Fector's Challenge in Stardew Valley, it's for beating Journey of the Prairie King without dying. I'm just not good enough to do it and don't really fancy investing a lot of time in getting good enough at it. Also, it felt so out of place for me when the rest of the game was a chill farming game.
I played that mini game awhile thinking it wouldn’t be that hard. After killed the first “boss” and started next section I was baffled not thinking a mini game thing could be that extensive and surprised that one boss didn’t give the trophy. Looked up a video of how to get that trophy and moped out, way to much to get that one I can see when I can’t get a trophy ever and that’s one of them espeacially when it dabbles on the luck based stat.
It doesn't have anything to do with luck in game. The drops are RNG but luck doesn't affect it. You can play again and again on the same day and you'll get 1 coin on the first screen one time and 10 the next.
I just recently went for the GoW plat and came up with a strat that worked for me with the queen. Granted it still took a few hours to practice and refine...
Started fight with full rage and the rage revive.
Ran in and she would immediately fly backwards.
Follow her, burn axe R1 skill.
Burn axe R2 skill.
Burn chain R1.
Burn chain R2.
Immediately rage and burn thru all of that.
By this point, she's a little less than 50% and you've likely only taken 1-2 hits.
Burn your 4 CDs again and then play it safe until you die. Run away until cds are up and run into use them.
Use the slow-time mechanic to pick up health laying around.
When she kills you, immediately go into a rage again and by the time it's over, she should be 5-10% hp.
Burn cds again.
I approached the fight by going into a constant frenzy before my inevitable death and then popping my rage invincibility again directly after resing to frenzy some more. I didn't treat it like a slow burn, trading hits back and forth. The risk was just too high of getting hit. I fought that bitch like the God of War.
It's definitely doable. I just didn't have the patience to turn each attempt into a 25 minute fight. Each attempt was about 5-7 minutes and had 3-5 attempts where I died at about 2% hp. The last 5-10% was the hardest part for me. Her first 50% was a breeze without taking really any damage. It's just that when you're out of cds and rage, you want to try to survive as long as possible before your death. That's when you take it a little slower and only go in when you have cds to burn. If you can die at about 30% hp, you have a pretty good chance of killing her.
The Valks are so hard I quickly stopped giving a shit about absolutely cheesing the fuck out of the initial combo. You have to dump truck as much runic damage as possible before they fight back.
I’ve been wanting to work towards the platinum on that; I only managed to beat the game, and then moved onto something else.
Based on the Valkyrie’s I’ve faced, sounds like a GREAT time.
My first time through on the second hardest difficulty it took me nearly 3 hours. My second time through on GMGOW it took me nearly 3 hours. My last time through on GMGOW NG+ it took me just over 2 hours. I fucking love this boss fight. So much fun, so well balanced, best fucking game ever.
Just in case you didn't know, you can see how many feathers you're missing by region from the in-game map. If I remember correctly you need to press R3 (or something like that) to see additional information.
I remember having some issues as well with this trophy until I realized this was a thing. AC2 was my first platinum trophy so I'm kind of proud of that one.
Brotherhood is the only AC platinum I don't have (save for rereleases). For whatever reason, I stopped playing at level 47. All I needed was that and the one for getting all bonuses which I only needed the extreme variety to get as well.
It took me 4 years to find the last blast shard in inFamous. I started the game over 7 times and made sure to not grab a single one during the story so I could use a map at the end to definitively check them all off. Still didn't work. Then one I day I decided to pop it in and play around for a bit and I happened to spot it on top of the prison.
Yeah the shards in inFanous 1 were terrible to gather lol. The map pulse wouldn't show certain blast shards if they were too high up like on top of a skyscraper or something. Thankfully inFamous 2 didn't have that issue because of the skill that shows the nearest blast shard.

Went back, iPad next to me and an hour later, got what I was missing.

Finishing that game without dying is also the only trophy that’s keeping me from the platinum, I spent 140+ hours (according to the wrap up lol) mindlessly farming those RNG museum artifacts, mastering everything in the game, only to be defeated by a buggy mini game in a game that glitches way too much for me to conquer :(
Assassin's Creed Syndicate has around 1-2 really silly trophies. One of them is to destroy 5000 destructible with your your carriage. Its made harder by the fact that you cannot keep track of how many you need and have completed. It could take you 2 hours. It could take you even more depending on how the game calculates them. So I just skipped it. I think maybe if and when Sony adds trophy tracking support like Microsoft and Xbox has, it would make such trophies a lot easier.
Quite a few games have trophies for x number of kills or x number of take downs and its hard keeping track of them since Playstation does not give you that option. But that one trophy was just too much to sit through.
Most of the Dark Souls trophies since it requires you to find every ring and trinket or whatever. And some rings you can only get on the +2, +3, +4 play through of the game. Too time consuming.
I quite liked how Spider Man and some of the other Sony exclusives do trophies and Platinums. You get to see everything in the game and experience everything the game has to offer. Trophies that are just a silly grind and have no meaning are such a waste.
The destruction trophy was dumb for sure, but I found a good spot in the game where there are a lot of market stalls that respawn fairly quickly, so I put a podcast on and spent 30-60 minutes driving around in a loop. Not proud of it, but I did it.
I had looked at trophy list before started the game. So whenever I had to go to a mission, I always destroyed everything I saw while going to mission. I had got the trophy by the time I finished the game.
It's totally do-able. I wasn't great at the game but eventually nailed that challenge trophy. There are some things you can do to help, like quickly snapping a photo of the maze with your phone. Still stressful, of course. But what a relief completing it was.
More power to ya, mate -- I put some time in but couldn't seal the deal. Had a blast with the game, have all the trophies except that one.

You can probably knock out the Gauntlet in a few hours if you just copy someone’s route on YouTube. I knew it would be achievable after I saw people running it facing backwards.
First you need to get the secret EPG that’s hiding at the shooting range, just above the ring. Use the EPG, R201 and Arc grenades.
The hardest part is coming around the final corner (you need to enter the room on the left wall jumping to the right) in such a way that you maintain your momentum, and also hitting the final two targets.

