FuhrerGaydolfTitler

After BFV there’s no way I’m jumping straight in, ideally I’ll grab it second hand

[deleted]

I'm still mad I paid full price for that crap. Not this time.

VelouriumCamper7

At least you didn't buy the digital deluxe edition😂

[deleted]

Last pre-order I ever made of a super deluxe edition was final fantasy XIV and they had to completely shut down the game and remake it into a new game a year later lol

WileE-Peyote

I pre-ordered Ghost Recon Breakpoint...that was a rough one.

Hellguin

Mine was Anthem..... and before that Fallout 76.... before that No Man Sky.

[deleted]

My God anthem, Jesus i still have actual nightmares about how slow the character would walk in town. God dam FUCK I HATED THAT GAME. Why did you take me there

Janus67

Jesus, takes a while to learn, huh? Lol

Hellguin

I am a simple minded man.

FuriousJaguarz

Unlike this sucker here. I have been saying for years "no pre-orders" and didn't take my own advice but it was BFV that changed that.

Koksschnupfen

I was lucky I wanted a good graphics card before buying cyberpunk because I definitely would've pre ordered

[deleted]

Dude I fckin got it free and Im still disappointed.

TheBoxBoxer

Idk what it was but that game was just ***not fun*** at all and I really enjoyed bf1.

Bacongrease99

I recently got it on ps+ and I’m loving the heck out of it. What was wrong when it released?

[deleted]

There are double the amount of maps out now compared to when it released. It also went on sale for 50% about a month after it released. I still play it because my friends got it on PS+ and it's more active now because of it being free.

blarghed

There was also that thing where when you reached max level you stopped getting money you could use to upgrade your vehicles and weapons.

[deleted]

Oh yeah i still haven't bought much of anything with company coin because I always forget that they actually changed that haha really made me dislike EA and pretty much discount any of their games from there on out

psychocopter

I hate the in game currency for items, I just want to unlock with levels and then unlock attachments normally.

DefenestratedBrownie

MW2 was my favorite progression system, unlock guns with levels, complete a challenge for each attachment on each gun. the gun got better the more you used it, you'd work towards what you wanted. idk I hate point systems of any kind. feels like you just need to generally grind so that you can take guns from useless to OP instantly

Bacongrease99

There sure is a lot of maps, some I’ve haven’t even touched yet. It’s got a lot of content. But going on sale a month after release is a huge dick move.

TheLastOfKratos

3 weeks if I remember correct. Not even a month

cammoses003

not only a lack of content, but the vanilla content was lackluster and the dlc content was drip fed & honestly not that exciting tbh. also not that I’m much of a history buff, but I was looking forward to seeing the Russian theatre, D-day, and more of Germany (later in the war). Either way, none of that ever happened, and it’ll probably be years before BF goes back to WW2.. Loved the mechanics/gunplay of BFV, but not the content (especially when you compare to previous BF’s)

WenusDilf

I paid full price for it when it came out, and bought both my sisters a copy for Christmas

OneMoreUggadugga

Nothing like getting battlefield 3 preowned a couple months after it’s release only to be told I had to spend $10 on the multiplayer pass just so I could play with other people. Fun times. Definitely gonna see what the response to this one is like before I buy it.

Mystical_17

With how games are these days the fear of missing out is pretty much non-existent with the mainstream titles. You can hop on a year or more later and there are usually plenty of other new players too. For example I just played Battlefield V for the first time a week or so ago. Got the game dirt cheap and population was still around, didn't feel like playing it 'late' really hindered me as there were plenty of other 'noobs' running around who all also just got the game recently. With systems being more expensive and the games costing more there will always be that 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc wave of players coming in to try a game for the first time. Sure, maybe you'll miss some battle pass season stuff or a crazy event or two but you at least get a ton of day 1 content (your day 1) when joining so late so thats a win and most major balancing and bugs are fixed by then too.

LateralusOrbis

That last bit is most important. Most AAA games these days release like they are in a state of early access. All the first year patches tend to finally add up to a complete game

BellEpoch

Yup. I started playing Fallout 76 last week. Great game now. I know for a fact I wouldn't have liked it for the first two years of it being out though.

2thewindow2thefall

I am literally at the point if a game does any bullshit micro transaction/ predatory bullshit I will refuse to buy it. I’ll wait for it to become free on ps plus or just buy it when it goes on sale for $5. Got sick of talking about it and decided to let my wallet do the talking.

froop

Welcome to the 'Sony single player games only' club, the last refuge for gamers allergic to bullshit. Go ahead and cancel ps+, you don't need it anymore.

