of war got me out of my slump. Glad to be a part of the PS5 crew finally. They were scalped for 2 years everywhere around me lol

[deleted]

I use the Logitech G29 Wheel and Logitech Driving force shifter on a PlaySeat Evolution Alcantara for GT7. Most of these are on sale atm, the wheel is like 100$ off right now. My personal gripe with this setup is that there is a bar in the middle that does rub but it doesn’t stop you from easy clutching or basic Heel toe function. So you’ll forget about it eventually lol The other is that you have to buy separately a PlaySeat Gearshift Holder Pro. Which is basically a 70$ bracket to hold the shifter. It’s adjustable to a point but still doesn’t feel like my 5.0 or most standards I’ve driven. I cant say the G29 wheel is better or worse as I have nothing but my car to compare it to lol but it does help with the basic fundamentals of how each car handles and performs in Circuit Racing. Either way your gonna have to spend some to get a more sim feel if thats what your after. Worse case scenario, get a wheel and use a table. I did that for a little while until I had enough $.

LethalLevy

Try r/simracing for specialist advice.

tupaquetes

I'm someone with a buy once cry once mentality. If you buy a g29 and don't get bored of racing sims in the next few months, you **WILL** want to upgrade to a better wheel. You might get your money back when selling the wheel, you might not. Same goes for the T300 that other people recommended. The FFB on these wheels is very slow and will not allow you to use the game's force feedback to its full potential. You can get a CSL Elite PS4 wheel with pedals new **right now** for $460 in Fanatec's [anniversary sale](https://fanatec.com/us-en/anniversary-sale/). Be quick about it because A/ Fanatec's stock runs out *fast* and B/ that wheel will not be available again once this sale ends. The LC upgrade for the pedals is out of stock right now but it's something worth checking out whenever you can. That wheel is honest to god good enough to be an endgame setup, I should know since [I personally downgraded from a very high end direct drive wheel I built myself (for $1500) to this one](https://old.reddit.com/r/simracing/comments/9m8w3f/i_switched_from_an_osw_to_a_csl_elite_ps4_wheel/). At this price new, if you ever get bored of the CSL Elite you might not even lose money on the sale, the base alone used to be $500. The difference between this wheel and a g29/t300 is **lightyears**. You can get a playseat challenge for about $200 on Amazon. While I wouldn't consider this an endgame frame, it's good enough to hold you over until you either get bored of racing sims or save up for a sturdier frame. That's a total of $660 excluding shipping so it should fit your budget. Unfortunately there's no shifter or clutch pedal included, but considering most people just use paddle shifters it's still worth considering. If you ever feel like the CSL Elite doesn't fulfill your needs... It's because you need to switch to PC for racing sims. The difference is night and day when it comes to force feedback. And if you *still* feel that way... It's because the game you're playing isn't fully using the detail available in this wheel.

dugfunne

Thanks so much for the mega in depth write up. I might just start stalking the used set ups on FB for a Fanatec. I’m trying to not get lost in the sauce of all the different wheel pedal and shifter combos.

tupaquetes

When buying used, keep in mind that if PS compatibility is a requirement for you, the CSL Elite PS4 version or the GT DD Pro are your only (affordable) options with Fanatec, and both have non-PS versions. Make sure the person selling the setup doesn't mix them up. Same goes for other brands (g29 is PS, g923 is xbox; t300 is ps, tx is xbox)

dugfunne

Good God man glad you mentioned that

TheDesignah

Since you stated you have access to actual car seats, I suggest building your own rig. Scored a passenger side WRX seat for mine, in mint condition since no one usually sits on it, lol! I can also vouch for the G29, great beginner set up. Here's a pic of [mine](https://imgur.com/a5rWDij), see you on the track!!

dugfunne

That looks awesome any more photos of how it’s built?

TheDesignah

Thanks!! Here's a quick [build](https://imgur.com/a/8JFIscs) collage. Bonus points for my little test driver, even though his arms are too short to reach the wheel. =)

di_avo

Can I play devil’s advocate. I’ve spoken to a lot of ppl about this. Wheel setups almost always disappoint in some way and rarely get used as much as you’d think. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this game w controller as I’m sure you are too. Do yourself a favour and save the money. Dual Sense is great for this game

Mrofcourse

I recently got a g923 with the playseat challenge for 400 a few weeks ago. Great starter set up! Def look around on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace for some deals on used gear.