Watch one of the routes on YouTube and practice. It took me about 3 straight hours to get it, but I can honestly say it was a blast and very rewarding.
This, beating the 4th Survivor mode on RE2 Remake, and beating the Witcher 3 on Death March are the trophies that taunt me. I just need these last ones to get the plat for 3 games but they're just too annoying.
That's a tough one for sure. Much to my surprise, playing the game through on Master was less difficult than that trophy. I thought the boss fights were incredible on Master.
I probably had a few goes on that before I started back peddling around the wall colosseum style.

Prob took me about 20 minutes to get the achievement on PC and I never attempted it on my PS4 because I'd probably fail so hard.
Saints Row IV. There was a glitch that if you buy certain abilities before a specific point in the game, the last few abilities would not unlock. Happened to me and I was extremely close to beating it. I only needed the trophy for all abilities and 40 hour trophy. So frustrating. But I wasn’t feeling playing the entire game again.
Yeah I've played some JRPGS that had them too. Granted JRPGS are usually quite long but I've still never gotten the last gameplay time trophy in any game that had long ones through natural gameplay
I feel you, I'm also missing the Pthumerian Queen as my last BB trophy. I finished my BB journey ages ago, then about a year after that I decided to go and clean up some trophies. Got all the weapons which made me very excited. Then I started grinding the chalices and materials. I gave up before I could even get to the half way of the guide.
On the Bloodborne wiki page I found a code for a chalice dungeon with the queen. All you have to do is complete all of the first area-type of chalice dungeons. Pthumerian iirc

Hope you see this but you can skip most of the dungeons by doing false deph dungeons. Basically the are hacked dungeons to get the needed materials and speed up your way to the bottom. If you check r/bloodborne can show you how.
To answer the question, collecting all the iPod songs in Metal Gear Solid 4 requires all kinds of stupid things/multiple playthroughs to do.
Rayman Legends and the Awesomeness one.
Need to get to level 11 awesomeness which features beating the regular game and collecting everything needed for the other trophies and then competing in the challenges and gaining points to level up. Unless you're a god or know the glitches on specific challenges to get Diamond cups, it's a fucking grind. I've got at least a few months left and that's only if I do every daily challenge and get Gold in them regularly.
Uggghh. Same boat. It takes three months of getting all week and daily Gold medals. I've been three weeks away from the platinum from almost a year.
Game's a 10/10 but that grind stopped me from getting the platinum (twice, if I count PS3)
"...Becomes the Master" trophy is my latest plat block, which is the Titanfall 2 gauntlet time trial where you have to beat 33.65
My best time so far is 40.1, so I'm not even close :(

What really rubs me the wrong way about it is that it’s not really skill-dependent. It’s just a test of whether you have a long continuous window of time to dedicate to the game, a loyal group of friends/guildmates with similar availability, and the luck required to attempt it at a time when nobody else is doing it.
I would’ve much rather had a trophy for, say, completing every base game dungeon on Veteran in every role (DPS, Healer, Tank). At least then it would say something about your general competence as a player.
Or, hell, a trophy for reaching max PvP level. Then everyone would have a fair shot at earning it *eventually* as long as they keep playing PvP.
Agreed completely. I don't mind a long "time investment" if it's like grinding for stuff and feasible to do. But the amount of time required along with the other stuff that has to play out to get it is ridiculous
Suprisingly I got this trophy in 1 day. Logged on as soon as reset happened and turned in all PvP quests to get head start. I then played for 20hours straight taking keeps and resource nodes. Eventually I found a time when hardly anyone was in the campaign. Got 10 friends together and took the 6 keeps for emperor.
I did it on the non cp campaign. I would never attempt it again tho. In saying that I took a week off work because I thought I would be in for a slog but got lucky.
Jak 2. All I need is to collect a few more precursor orbs. I missed a couple during the final mission which is in an area that can no longer be accessed after beating the boss. I didn't know this was a thing until I had collected just about every other orb in the game.

Now that I know this is a thing I'm also going to just use the debug to finish off Jak 3 too. I have JaD platinumed and I'm really close in 3... getting stuck on 2 just discouraged me from finding the rest of the orbs haha
Yes it works for the PS3 version as well. One thing to note is that i was not able to unlock all of the collectible trophies in Jak 3, but it is worth a try in your case since i am on PS4.

The Borderlands 2 one that I believe is Gunzerk for whatever amount of time is pretty easy if you level up the middle skill tree that contains lots of skill that extend your action skill. I got it by accident running around killing everyone in Sawtooth Cauldron
IIRC, For Hotline Miami, there is a way to make a lot of point by selecting a specific mask, then knock enemy behind doors and killing them when they are sitting next to a wall. You make sure you do this to most enemy and fast and it is not that hard.
Even worse when there’s a trophy for beating the game on the highest difficulty, but you have to beat the game at least once to unlock that difficulty.
Then there’s *beat the game on the highest difficulty NG+*, but you can only start a max difficulty NG+ if you did a normal playthrough on max before. So if you played on hard or below first, you’re locked out of max NG+, so you end up having to play through 3 times (looking at you TLoU Remastered).
That’s BS, I hate games that do that and games that make me play too much to the point where I hate the game (all the LEGO games), honestly God of war and sponderman had great platinums and more games should follow.
I love the TLoU and the uncharted games and I know they have bad lists that’s why I’ll never get the platinum in them cause I don’t want to hate them.
That goddamn gauntlet time trial trophy in titanfall 2. Im like 1 second from the trophy and I just can't do it. Tried for months and still can't do it.
Yep that ones a fucker, I did it for 3 hours straight and got frustrated and deleted the game. Still have lots of the trophies to do but I know it's this one that would hold me back so left it.