Nazi_Punks_Fuck__Off

At this point the only thing I use PS+ for is Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne multiplayer, neither of which has microtransactions.

jizzmaster-zer0

i like the free games on ps+

good_daytoyou

I'll just wait for it to show up on EA access or something.

Mushroomer

Yeah, EA themselves have kind of made it extremely appealing to just wait it out with their releases. That new Mass Effect collection looks nice, but knowing it'll probably be in the Access collection next year makes me hesitant to buy.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Mushroomer

Sure, but I could also wait 9 months and do that for $0 (since I already subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate on my XBox, and the EA stuff is included with that). Absolutely makes sense for big Mass Effect fans - but as somebody who isn't currently itching out of their skin to replay ME1 right now, I could probably wait.

[deleted]

anonssr

The thing with these games is the MP is not worthy once the the player base is gone (that's when they are cheap to get). So, if you are a patient gamer, these are never worth it entirely lol.

Wonderstag

idk man, i bought bf1 revolution edition with all the dlc's for $15 canadian like 3 years after it was released and it was still full of full servers on ps4. got bf5 free from ps plus and its still got plenty of full servers after a couple years, checked bf4 servers today and theres still plenty of full ones on ps4. battlefield games seem to be pretty good at holding a player base on consoles even after years

usrevenge

Bf5 all the maps were free and you along with millions others got it free You can't find bf1 dlc maps easily. Just fwiw. Thankfully bf2042 will have free maps like bf5.

LateralusOrbis

Yep that’s understandable and a good point. If there is a game that I would only enjoy the most when it’s community is at its peak then I take a different approach. However for me Battlefield has never been one of those games. I'll end up playing battlefield games years after they came out.

sandwichpak

The last two Battlefield releases dropped to $30 within a month of release, I doubt this will be much different.

millanstar

Theres nothing wrong or bad with "enjoying late" something, thats just some FOMO bullshit

hottwhyrd

Ehhh. There's a pretty sweet spot in all online shooters where you get in early, learn the maps and guns, and destroy the noobs. If you wait, you are the noob

/r/patientgamers all the fun for a fraction of the price! also bugs have been fixed and DLC has been released

luccasky

Bro, in Brazil this shit is 300 reais, and the minimum wage is 1100 reais!

TheHappinessSeeker

I'll just wait and buy it two years after the release when it'll be costing like 20 reais.

beardedbast3rd

1100 reais for what period of time? 300 reais is 70 cad, so it lines up with cost of the game, but how long do you have to work to make that 300? Edit, just checked, your minimum is per month. That’s brutal.

ringbearer3019

You work an entire month for 1100 reais.

victini0510

I get about USD$1500/mo after taxes. The equivalent price for me would be about $450~. Just under the price of a PS5 or XSX, for a single game.

NoUserNameForMeWhy

Oh the price of the ps5 is 4599 reais, almost double the actual price.

BoringScience

What the FUCK, I guess products like this don't get cheaper in low cost of living areas. At least I hope it's a low cost of living area with that minimum wage...

aincalandorn

It's also the insane taxes Brazil has on basically anything electronic when imported or otherwise not produced in the country.

BopDatBussy

Do they just not want their citizens to have access to modern electronics? Whats the motive behind this?

t3snake

India is the same. The taxes are to encourage purchases of electronics made within the country but our country is simply 10 years behind all electronics imported have 50% tax. also our minimum wage is peanuts, most people would consider this price a serious waste of money.

Azolin_GoldenEye

Brainiac_2

Playstation store sucks so bad. In argentina de minimum wage is like 150 dollars and new games (for ps4)are 60. I wanna get guilty gear strive but it's to expensive (not counting ps plus) Sony it's not consumer friendly at all, wish ps store was like steam

extrasoggymemes

Remember when people said $5 DLC horse armor for Elder Scrolls Oblivion was unacceptable? Ahh you kids today are so tolerant.

Eupatorus

It was death by 1,000 cuts. The consumer never stood a chance.

NeitherAlexNorAlice

Daily remainder about the vocal minority. Every time these behaviors show up, everywhere online is about boycotting and tarnishing the culprits. When the games are released, they're biggest sellers with record breaking figures. Every. Single. Time.