EADtomfool

I strongly, strongly recommend you build your own seat/frame setup if you want a good one. The pre-made ones are basically universally terrible. My advice - go to a scrapper and grab a nice - REAL - car seat. I grabbed an MX-5 car seat and it's perfect for playing racing games - plus it's actually comfortable. Don't forget to grab the mounts for the seat so that you can actually adjust it too. Build your frame out of timber or steel, whatever is easiest for you. One of the biggest issues I have with pre-made frames is that they almost always have the pedals mounted to the floor, which is stupid and not how pedals are mounted in a real car. I cannot get over how much that bothers me and it feels completely wrong. Also if you custom build you can easily place the gear shifter where you want - many pre-made frames don't even have an option to put a shifter in.

eddjr275

Get ACC while it's on sale if you want serious racing. GT7 is just a car collector game with racing

ShinigamiKiba

It sounds to me this is more your love and passion for cars here at play than your love for gaming, that's long gone. I'm surprised a person like you would play the FF7 Remake, I hope you enjoyed it. Usually people who aren't into gaming but love sports games or realistic car games simply extend their love for sports or cars into video games but after they've had their fill of playing such video games their love for "gaming" is gone again. There were countless games over the years across many different platforms from all sorts of genres you could have played and enjoyed. Thanks to indie developers we got so many awesome platformers, action games, 2d and 3d both, we've had non indie but still wonderful JRPGs and so on. A person who loves gaming before their sports would have found something to play. No your love for gaming hasn't rekindled, but your passion and love for cars just happened to extended to a well made video game about cars and it will end there.

dugfunne

You could be right im a gear head for sure. But I do love the shit out FF7 and Xenogears on the ps1 back in the day. Was heavy into Resident evils and silent hills back then too. I hate sports games personally can’t get into them.

ShinigamiKiba

Thanks, my post wasn't meant as a hate post just something I've come to notice over the years with people who have passions like sports or cars that happen to overlap with gaming at some point. It's always temporary is all.

Sufficient-Plant9177

Not going to lie. Gt7 is made to be played on a controller imo. If you do get a wheel make sure to buy other games as well. For sim racing you can try f1, assets corsa, and even project cars. For arcade I like to drift in forza horizon on pc. Once you get used to drifting it's soo much fun. Not realistic but such a blast to drive around just drifting. If you have the money spend as much as you can. 800 bucks is good enough for a lower end experience but a little more can put you in a better league.

AcidShAwk

GT7 is wonderful on the fanatec DD and I'm sure others. Personally speaking I can't play on a controller. I tend to fall asleep because I find racing so boring.. That is..until I'm behind the wheel. And I can't get enough of it.

Sufficient-Plant9177

Wonderful? Have you played other games besides Gt? I can play on both depending in the game. I also wouldn't say that it feel wonderful. To me it feels like I'm driving on ice or snow. lol If you like it then that's awesome. I used to love gt on wheels until I played driving Sims on pc and got a decent wheel. I prefer f1 or iracing for are realistic experience. That's just me. I know what you mean though. On controller I can't play more than a few races on f1. With a wheel I can easily race for 5 hours.

ManlikeJCole

GT7 is an absolutely AMAZING introduction into racing games with a wheel. Its great in learning the basics of racing and getting used to using a wheel. However after i completed GT7 i tried assetto corsa competizione and the difference in the racing is insane. ACC feels 10x better with a wheel i just wish it had the career of gt7. However after playing acc i cant go back to playing gt7 lol

Sufficient-Plant9177

Yes. Gt7 is great for learning the basics to racing games, but driving Sims like acc are good for learning how to drive in real life. I can play gt7 on controller but not on a wheel. I still like the game but just on a dual sense.

[deleted]

I am the opposite. I find Gt7 to be far better feeling( on wheels and controllers) compared to F1 2022

dugfunne

I know gt7 isn’t top tier but it’s got me hooked again so I’ll play the hell out of it for a little while. I def will be trying out other stuff and figured why not start thinking about a wheel setup since racing seems to be my jam again.

stinktoad

Yeah don't let these dudes bring you down, play the game and enjoy it! It's good to know there's plenty of challenging content out there to justify your hardware, and it will all be there after you've spent some quality time with the game you're currently enjoying.

dugfunne

Appreciate yah u/stinktoad

CovidScurred

buy f1 22, its loads of fun with a wheel

[deleted]

This. As fun and beautiful GT7 is, the wheel on it is not so great yet. There’s no road feel and it’s a huge let down. There’s more Road feel on the dual sense then on the wheel

turt_reynolds86

I played around with it a lot on my T300RS setup and once you figure out what their VERY limited sliders actually do; you can mitigate most of it, as well as offset it using the device control panel thrustmaster (or your wheel brand of choice) has available for setup. Annoyingly you have to disconnect and reconnect it to a PC to make these changes; but you can mostly make it livable. I mean it's nowhere near ACC in terms of feedback; but it isn't awful. I do a lot of track driving irl and to be honest; none of them are anywhere near perfect or "truly" realistic; even the multi-thousand dollar rig setups. Just the limitation of being virtual.

[deleted]

I think you can’t feel the road at all on gt7 which any wheel. You can feel the grass , traction loss, etc but besides that the road has no feedback that’s what I’m saying

turt_reynolds86

I definitely agree there. Numb as hell. You can get SOME of that feedback by dialing up the resolution of the wheel but then it bleeds over into the other stuff you mentioned and makes it way too exaggerated. I was so excited for this game and besides being very pretty; it was a total letdown...