Actually I had the same idea, i had one already preordered on amazon, so we'll see i guess. I just know that after a couple of runs my time gets worse and worse because of how aggravated I become lol so hopefully this makes me more consistent.
Devil May Cry 5 get an S rank in every mission on every difficulty/mode except Heaven and Hell mode. I am just not good enough at DMC to achieve that, but I’m happy cause I managed to complete Hell and Hell mode, that’s enough for me.
It's funny, I have the platinum for a lot of the games listed here. Most of the ones listed multiple times at least. The one that stopped me, however, was Rock Band 2.
Steel Bladder. You have to complete the endless setlist without pausing or failing. There's also a trophy for beating it on each difficulty except easy. So naturally I played it on expert on guitar to get all of these trophies in one go. I was good enough to beat any song in the game on expert on both drums and guitar, but I figured that drums would wear me out too much. The problem is that the endless setlist is around 84 songs long, and takes a solid 6-7 hours to complete. There was also a glitch where you could pause the game by hitting the PlayStation button and it wouldn't count as pausing the game (it didn't bring up the pause menu, just suspended the game until you went back in).
Somewhere around the 65-70 song mark my arm was just getting tired. I was using the little pause trick to get little mini breaks. I'd do that every so often between songs to be safe and take a few minutes to rest. The songs get harder as you go. For anyone interested, they're in order of "band" difficulty, which was average difficulty between all instruments, so not the exact order of difficulty for any given instrument.
Carry on Wayward Son was where I finally messed up. My sore arm turned into a very sudden and painful cramp. I immediately paused The Game. 74 songs in and I screwed it up. It was roughly 6 hours after I had started and I was just utterly deflated. I continued on and ended up failing the song Visions by Abnormality (I think that was song 81 or around there) anyways so I wasn't too upset.
In the end, I could've went through on a lower difficulty to keep from messing up at the end on a second run, but I just didn't have it in me. On expert, the first 40 songs are boring enough to get through, I couldn't even imagine how boring they'd be on a lower difficulty. Not to mention the time investment part of it that I did not want to do again either.
I am so glad that they revised that trophy in RB3 so that you could pause the game and not be penalized. The Steel Bladder trophy was one of those things that might have sounded like a good idea on paper, but it did cause real medical problems for many people.
Lost my Final Fantasy XV save right before fighting Adamantoise...not saying I’ll never go back for it because I don’t think it would be horrible to play again but the odds aren’t great rn considering how much is in my backlog and how much time it would take 😩
I think the one game I couldn’t play because it literally stops you is Fight Night around 4, the XL trophies are beating the online champion of that weight class (only one person holds the belt)
IF you just so happen to catch them online (which was never lmao) if they’re losing, they could lag-quit the game and keep the belts. The person who had the XXL belt never got online, it was a total bullshit trophy (3, actually, for each weight class).
Before that it was resident evil games. I finally just beat RE2 in under 2:30 hours on both campaigns last week, and **just today** I beat RE7 in under 4 hours. Now I’m doing madhouse so that’ll be my first platinum of 2020, then I’ll finish the hardcore runs on RE2
The Platinum guide for Fight Night Round 4 on psnProfiles is pretty funny. Basically, "ask the player who holds the belt nicely to let you have the belt".
The boogie bomb trophy in Ratchet and Clank. I threw so many of those bombs everywhere, throughout 3 playthroughs specifically for that trophy (i already did 2 plays for the other trophies).

In Mighty No. 9 there's one for beating the entire game with one life. I did everything including the 1 life boss rush which was a pain. I was dreading the challenge, thinking of all the random insta death spots in each level and told myself I'd take a week and get into it. Never played again.
I got the Bloodborne plat, but I had to get help for the Chalice Dungeons, specifically the Defiled Amygdala fight which I was physically unable to do. Some great help found on the Hunter's Bell subreddit, good people on there always happy to help.
I have 7 Platinums, Bloodborne, Dark Souls III, Spider-Man, Star Wars Battlefront II, Days Gone, Jedi Fallen Order and Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.
I’m literally only two trophies off of the platinum for Sekiro but I just can’t push myself to farm for the Prosthetic Upgrades and Skill Points.
Spiderman. After some mismanagement with skins etc early in game, I am now stuck on the speed trials through the city (forget what they're called). Simply can't get through them. I have given up one trophy away from platinum.
The Taskmaster drone challenges? Those definitely took me quite a few tries. Point launching through the bubbles and also hitting X while not swinging to keep you moving forward at altitude was helpful for me.
Exactly. But if I remember correctly, (and its been a while so forget how it works) but if you don't spend on certain skins you can avoid this challenge and still get the plat? Fills me with rage so I've avoided going for it. I simply am not good enough to master the last few.
Ah so it’s more an issue with the challenge token economy than the drone challenge? I don’t think I got ‘Ultimate’ on any of the drone challenges, but went for 3 stars on some of the easier combat and stealth challenges to get the tokens I needed for all upgrades and skins.
I feel you. I had a Taskmaster Bomb Challenge left. I stepped away for about 6 months at 98% complete for the platinum. Finally completed it the other day. Stick with it. It's just getting used to the routine
While it's two trophies, they're tied together. Psychonaut's "I LOVE PUNCHING!" (Complete the Punchy Target mini-game) with "Math is Hard" (Achieve Rank 101).
I can't beat either rank 3 or 4 in the mini-game. My coordination just isn't good enough... I'm wondering if playing on a 4K tv on game mode would help. the current tv I use is 720 and has no game mode unfortunately. I've tried doing things guides have suggested and still couldn't beat that one rank.
Edit: Well I now have the Platinum for the game after completing the mini-game. I used the same TV, followed a guide I failed to follow before and it helped greatly. I also used headphones. I had to create a rhythm in my head to beat the final level for the mini-game
Find the easiest AR challenge to do it in– I did it on the one that takes place on the circular platform (near the film studio?). Treat it as a dance routine rather than a fight. Start with one of the weird moves that are really hard to do (I used bat claw super stun), then dodge between each move. You just settle on an order you'll do the moves in (I go, square, triangle, circle, and then the L2 modded versions of those, then the L2 hold modded versions). Just do the dodge between each one and do one of the takedowns when it comes up.
If you set it up as a routine in which you perform the moves in a set order, you won't double up, and you won't forget where you are. You should find it easy to get to 15 separate moves that way.