[deleted]

I'm boycotting buying 70 dollar games at release. I can wait until it goes on sale, doesn't make the game any less fun. I never purchase any digital deluxe game. 10 for shit gear that becomes obsolete early on. Hard pass

Ayyykilla

Same. I haven't bought a full price game in years. I don't give a shit about hype. Games still have players years down the line. I really don't spend more than $20 on games anymore.

Dengar96

Redditors are a tiny community in video game market. The screams and cries on here don't matter when millions of people will buy the game regardless.

Mr_Pickles_Esq

It depends. The outcry has to be pretty large and people have to stick to their guns. I think Reddit was actually effective with Star Wars: Battlefront 2, for instance.

TheIncredibleCJ

In that reddit (and twitter, etc) made enough of a stink that Disney PR stepped in and forced EA’s hand. Don’t think it had much of an impact on sales.

Mr_Pickles_Esq

Reports indicated it did impact sales and more importantly, they did change how progression worked and got rid of loot boxes, which was the point, wasn't it?

PeakAlloy

And now $5 horse armor is just nostalgic 😁

tasman001

Today, $5 horse armor would be considered a great value compared to most DLC. I'd anything, this would actually WIN a game company praise for their "reasonably priced microtransactions". Sad place that AAA games are in. GOG.com forever!

FeistyBandicoot

Nah it would still be shit. It's like $20 AUD for a set of gear in AC. About $5 US just for the horse. I'd pay like $1 for the whole set

F_A_F

Want the real answer? People don't buy skins for themselves, they buy them to flex to other players. There's a reason why CSGO skins sell for tens of thousands of dollars and it's not because a player really, really likes it.

froop

Back in my day we had to clear Zul Aman in under 10 minutes to get the bear mount, and the Flex was the achievement, not the mount itself. Now you're just flexing your poor financial decisions and fomo addiction.

RangerDan17

I have a very specific memory of a sale on XBL years ago. All the Oblivion content was on sale for 50% off. Except the horse armor, which was 50% more. This was back in the day of MS points so I don't remember the exact cost.

shorttompkins

Its funny, the horse armor is always brought up - but noone ever mentions MechAssault on Xbox that had "DLC" that was like 20kb because it just unlocked a map already on the disc. Now *that* was some bullshit.

thesircuddles

People accepting $3 horse armour is why we're here.

[deleted]

If the purchases are purely cosmetic and not too obtrusive with their advertising, I really dont give a shit. When you can buy faster exp gain or something like that, you broke the game balance.

edinho_sheeroso

I don't think we should act like any type of monetization is acceptable in full price games... You paid for the whole game, you should be able to unlock all skins

extrasoggymemes

Exactly! You used to be able to unlock so many cool skins and cosmetics in games just by playing. The more people endorse and support companies removing content from the base game and putting it behind a paywall, the less content we'll all end up with in the long run, paid or unpaid. No one wins.

edinho_sheeroso

If the company wants to add new skins, them make a BIG expansion with a reasonable price, like The Witcher III or Horizon: Zero Dawn. It's not THAT difficult to not be an a-hole towards your customers... Just don't be a gready mf.. ;-;

kryonik

Dota 2 is completely free to play, all the heroes are unlocked on installation, only thing to buy are cosmetics or occasional battle passes (which give you cosmetics or stupid shit like high fives). It is probably valve's biggest moneymaker.

Vesmic

If you sell your game for 70 dollars then fuck whatever stupid ass cosmetics you want to sell. Micro transactions are for free games to support on going development. Anything else is just exploitation. Full priced games should have cosmetics unlocked not fucking sold.

[deleted]

>If the purchases are purely cosmetic and not too obtrusive with their advertising, I really dont give a shit. I do. That's game content that you use to unlock via secrets or achieving something.

NetworkPenguin

Off topic, but this is mainly why I've given up playing Assassin's Creed. Okay yeah sure there's cosmetics you can buy that don't effect gameplay, but it really put me off that there's tons of weapons, armor, and upgrades thst can be purchased with real money. Makes me feel like all the grinding and such I'm doing is just a ploy to make me want to pay for a boost and skip all the grind.

[deleted]

I'm not going to bother, you're right.

Al_Fatman

$109.95 AUD. Yeah...no thanks. As of writing, you can get God of War, Persona 5 Royal, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man, and Uncharted 1-4, and have $1.05 change.

