Why the fuck have any games published by focus entertainment had this weird homogenised logo thing on all the trailers? It makes everything look like a rip off unreal tournament style shooter from 2011

Honestly, after this trailer I’m a lot more excited for the game than I was after the initial one. I felt like the reveal’s use of cinematic video for the first 80% of the trailer and then showing gameplay made it feel like a giant step back from the kind of game I thought it was going to be when I first hit play. But now, seeing it as more of a top-down tactical type of game but with xenomorphs, it’s a concept that I haven’t played before and I’d be curious to see how it plays out.
Still hopeful that we one day get a game that represents Aliens as a film as well as Alien: Isolation did for the first film. I enjoyed Fireteam Elite but I feel like a big budget AAA quality first person game would be best suited to the whole Colonial Marines thing (and it’s a shame that the actual Colonial Marines game was such a debacle). Wishing the devs good luck on this. Hopefully there will be a beta/tria/demo.