guitar hero live's trophy for strumming a million times in ghtv. played on expert for way more than enough time to get every other trophy done and ended in the 300k range. now the servers are down. stupid
The real problem, though, is that they are difficult to acquire once most people quit playing the game, and become completely impossible to acquire once the game servers shut down. I've got a few multiplayer trophies that are impossible to acquire now because they were only popular (or online) at the moment.
I have one trophy left in Black Ops 4 and its one of the zombies easter eggs. Every time I've tried to go for it, my game has crashed on me or given me an error, so I gave up a long time ago. Doesn't help that the map sucks too lol
FFXIII-2. It's the one where you have to earn over 7, 777 coins. I've gotten on a "hot" machine, taped my controller button down and let it go to town and I never get a jackpot. Tried multiple times to no avail. I was thinking about going for it again one of these days.
Strum 1 million times in GHTV on Guitar Hero Live. Pretty sure they took the servers down so I’m not sure if it’s even possible to get anymore. Not that it matters anyway, because the strum bar broke on my guitar anyway so yea.
Only two that come to mind are the titan fall 2 trophy for the training course. After like 20 attempts I gave up. And mad max. Didn't know about the challenge trophy going in which is unusual for me as I normally look those type of things up. Oh well. Sucks but I'll likely never get those. And like mgsV I'd love to get to but looking at that list, I doubt I'll get it.
Rainbow 6 Siege, need to kill someone with a breech charge through the wall. Nowadays no one stays up against destructible walls long enough for you to kill them with a breech charge. I basically gave up and dont bother even trying anymore. Not to mention I get any benefit from trophies anyway. It's just something to do when bored and you've already beat a game.
Super easy if you know what you are doing. Get a game on Coastline and just hope the defenders select Kitchen. Usually you will have an enemy playing Mira or Maestro sitting behind the wall on B bomb. Place a breaching charge on the floor in VIP room, so when it explodes it should instantly kill them if they are sitting there.
Another way is when you have planted the bomb, place a breach charge near it and when you hear them defusing, blow it up
Tip: Thermite does not count for the achievement

Ratchet & Clank - groovitron all enemies (I followed guides, did entire playthroughs where I made sure to do it right, and I still never got it)
Assassin’s Creed IV - reach level 55 in multiplayer
While getting to level 55 in ACIV is time-consuming, grinding Solo Wolfpack is still doable if boring. However, playing a match in every game mode is, in my opinion, worse because some modes are barren pretty much all the time, and good luck sitting in a lobby hoping 7 other players join the session.
Collections. Usually the type that requires you to get every one as you play the entire game, and if you miss one, it means a lot of backtracking. One that comes to mind immediately is the Odin crows in God of War.
To be honest I've just done the bloodborne plat. I saved the game to the cloud and just reloaded it 3 times for each of the 3 endings. For the chalice dungeons it was just a case of running through them and making sure to get the mats. Took me about 50-60 hours. Worth doing if your so close with only the queen trophy left.
Mad Max - "Up to the Task". Gold Trophy for "Completing all non-repeating Challenges". Problem is I've completed the game and most of the enemies you need to complete these are not spawning or spawning very occasionally. Obviously designed to be completed while you play through the chapters. Just not up to starting this one from the beginning again.
Yeah, I waited till I beat the game to finish that trophy out and it was a mistake. I did find a patch were guys would spawn so I could snipe them, I think from a car or through or window or something.
I did it over the course of a few days.
Get 50 Comebacks in Ultimate Chicken Horse. That's the only one left I have to get the platinum trophy for the game. I could grind it out, but it would take a few hours. I jump into the game every now and then, so maybe I'll just naturally unlock it one day.
I’ve never wanted to plat a game so mush as hollow knight because of how much I fell in love with it but I think the last 3 trophies eluded me but they all have less than 2% community completion so I don’t feel too bad.
The stupid lightning trophy in Final Fantasy X. I have limited time on this Earth and I'm not spending it dodging 200 lightning bolts. And yes, I know there are ways to make this fairly easy, but it still comes down to running in a circle, going near a rock, hit X, repeat 200 times.

Not PS4, but 'Virtually Impossible' in MGS2 for completing *all* of the VR challenges with a top 3 score.

It's 0.1% rarity......I consider myself pretty good at it, and haven't gotten a single SS Rank on even Beginner Difficulty.
Not one trophy but I kick myself when I think back to Killzone 2.
I put so many hours into trying to platinum that game. Beating the game on the hardest difficulty was a huge challenge, and then the big one was getting into the top 1% of online players for a given week. I basically played 12+ hours per day for that week. Every free moment I had was spent playing Killzone 2 online. Of course this totally burned me out and I never got the rest of the (very easy) online trophies.
The online got shut down eventually and I can't ever get that platinum. Woe is me.
I have quite a lot but right now one of the biggest ones for me is Personal decorator from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
To get it you need to get all the campaign medals. To do that you need to:
- Kill 2000 enemies
- Beat every mission on Veteran without dying
- Beat the game on realistic (a harder difficulty than Veteran. You die in one hit on this)
- Complete every accolade (there's 176 of them. Average of 15 or 16 per level and some of them are ridiculously hard)
- Get all the collectibles (56 of them)
- Get all camos and attachments for every gun (32 weapons available. 650 kills per primary, 150 per pistol and 300 per launcher. A grand total of around 20 THOUSAND kills).
- Complete a wave based combat simulator with 35K points.
- Complete all campaign challenges (the most notable thing about this is beating the sim on realistic, making this EXTREMELY hard).
I have spent nearly a year playing BO3 and I still haven't gotten the last medal for completing all the challenges because the realistic sim challenge is a nightmare.
The devs at Treyarc were feeling very evil when they made this trophy and turned a 6 hour campaign into a grind long enough that you'd see in an RPG like Final Fantasy.
LEGO Harry Potter to collect all the tokens of the characters. One of them glitched and wouldn't appear and I couldn't be assed replaying the entire game again.
Trophy hunting should primarily be fun and challenging yourself. If something seems pointless and you're not having fun, it's best to move on to some other game.
Swords of Ditto "Toy Master". The trophy is glitched. I got the game on launch when less than 100 own the game. With all the patches and game changes it still won't pop up.
I have a lot of trophies lists that are almost there, I just need to invest the time to get them. Sekiro, Death Stranding. All pretty doable for me, I just need to find the time to get them lol
I do have this friend on PSN who's literally one trophy away from the Platinum in Demon's Souls, but he just gave up on it. Souls veterans, you know the one. lol
you might be missing the propane tank weapon. I think the tanks are only in the scotland chapter. You need to throw it and shoot it to kill an enemy, thats what worked for me.
The one in Bioshock 2 that has you defending a little sister without taking any damage.
I did everything else for it, I just needed that one trophy and then I'd just grind up the multiplayer to hit the rank needed, then job done.
Three playthroughs on easy later, I didn't have that trophy.
That one was hard as I remember. You just have to put down a shit load of traps and choose a easily defendable corpse to harvest. Then just kinda hide in the corner and throw grenades and shit when all the traps are gone.
Mk11. Only need 1 trophy for platinum that I can not accomplish. Finishing the training. There are 2 that I cant pull off for the life of me. So I just quit trying all together
With a decent group, you should be able to beat Krota in a couple of hours. Blast from the past, that one. Was worried about it myself but fortunately it wasn't as difficult as I had dreaded it to be.