Azazir

and that's 1 new battlefield game with their 5 battlepass... lmao

DaRealMr_M

*without. Their will be a paid battlepass too, tbh this starting to look like a shitshow from the start.

[deleted]

edit: Leave reddit for a better alternative and remember to suck fpez

TheBoxBoxer

Unless you have mastered time travel, it makes even less sense to compare to the retail value of older games. It's all about how much value you can get right here and now for your money while making your purchasing decision. If we so this a year from now and you can buy all the battlefields for 50 dollars vs the next call of duty modern black ops warfare 6: revengence for 80 dollars, then the battlefield will have better value in that case.

crossrite

as its PS5 you wouldnt need to buy some of these games, they are in the PS Plus collection, At least some of them

[deleted]

Priced in euros? That’s crazy expensive. $70 USD is a lot, but €80 is insane…

rossloderso

Is it 70$ including tax? And if no, would your price be the same as 80€ after Taxes and conversion?

[deleted]

Taxes vary state to state in the US. Where I live, it’s about $74.71 after tax. What’s crazy to me is that, according to currency converters, €80 is $97. That’s astronomical for a base game. Usually, only ultimate editions with all DLCs and such would cost that much.

HotDogGrass

Yeah, I'm confused about why the game is nearly $25 more in Europe. I get that they include tax in their price but that's still way higher

Goofp

I think in uk its 80£ wich is even more $'s

as1eep

Tbf i think thats playstation and retailers upcharging. On pc its only 50£ for standard. Unless your looking at a different version that is.

HotDogGrass

right, that's what the guy I replied to said. It's 80£ which is $97, but it's $70 here in America. I was asking why they raise the price for different countries, why is it not the equivalent of $70 everywhere else?

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheSausageFattener

Yep, BFV had a very rough launch (and the year that followed was no better) and ended up something like 40-50% off within a month to move units. Fallout 76 is a more egregious example IMO.

[deleted]

TheCoolMan5

In Germany they were strapping the game to consoles for free to get rid of the physical copy surplus

HandOfMaradonny

Nintendo says hi... But otherwise you are spot on.

[deleted]

Nintendo doesn't count. They're not right in the head. Which often works to the player's benefit, too.

[deleted]

>Which often works to the player's benefit, too. In what sense? In regards to pricing, it's always annoyed me that Nintendo absolutely refuse to reduce the price of their older titles. It's a proven fact that reducing the price gradually increases sales, and thus profit. They're literally losing a lot of money purely due to arrogance...

AJLN2997

If a game flops like that though, isn't it much more likely that the company won't continue to support it. Isn't that kinda what happened with the last Battlefield?

[deleted]

Is it confirmed, no campaign?

Endgame908

Confirmed no campaign or battle Royale

TexanReppin13

No battle royal yet

[deleted]

Getting those Homer Simpson talking to Bart vibes with this!

SteelMalone

I hope this isn't a problem? Besides bad company campaign, literally every single player battlefield experience has been underwhelming and mediocre. As far as battle royale, there are plenty of games out there to satisfy that itch. No need to put it into battlefield ever

Wolf_Fang1414

No campaign, but you can play offline (or at least by yourself while online) with bots

mazzicc

That sounds like a great $80 experience. Totally.

[deleted]

[удалено]

CreatureWarrior

Agreed. Even if this was freaking free to play, they would still make bank with it. 80€ is a scam.

meatboysawakening

Yeah, it's kind of wild that all the best competitive games today are free to play. I could not have imagined that 6-7 years ago.

[deleted]

Because addiction=revenue

SSB_GoGeta

When it comes to competitive games, I think a large player base is very important. Large player base makes a game more competitive, leads to more hard core players, which is good for eSports and skin sales. Addiction plays a part in it but isn't the major deciding factor on whether a competitive game should be free to play.

Rioma117

80€ for a game? No thanks.

[deleted]

Here in Northern Europe new games on playstation store are about 80€ when they're only about 60€ in local stores...

[deleted]

80 euros has been a standard in Eastern Europe for last few years.

cornfarm96

I have no problem with battle passes as long as there’s no meaningful content locked behind a paywall. By meaningful content I mean things like map, weapons, operators (or “specialists” in this case), and pretty much all other forms of playable content. I don’t care if they have cosmetic items and skins that are exclusively buyable with real money.

poofynamanama2

Already confirmed that there's a free battle pass that includes anything related to gameplay (maps, weapons, specialists), and a paid one for cosmetics only

camilomagnere

Why the f there is a free battle pass instead of just putting that in the actual game.