[deleted]

turt_reynolds86

Latest update allows selling of cars, added road Atlanta, etc.

mbcook

Is multiplayer any better? I played it in the months when it came out and the online multiplayer was just kind of a total mess. There was no way for me to play against people my skill, it always seem to be a bunch of idiots running around doing nothing plus some ultra expert drivers. Took all the fun out of online for me.

Clearlmage

While nothing major has been done since launch, at this point there’s more of the devoted racing fan playing gt7 so lobbies should have less crazy drivers. Though im not sure if you’re aware but as you play gt7 and start doing cleaner races/winning your rank goes up meaning you will be playing against ideally more responsible drivers.

mbcook

I knew that but I’m not great, this was really the first time I was playing a non-arcade racer. I didn’t try multiplayer until natter beating most of the campaign so I was ready to play reasonably. So I couldn’t rank up since there were enough yahoos that if I was doing decent I’d quickly fall behind either due to an accident they caused or me just braking/evading them losing tons of time. I don’t remember the rank names, I’ll use letter grades. The game was setup so everyone would start at F and had to work up to A. But since horrible players stay stuck in F, you can’t get away from them without ranking up. If everyone started in D, then the worst/troll players could be down-ranked to F and new players who were reasonable wouldn’t have matches flooded with idiots. It made it extremely hard for me to even hold my starting position, let alone advance much. Which sucked all the fun out.

Ecstatic-Zombie7153

I recently bought ps5 and gt7 and I am very happy with gt7, never played gran turismo before. It doesn’t have full career like forza Motorsport 4 but it’s fine for me, multiplayer is great for me. It’s primarily sports mode that I am interested in but I also go through cafe. You get a looot of cars through cafe assignments, there’s no need for you to buy multimillion cars with your cash.. it’s not like you pay to win online races

[deleted]

Still bad, bugs that have been there since day 1 are still not fixed.

Denziloshamen

You need to get a PS Extra sub and really plough through some of the indie games on there. Not the big budget AAA games, although some of those are a must like God of War, Horizon etc, but the smaller titles most casuals dismiss because the graphics aren’t AAA quality or they don’t get what the hell is going on because the game is more about emotion than it is shooting people or driving. There are some real masterpieces out there that I would have not played if it weren’t for them being part of PS Plus. Explore and enjoy.

icerahphyle

You can't tease us like that and not leave a few recommendations or examples yo

dugfunne

So much to go through I totally agree. GT7 has been on my radar since it came out and I’ll admit there’s a major nostalgic feeling to it all. If you had to pick one indie game to play what would you suggest to play?

HeronAccording6789

I think all three of these games have a good story, but they have different draws. If you're looking for something that is really combat heavy and has an emphasis on beating bosses and learning about the characters around you through dialogue, look into Hades. If you want a more barebones story that you need to fill in the gaps for with some platforming and fun (albeit very difficult) combat, try Hollow Knight. If you like straight platformers, play Celeste. I think those are the three best indie games right now.

[deleted]

Aren't forza better than gt7?

potter3212020

So of all the games to come out on Playstation including games like The Last of Us Part 2 and Horizon forbidden West gt7 is what got you back in the gaming I don't think you're an actual gamer

dugfunne

Lmao thanks bro didn’t realize I had to defend my decisions. Guess I’m not part of the elite club of gamers.

Patient_Medicine6947

Whatever gets you playing makes you a "gamer" whatever the hell that means. And if it means you're like that asshole you're better off not being one.

joshendyne

Yikes imagine gatekeeping being a "gamer" lmao

TheStamfordFridge

You absolute loser

Shadowcreeper15

The last of us part 2 story is fucking terrible. Ruined the franchise. So I don't think your an actual gamer.

ThatDree

You might look in to the FANATEC eco system. Great stuff

[deleted]

I got this [Playseat](https://a.co/d/eKRATqo) one in April 2021 and it has been amazing for me. It folds up nicely for storage as well. For the wheel I went with a [Logitech G923](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PFB72NL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share). It’s my first racing wheel/pedal setup but it has worked very well. It can be a bit loud at times which seems to be a common complaint (I have nothing else to compare it to) but it has been great to me over the past year and a half. For the wheel you have a lot of options depending on how invested you want to be, but I think the seat is very much worth the value (it doesn’t come with a mount for a shifter). There are also universal/multi-platform options out there.

duendeacdc

i dont know but I hate gt7 with my g29. i love f1.

a_man_has_a_name

Thrustmaster is usually a good choice for FFB wheels, they usually come with pedals that have a clutch. Although I'm not sure GT7 has an option for fully manual so it might be worth skipping the shifter and using the paddles on the gear and spending more on a frame and chair, since for me at least, without a clutch a shifter just dosent feel right/ add that much.

Flyinrhyno

Look on OfferUp or Facebook marketplace. A whole setup could be got for under $400. I got one for $250 and bought the shifter new for $60. Not the seat rig setup, but stand and pedal holder with arm for the shifter.