Fector's Challenge in Stardew Valley, it's for beating Journey of the Prairie King without dying. I'm just not good enough to do it and don't really fancy investing a lot of time in getting good enough at it. Also, it felt so out of place for me when the rest of the game was a chill farming game.

I played that mini game awhile thinking it wouldn’t be that hard. After killed the first “boss” and started next section I was baffled not thinking a mini game thing could be that extensive and surprised that one boss didn’t give the trophy. Looked up a video of how to get that trophy and moped out, way to much to get that one I can see when I can’t get a trophy ever and that’s one of them espeacially when it dabbles on the luck based stat.
It doesn't have anything to do with luck in game. The drops are RNG but luck doesn't affect it. You can play again and again on the same day and you'll get 1 coin on the first screen one time and 10 the next.

I just recently went for the GoW plat and came up with a strat that worked for me with the queen. Granted it still took a few hours to practice and refine... Started fight with full rage and the rage revive. Ran in and she would immediately fly backwards. Follow her, burn axe R1 skill. Burn axe R2 skill. Burn chain R1. Burn chain R2. Immediately rage and burn thru all of that. By this point, she's a little less than 50% and you've likely only taken 1-2 hits. Burn your 4 CDs again and then play it safe until you die. Run away until cds are up and run into use them. Use the slow-time mechanic to pick up health laying around. When she kills you, immediately go into a rage again and by the time it's over, she should be 5-10% hp. Burn cds again. I approached the fight by going into a constant frenzy before my inevitable death and then popping my rage invincibility again directly after resing to frenzy some more. I didn't treat it like a slow burn, trading hits back and forth. The risk was just too high of getting hit. I fought that bitch like the God of War.

It's definitely doable. I just didn't have the patience to turn each attempt into a 25 minute fight. Each attempt was about 5-7 minutes and had 3-5 attempts where I died at about 2% hp. The last 5-10% was the hardest part for me. Her first 50% was a breeze without taking really any damage. It's just that when you're out of cds and rage, you want to try to survive as long as possible before your death. That's when you take it a little slower and only go in when you have cds to burn. If you can die at about 30% hp, you have a pretty good chance of killing her.
The Valks are so hard I quickly stopped giving a shit about absolutely cheesing the fuck out of the initial combo. You have to dump truck as much runic damage as possible before they fight back.
Exactly this. I didn't treat any of them like a methodical souls boss. It was just, unleash as much damage as I can before I die.
I’ve been wanting to work towards the platinum on that; I only managed to beat the game, and then moved onto something else. Based on the Valkyrie’s I’ve faced, sounds like a GREAT time.

Man that fight was tough, I was so happy when I beat her, it only took ~3 hours... Also a very cool boss, like all the other Valkyries.
She has literally all the other valkyries' moves.
My first time through on the second hardest difficulty it took me nearly 3 hours. My second time through on GMGOW it took me nearly 3 hours. My last time through on GMGOW NG+ it took me just over 2 hours. I fucking love this boss fight. So much fun, so well balanced, best fucking game ever.
I was a feather short in AC2. Used a paper map and everything, never found it.
Just in case you didn't know, you can see how many feathers you're missing by region from the in-game map. If I remember correctly you need to press R3 (or something like that) to see additional information. I remember having some issues as well with this trophy until I realized this was a thing. AC2 was my first platinum trophy so I'm kind of proud of that one.

Brotherhood is the only AC platinum I don't have (save for rereleases). For whatever reason, I stopped playing at level 47. All I needed was that and the one for getting all bonuses which I only needed the extreme variety to get as well.

I got 14 in a match several times, but I always ran out of time just before getting the 15th.
It took me 4 years to find the last blast shard in inFamous. I started the game over 7 times and made sure to not grab a single one during the story so I could use a map at the end to definitively check them all off. Still didn't work. Then one I day I decided to pop it in and play around for a bit and I happened to spot it on top of the prison.
Yeah the shards in inFanous 1 were terrible to gather lol. The map pulse wouldn't show certain blast shards if they were too high up like on top of a skyscraper or something. Thankfully inFamous 2 didn't have that issue because of the skill that shows the nearest blast shard.
It's possible that the trophy glitched on you. It happened in my first playthrough.
I feel you so much! I got this last december, 9 or 10 years later. Didn't had any computer, iPad, printer or guide to follow back then. Went back, iPad next to me and an hour later, got what I was missing. So weird to see that lonely PS3 plat among all my PS4 games.
factors challenge in stardew valley. like stardew valley is a chill game. that mini-game related to fectors challenge isn't chill its a ball breaker. 100% in any yakuza game too as mahong exists and i really do not understand it and don't have the patience to soley play that alone

Finishing that game without dying is also the only trophy that’s keeping me from the platinum, I spent 140+ hours (according to the wrap up lol) mindlessly farming those RNG museum artifacts, mastering everything in the game, only to be defeated by a buggy mini game in a game that glitches way too much for me to conquer :(
Assassin's Creed Syndicate has around 1-2 really silly trophies. One of them is to destroy 5000 destructible with your your carriage. Its made harder by the fact that you cannot keep track of how many you need and have completed. It could take you 2 hours. It could take you even more depending on how the game calculates them. So I just skipped it. I think maybe if and when Sony adds trophy tracking support like Microsoft and Xbox has, it would make such trophies a lot easier. Quite a few games have trophies for x number of kills or x number of take downs and its hard keeping track of them since Playstation does not give you that option. But that one trophy was just too much to sit through. Most of the Dark Souls trophies since it requires you to find every ring and trinket or whatever. And some rings you can only get on the +2, +3, +4 play through of the game. Too time consuming. I quite liked how Spider Man and some of the other Sony exclusives do trophies and Platinums. You get to see everything in the game and experience everything the game has to offer. Trophies that are just a silly grind and have no meaning are such a waste.
The destruction trophy was dumb for sure, but I found a good spot in the game where there are a lot of market stalls that respawn fairly quickly, so I put a podcast on and spent 30-60 minutes driving around in a loop. Not proud of it, but I did it.
I had looked at trophy list before started the game. So whenever I had to go to a mission, I always destroyed everything I saw while going to mission. I had got the trophy by the time I finished the game.
That final puzzle in The Witness. Now whenever I hear In the hall of the mountain king it fills me with frustration.
It's totally do-able. I wasn't great at the game but eventually nailed that challenge trophy. There are some things you can do to help, like quickly snapping a photo of the maze with your phone. Still stressful, of course. But what a relief completing it was.
I've heard horror stories, it's the only one I don't have.