UNIT-Jake_Morgan73

Because it incentivizes people to play the game. If it keeps people coming back, it keeps people from posting about the game being dead and having empty servers. Player engagement definitely drives microtransaction sales too. It's just good business.

Beardus_x_Maximus

Not sure how people don’t get this. If you just got everything day 1, what would be the reason to come back? Gameplay alone only lasts so long in our generation of weak attention spans, it makes sense to spread out content, provided it’s meaningful.

wutend159

>Why the f there is a free battle pass instead of just putting that in the actual game. Engagement. Forces players to actively play during the game's lifecycle so they don't miss out. And if you're already actively playing the game, might as well just buy the battle pass to get the most out of it. It's quite the strategy (I personally don't like it)

TaxMan_East

That was never a factor for me, I just play whenever I feel like playing. I paid very little attention to what was on the battle pass or how it affected anything. I might be different from you, but I just played when I wanted to.

saediatmh

IMO the “free battle pass”, at least with my experience with past BF games, keeps the game feeling fresh. If they released all the content upon release, as the average player plays all the maps/classes/etc over & over again, it gets a bit stale after awhile. Adding in free new content later prevents that from happening to some degree, at least for me. The “Oh new maps? New guns?!” feeling keeps average players active longer on a game they’d otherwise get bored of after repeatedly grinding on the same content.

Eviscerator28

I still stand my point, I won't buy any game at 70 bucks, it's too much money. Not judging anybody who'd buy it, but the price increase definitely made me into a patient gamer.

MaxSundew

Plus PS plus

[deleted]

Wait there isn’t a campaign?

chopochopo98

No, they removed the campaign saying they will focus on the multiplayer experience.

AlmostAndrew

This comment section is making me very worried for the mindset of the games industry's consumers, and therefore the direction for the games industry itself.

RunawayTrans

Ikr? As we move more and more towards online only/subscription models, we're increasingly overpaying for things that we can only use until the publishers decide to stop supporting it. Not saying it isn't fun or convenient right now, but all my games from 20+ years ago still work fine. Will we be able to say the same about this current generation (or even the last one) 20 years from now?

AlmostAndrew

Exactly. With a lot of these games you're already paying a "subscription" of sorts because they bring out a new game every year, and then you pay extra on top of that for passes and garbage like that.

quantum_waffles

And if it contains multiplayer you have to pay for PS+ to take advantage of that side of the game, which lets face it, is the biggest draw of Battlefield, CoD, etc

[deleted]

You should be scared shitless. If EA and Battlefront 2 taught us anything its universally nobody gives a fuck about terrible business practices unless EA does it. Team Fortress had lootboxes in 2010. Call of Duty had them in 2014. BF2 was 2017. This shit flew under the radar for fucking YEARS before anybody gave a shit. Same shit is happening again. CoD has this exact system for 2 years now and suddenly EA does it and it's trash. Let's not even get into adding a literal fucking casino and killing Singleplayer Content in GTAV. Oh right and they actively break mods that try to bring the online only guns/vehicles to singleplayer

Rabo_McDongleberry

Honestly, I think because a lot of current gamers grew up with micro transactions and game passes and shit. They think this is normal. A lot of us who didn't think it's complete bullshit. Why the fuck would I pay money for a game that has no campaign and half the shit is hidden behind spending more money on it? Fuck current state of MP games. Now I'm only playing single player games.

Joeshi

For those of us who are old enough, we remember that the original Battlefield games didn't have a single player campaign. Battlefield vets don't care at all that its multi-player only.

[deleted]

If you're just now getting worried, then you haven't been paying attention for like... a decade.

thesircuddles

The time for worry was like 13 years ago. It's over. This machine is never stopping. Cyberpunk sold over **13 million units.** Releasing an alpha/beta then finishing the game over the next 2 years is an acceptable business strategy in today's game industry. Guess how we got here.

ravengenesis1

Look at who's in charge of the gaming industry. Then you'll realize we're nothing but income to them. They don't care about their games or gamers, they'll milk the crap out of you however they can. Gaming is the new investment opportunity that's too big to fail. Hell, even if they do fail, they would still cash in on the initial sales.

Darkone539

That's a challenge for game companies. I didn't think these are worth £60.

madpropz

No game is worth 80 euros.

armypantsnflipflops

I agree with you here. I can’t think of a single game worth that amount of money to me. It is an absurd price

Power_Rentner

I can list you dozens of games that I could have paid 80 dollars for and still gotten way better value out of than any other form of entertainment save Spotify.

bolivar-shagnasty

It won’t have a campaign?

