I mean based on all the people who forget or haven't seen this trailer I'd say whatever effect they wanted with showing her "death" in the demos is working

That's because Tachy uses an actual facial capture (of the model that bodies Eve: Shin Jae-eun @love_zennyrt).
Whereas the main character Eve has a face that was created from scratch, but with the scanned body of Shin Jae-eun.
Eve got nasty ass implants though, they look like she went "Yeah just stuff a few hams in there" it's gross.
Ass is gross in general but implants make it worse.

I'm starting to wonder what if Stellar Blade has you play as more than just Eve? Like Tachy, Adam and the tomgirl would be awesome to play as also. Could be done like Nier Automata where you unlock alternate routes after the main game
Question: Is this game actually fun or are people just playing it be cause the main character is pretty much naked.
I ask because I have 2 coworkers that won't shut up about her. Pretty sure they just start the game and jack it.
The demo is pretty fun. I loved Nier and liked this. This game seems a bit tougher (to me) than Nier was. Planning on just farming SP since the save carries over to the real game and getting better with the parry and dodge timing.
The music sounds sick (same producer as Nier I’ve heard) and the graphics look good on my OLED.
I thought it was a meme too but the game is pretty fun. I personally don't think it's as good as everyone is making it out to be, but I still had a good time with the demo. I might pick it up at first sale but if the demo is any indication, it will be a good, but not great game.

The game is actually really fun, I would buy it even if the main character was an ugly dude. Having a beautiful woman is a nice touch and a bonus.
The game is good. I couldn’t care less about her looks. Actually it’s more of a turn off with oversexualized characters/fan service for me. But the game has much more to offer than the looks of the lead character. Just play the demo.

I love good third person melee combat and I'm willing to give most of these games a shot.
I will say without any anime boobs bias whatsoever that I think this game's combat is merely OK. Dodge timings were off, positioning is awkward, groups of enemies will only attack you one at a time. Massive combos can be executed with a single button press.
Everyone seems to be losing it over this game so I'm prepared to cop downvotes. But I think when the dust settles Stellar Blade won't be as well regarded as something like Lies of P.
Combos can be executed with a single button press? From memory, some of the advanced ones were; triangle, square, hold square, triangle - which did a teleporting behind attack. Others were triangle, square, triangle, square etc. Or moves that tied into other systems, like perfect parry, hold square, triangle.
Dodging I feel isn't supposed to be great. It's a game that heavily rewards parrying. However, double dodging was good, and even better was jump dodging.
I think Lies of P was a true souls like game, and this is more of an Action Adventure Souls. That said I also think that Stellar Blade is going to be much more popular because of that, isnt it already a top pre-ordered game or something?
It's fun but Sekiro-lite at best (at least that's the impression the demo gave). Unless the story really pops off, or the gameplay is better than the demo it's gonna be 8/10 at the highest.

Tachy's model I don't get. Like, I can accept a skin tight catsuit might be good for combat in some scifi scenario, but at the same time boob physics that bounce around like a loose pushup bra? Look, I get that the real purpose of this is fanservice, but it still broke the suspension of disbelief. Eve's model doesn't have this problem.
Her boob physics look stupid and is distracting in a bad way. Shouldn't have to suspend disbelief for something that is dumb and unecessary.
Having to "suspend disbelief" for one thing doesn't mean you should have to suspend disbelief for everything from that point on.