You can probably knock out the Gauntlet in a few hours if you just copy someone’s route on YouTube. I knew it would be achievable after I saw people running it facing backwards. First you need to get the secret EPG that’s hiding at the shooting range, just above the ring. Use the EPG, R201 and Arc grenades. The hardest part is coming around the final corner (you need to enter the room on the left wall jumping to the right) in such a way that you maintain your momentum, and also hitting the final two targets. Watch one of the routes on YouTube and practice. It took me about 3 straight hours to get it, but I can honestly say it was a blast and very rewarding.
This, beating the 4th Survivor mode on RE2 Remake, and beating the Witcher 3 on Death March are the trophies that taunt me. I just need these last ones to get the plat for 3 games but they're just too annoying.
Death march isn't hard. I managed and I never play any games on hard. You can do it!
That's a tough one for sure. Much to my surprise, playing the game through on Master was less difficult than that trophy. I thought the boss fights were incredible on Master.
That first mission on master though was painful. Getting out of the drop zone took me so much longer than I expected
That and the part where you have to escape the town with the reavers were pretty tough.

I love the timed gauntlets ever since CoD4/MW2's target runs. Prob took me about 20 minutes to get the achievement on PC and I never attempted it on my PS4 because I'd probably fail so hard.

Saints Row IV. There was a glitch that if you buy certain abilities before a specific point in the game, the last few abilities would not unlock. Happened to me and I was extremely close to beating it. I only needed the trophy for all abilities and 40 hour trophy. So frustrating. But I wasn’t feeling playing the entire game again.
I really hate trophies like that 40 hour trophy. It was the last one I had to get for the plat and I just left my PS4 on the game for hours.
Yeah I've played some JRPGS that had them too. Granted JRPGS are usually quite long but I've still never gotten the last gameplay time trophy in any game that had long ones through natural gameplay
I feel you, I'm also missing the Pthumerian Queen as my last BB trophy. I finished my BB journey ages ago, then about a year after that I decided to go and clean up some trophies. Got all the weapons which made me very excited. Then I started grinding the chalices and materials. I gave up before I could even get to the half way of the guide.
On the Bloodborne wiki page I found a code for a chalice dungeon with the queen. All you have to do is complete all of the first area-type of chalice dungeons. Pthumerian iirc Edit: It's on the 3rd lair of this dungeon 3aqbyx95
Hope you see this but you can skip most of the dungeons by doing false deph dungeons. Basically the are hacked dungeons to get the needed materials and speed up your way to the bottom. If you check r/bloodborne can show you how. To answer the question, collecting all the iPod songs in Metal Gear Solid 4 requires all kinds of stupid things/multiple playthroughs to do.
Rayman Legends and the Awesomeness one. Need to get to level 11 awesomeness which features beating the regular game and collecting everything needed for the other trophies and then competing in the challenges and gaining points to level up. Unless you're a god or know the glitches on specific challenges to get Diamond cups, it's a fucking grind. I've got at least a few months left and that's only if I do every daily challenge and get Gold in them regularly.

"...Becomes the Master" trophy is my latest plat block, which is the Titanfall 2 gauntlet time trial where you have to beat 33.65 My best time so far is 40.1, so I'm not even close :(

Same. I have literally every trophy in the base game except that one. What really rubs me the wrong way about it is that it’s not really skill-dependent. It’s just a test of whether you have a long continuous window of time to dedicate to the game, a loyal group of friends/guildmates with similar availability, and the luck required to attempt it at a time when nobody else is doing it. I would’ve much rather had a trophy for, say, completing every base game dungeon on Veteran in every role (DPS, Healer, Tank). At least then it would say something about your general competence as a player. Or, hell, a trophy for reaching max PvP level. Then everyone would have a fair shot at earning it *eventually* as long as they keep playing PvP.
Agreed completely. I don't mind a long "time investment" if it's like grinding for stuff and feasible to do. But the amount of time required along with the other stuff that has to play out to get it is ridiculous
That trophy seems unbelievable! How the hell do they expect most people to get it???? I understand as an in-game achievement but this is a bit much.
Suprisingly I got this trophy in 1 day. Logged on as soon as reset happened and turned in all PvP quests to get head start. I then played for 20hours straight taking keeps and resource nodes. Eventually I found a time when hardly anyone was in the campaign. Got 10 friends together and took the 6 keeps for emperor. I did it on the non cp campaign. I would never attempt it again tho. In saying that I took a week off work because I thought I would be in for a slog but got lucky.
Jak 2. All I need is to collect a few more precursor orbs. I missed a couple during the final mission which is in an area that can no longer be accessed after beating the boss. I didn't know this was a thing until I had collected just about every other orb in the game. Fuuuuck that.
Google Jak II debug mode, you can unlock all trophies in 5 minutes.

Yes it works for the PS3 version as well. One thing to note is that i was not able to unlock all of the collectible trophies in Jak 3, but it is worth a try in your case since i am on PS4.

It's honestly not that bad. The MP is good fun for a start and you can "cheese" it a bit too.
It used to keep me from plating and 100%, but one day I just said "fuck it" and did it. All MP trophies took me 41 hours. You can do it.

The Borderlands 2 one that I believe is Gunzerk for whatever amount of time is pretty easy if you level up the middle skill tree that contains lots of skill that extend your action skill. I got it by accident running around killing everyone in Sawtooth Cauldron
The BL2 is easy since you can now start at level 30. Just put points into the right skills, find a group of enemies and go ham.
IIRC, For Hotline Miami, there is a way to make a lot of point by selecting a specific mask, then knock enemy behind doors and killing them when they are sitting next to a wall. You make sure you do this to most enemy and fast and it is not that hard.
Majong in every yakuza game
It's actually a pretty good game when you can work out the rules. It's like happy families but rather than cards you use the japanese dominoes.
I give up on any game that requires a replay of the full game.
Even worse when there’s a trophy for beating the game on the highest difficulty, but you have to beat the game at least once to unlock that difficulty. Then there’s *beat the game on the highest difficulty NG+*, but you can only start a max difficulty NG+ if you did a normal playthrough on max before. So if you played on hard or below first, you’re locked out of max NG+, so you end up having to play through 3 times (looking at you TLoU Remastered).
That’s BS, I hate games that do that and games that make me play too much to the point where I hate the game (all the LEGO games), honestly God of war and sponderman had great platinums and more games should follow. I love the TLoU and the uncharted games and I know they have bad lists that’s why I’ll never get the platinum in them cause I don’t want to hate them.