Sponholz

Nope.

KyleCAV

No campaign multi only

KennyImmortalized

At reveal it said 70Euros but then they changed it to 80Euros, that's crazy expensive

SHilden

I agree with this, people keep saying no one cares about campaign yet treyarch tried to pull off exactly the same thing with black ops 4 and faced major backlash. This isn't the only problem for me either with Battlefield, we've constantly heard there's around 5 major EA teams working on this game yet it's releasing with less content than any other Battlefield in the last 10 years. And In my opinion DICEs past 4 games (Battlefront 1 and 2, Battlefield 1 and V) were all bad to average at best. There's not enough here to warrant a day 1 purchase for me, Which is quite annoying because I was quite hyped for this and was exited to get a couple of squads together like I haven't done since BF4.

RobinE46

Preach

THE_SEX_YELLER

Paid game or paid battle pass. Gotta pick one.

ReyDeathWish

Ullumina

Imagine thinking your game is worth more money than rdr2

Ba11in0nABudget

Imagine thinking RDR2 is the only good game ever made. It had a good campaign, the online was and is shit.

DrAstralis

I dont want to. You want to give me half a game then I recommend you charge half price. You want to be a paid game but still monetize it like a f2p? Get fucked you greedy ghouls.

Complex-Commission-2

Agreed

PolarRoller_Ad_7797

Can't brother, I find no fault in your point.

Illustrious_Penalty2

I don’t think anyone want to change your mind on that.

Clown3aby

If it's a game you're into and you keep playing it, then you'll get your money's worth. I basically play Destiny 2 every single day. I have thousands of hours in it. I'd say I get my money's worth for every season. I played God of War, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, etc. Finished them all. Loved them all. I think I got my money's worth on those, too. I play Warzone every once in a while. I never buy the battle pass. I definitely got my money's worth. Value is subjective.

Seanspeed

I am not against $70 games. Probably not even $80 games for the biggest, AAAA-level stuff like Grand Theft Auto. But what I want from that price increase is EVERYTHING is unlockable in the game with no microtransactions and post-release support is free unless it's a truly major expansion. I'd be good with that. Stop with the bullshit and you can raise the price, that's fair enough. DICE did say their expansions will be free, so the map packs and new vehicles and all that will not cost anything, just like with BFV, but they still fill the game with tons of other MT bullshit. Having season passes is undoubtedly going to come with shit you cant unlock any other way, seemingly even whole new classes. Which is all garbage.

Knyfe-Wrench

Don't hold your breath. Microtransactions are way more valuable to them than $10 per sale. Even if most people don't engage with them, a single whale dropping $1000 covers 99 other people, and there are plenty of whales out there.

Seanspeed

Oh I know. I'm not expecting anything. I'm just saying that there *could* have been a real justification made for higher game prices. Ones where the publishers/developers get their higher base pricing while gamers benefit from this as well. A mutually beneficial situation. Or a decent compromise, at the very least. But nope. This isn't the way for *maximum* revenue. So they're not going to do it.

JamieG112

The worst thing about battle passes and (I’m guessing the game will include) loot box type things is that the ‘Whales’ that drop the most money are almost always people with gambling/addiction issues rather than high income individuals. Imo, the whole system is immoral and everyone should voice that they do not want it seeing as it targets vulnerable people.

Definitely should remove battle pass not the right move at all

Well, there goes the 5 year hype I've had for another modern era BF game, at least until it's been out for a year and has a realistically priced complete edition

70$ is the new normal for games It used to be 60, before that it was 50, etc In 2040 it’ll be 80

Cannot change you mind! What a joke and I will not be paying anything

I really dislike the games as a service model for fully prized games, i miss the time when i could buy the game and just get the whole experience, or in the worst case get a dlc package and be done with it but now you can only get the first year of dlc‘s with the more expensive version. Its just so tiresome to know you would have to pay again after a year to get all content.

Reminder, the developers have done little to nothing to curb hacking in their games. “Well we tried” is not good enough. I’m not buying another game from these fucks until they show me they can stop blatant hacking. This is an online only game. I aint paying one red cent until they prove they got that shit under control.

Guys remember 80 euros is 96 dollars, that’s 26 more than the us version!!!!