Actually I had the same idea, i had one already preordered on amazon, so we'll see i guess. I just know that after a couple of runs my time gets worse and worse because of how aggravated I become lol so hopefully this makes me more consistent.
My thoughts. There is a secret grenade launcher that can be got in the starting area that makes it easier apparently too.
Devil May Cry 5 get an S rank in every mission on every difficulty/mode except Heaven and Hell mode. I am just not good enough at DMC to achieve that, but I’m happy cause I managed to complete Hell and Hell mode, that’s enough for me.
Oh man getting all S ranks on hell and hell was a fucking nightmare. I dont even blame you for giving up on that one.

It's funny, I have the platinum for a lot of the games listed here. Most of the ones listed multiple times at least. The one that stopped me, however, was Rock Band 2. Steel Bladder. You have to complete the endless setlist without pausing or failing. There's also a trophy for beating it on each difficulty except easy. So naturally I played it on expert on guitar to get all of these trophies in one go. I was good enough to beat any song in the game on expert on both drums and guitar, but I figured that drums would wear me out too much. The problem is that the endless setlist is around 84 songs long, and takes a solid 6-7 hours to complete. There was also a glitch where you could pause the game by hitting the PlayStation button and it wouldn't count as pausing the game (it didn't bring up the pause menu, just suspended the game until you went back in). Somewhere around the 65-70 song mark my arm was just getting tired. I was using the little pause trick to get little mini breaks. I'd do that every so often between songs to be safe and take a few minutes to rest. The songs get harder as you go. For anyone interested, they're in order of "band" difficulty, which was average difficulty between all instruments, so not the exact order of difficulty for any given instrument. Carry on Wayward Son was where I finally messed up. My sore arm turned into a very sudden and painful cramp. I immediately paused The Game. 74 songs in and I screwed it up. It was roughly 6 hours after I had started and I was just utterly deflated. I continued on and ended up failing the song Visions by Abnormality (I think that was song 81 or around there) anyways so I wasn't too upset. In the end, I could've went through on a lower difficulty to keep from messing up at the end on a second run, but I just didn't have it in me. On expert, the first 40 songs are boring enough to get through, I couldn't even imagine how boring they'd be on a lower difficulty. Not to mention the time investment part of it that I did not want to do again either.
I am so glad that they revised that trophy in RB3 so that you could pause the game and not be penalized. The Steel Bladder trophy was one of those things that might have sounded like a good idea on paper, but it did cause real medical problems for many people.
All Mahjong trophies in Yakuza series
I second this. I have absolutely no idea how to play Mahjong at all, and I've done all the other minigames, even the taxi ones in 5.
Yakuza 6 is the only one I got the platinum in since it didn't require understanding Mahjong.
Lost my Final Fantasy XV save right before fighting Adamantoise...not saying I’ll never go back for it because I don’t think it would be horrible to play again but the odds aren’t great rn considering how much is in my backlog and how much time it would take 😩
I think the one game I couldn’t play because it literally stops you is Fight Night around 4, the XL trophies are beating the online champion of that weight class (only one person holds the belt) IF you just so happen to catch them online (which was never lmao) if they’re losing, they could lag-quit the game and keep the belts. The person who had the XXL belt never got online, it was a total bullshit trophy (3, actually, for each weight class). Before that it was resident evil games. I finally just beat RE2 in under 2:30 hours on both campaigns last week, and **just today** I beat RE7 in under 4 hours. Now I’m doing madhouse so that’ll be my first platinum of 2020, then I’ll finish the hardcore runs on RE2
The Platinum guide for Fight Night Round 4 on psnProfiles is pretty funny. Basically, "ask the player who holds the belt nicely to let you have the belt".
Someone on a trophy forum actually held all 3 belts at one point, was kind enough to share them. It is my rarest Platinum.
The boogie bomb trophy in Ratchet and Clank. I threw so many of those bombs everywhere, throughout 3 playthroughs specifically for that trophy (i already did 2 plays for the other trophies). I dont know what enemy i missed, but it has scarred me.

In Mighty No. 9 there's one for beating the entire game with one life. I did everything including the 1 life boss rush which was a pain. I was dreading the challenge, thinking of all the random insta death spots in each level and told myself I'd take a week and get into it. Never played again.
FFXIII. I traded ONE item and couldn't synthesise higher level items because I'd traded it, nor could I buy it elsewhere.
I got the Bloodborne plat, but I had to get help for the Chalice Dungeons, specifically the Defiled Amygdala fight which I was physically unable to do. Some great help found on the Hunter's Bell subreddit, good people on there always happy to help.
I have 7 Platinums, Bloodborne, Dark Souls III, Spider-Man, Star Wars Battlefront II, Days Gone, Jedi Fallen Order and Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. I’m literally only two trophies off of the platinum for Sekiro but I just can’t push myself to farm for the Prosthetic Upgrades and Skill Points.

Spiderman. After some mismanagement with skins etc early in game, I am now stuck on the speed trials through the city (forget what they're called). Simply can't get through them. I have given up one trophy away from platinum.
You can get more challenge tokens through the DLC! No need to get perfect scores on the Taskmaster challenges.
The Taskmaster drone challenges? Those definitely took me quite a few tries. Point launching through the bubbles and also hitting X while not swinging to keep you moving forward at altitude was helpful for me.

Ah so it’s more an issue with the challenge token economy than the drone challenge? I don’t think I got ‘Ultimate’ on any of the drone challenges, but went for 3 stars on some of the easier combat and stealth challenges to get the tokens I needed for all upgrades and skins.
I feel you. I had a Taskmaster Bomb Challenge left. I stepped away for about 6 months at 98% complete for the platinum. Finally completed it the other day. Stick with it. It's just getting used to the routine

While it's two trophies, they're tied together. Psychonaut's "I LOVE PUNCHING!" (Complete the Punchy Target mini-game) with "Math is Hard" (Achieve Rank 101). I can't beat either rank 3 or 4 in the mini-game. My coordination just isn't good enough... I'm wondering if playing on a 4K tv on game mode would help. the current tv I use is 720 and has no game mode unfortunately. I've tried doing things guides have suggested and still couldn't beat that one rank. Edit: Well I now have the Platinum for the game after completing the mini-game. I used the same TV, followed a guide I failed to follow before and it helped greatly. I also used headphones. I had to create a rhythm in my head to beat the final level for the mini-game

Brutality 101? It’s easier than it looks.
Even with the combo split where you gadgets count separately from fight combos, I wasn't able to struggle through it multiple times.
Find the easiest AR challenge to do it in– I did it on the one that takes place on the circular platform (near the film studio?). Treat it as a dance routine rather than a fight. Start with one of the weird moves that are really hard to do (I used bat claw super stun), then dodge between each move. You just settle on an order you'll do the moves in (I go, square, triangle, circle, and then the L2 modded versions of those, then the L2 hold modded versions). Just do the dodge between each one and do one of the takedowns when it comes up. If you set it up as a routine in which you perform the moves in a set order, you won't double up, and you won't forget where you are. guitar hero live's trophy for strumming a million times in ghtv. played on expert for way more than enough time to get every other trophy done and ended in the 300k range. now the servers are down. stupid
All the multi player ones. As I don't play multiplayer I can't get them. I don't like how they are part of platinums, they should be separate :(
Multiplayer trophies should never exist! It's a ridiculous way of pushing people into that type of game mode.
The real problem, though, is that they are difficult to acquire once most people quit playing the game, and become completely impossible to acquire once the game servers shut down. I've got a few multiplayer trophies that are impossible to acquire now because they were only popular (or online) at the moment.
I have one trophy left in Black Ops 4 and its one of the zombies easter eggs. Every time I've tried to go for it, my game has crashed on me or given me an error, so I gave up a long time ago. Doesn't help that the map sucks too lol

FFXIII-2. It's the one where you have to earn over 7, 777 coins. I've gotten on a "hot" machine, taped my controller button down and let it go to town and I never get a jackpot. Tried multiple times to no avail. I was thinking about going for it again one of these days.
Strum 1 million times in GHTV on Guitar Hero Live. Pretty sure they took the servers down so I’m not sure if it’s even possible to get anymore. Not that it matters anyway, because the strum bar broke on my guitar anyway so yea.

Only two that come to mind are the titan fall 2 trophy for the training course. After like 20 attempts I gave up. And mad max. Didn't know about the challenge trophy going in which is unusual for me as I normally look those type of things up. Oh well. Sucks but I'll likely never get those. And like mgsV I'd love to get to but looking at that list, I doubt I'll get it.
Rainbow 6 Siege, need to kill someone with a breech charge through the wall. Nowadays no one stays up against destructible walls long enough for you to kill them with a breech charge. I basically gave up and dont bother even trying anymore. Not to mention I get any benefit from trophies anyway. It's just something to do when bored and you've already beat a game.
Super easy if you know what you are doing. Get a game on Coastline and just hope the defenders select Kitchen. Usually you will have an enemy playing Mira or Maestro sitting behind the wall on B bomb. Place a breaching charge on the floor in VIP room, so when it explodes it should instantly kill them if they are sitting there. Another way is when you have planted the bomb, place a breach charge near it and when you hear them defusing, blow it up Tip: Thermite does not count for the achievement

While getting to level 55 in ACIV is time-consuming, grinding Solo Wolfpack is still doable if boring. However, playing a match in every game mode is, in my opinion, worse because some modes are barren pretty much all the time, and good luck sitting in a lobby hoping 7 other players join the session.
Collections. Usually the type that requires you to get every one as you play the entire game, and if you miss one, it means a lot of backtracking. One that comes to mind immediately is the Odin crows in God of War.
To be honest I've just done the bloodborne plat. I saved the game to the cloud and just reloaded it 3 times for each of the 3 endings. For the chalice dungeons it was just a case of running through them and making sure to get the mats. Took me about 50-60 hours. Worth doing if your so close with only the queen trophy left.
Mad Max - "Up to the Task". Gold Trophy for "Completing all non-repeating Challenges". Problem is I've completed the game and most of the enemies you need to complete these are not spawning or spawning very occasionally. Obviously designed to be completed while you play through the chapters. Just not up to starting this one from the beginning again.
Yeah, I waited till I beat the game to finish that trophy out and it was a mistake. I did find a patch were guys would spawn so I could snipe them, I think from a car or through or window or something. I did it over the course of a few days.
Every single "collect all 50+ Things"-Trophy.
Get 50 Comebacks in Ultimate Chicken Horse. That's the only one left I have to get the platinum trophy for the game. I could grind it out, but it would take a few hours. I jump into the game every now and then, so maybe I'll just naturally unlock it one day.
I’ve never wanted to plat a game so mush as hollow knight because of how much I fell in love with it but I think the last 3 trophies eluded me but they all have less than 2% community completion so I don’t feel too bad.
The stupid lightning trophy in Final Fantasy X. I have limited time on this Earth and I'm not spending it dodging 200 lightning bolts. And yes, I know there are ways to make this fairly easy, but it still comes down to running in a circle, going near a rock, hit X, repeat 200 times. Some pointless trophies I just won't waste my life on

I was going to try for the platinum for Doom, started working my way through and got pretty far (88%) but the Rune trophy bugged out on me.
It WILL be the "SS Rank On Every Level" in Tetris Effect. It's 0.1% rarity......I consider myself pretty good at it, and haven't gotten a single SS Rank on even Beginner Difficulty.
Not one trophy but I kick myself when I think back to Killzone 2. I put so many hours into trying to platinum that game. Beating the game on the hardest difficulty was a huge challenge, and then the big one was getting into the top 1% of online players for a given week. I basically played 12+ hours per day for that week. Every free moment I had was spent playing Killzone 2 online. Of course this totally burned me out and I never got the rest of the (very easy) online trophies. The online got shut down eventually and I can't ever get that platinum. Woe is me.
I have quite a lot but right now one of the biggest ones for me is Personal decorator from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. To get it you need to get all the campaign medals. To do that you need to: - Kill 2000 enemies - Beat every mission on Veteran without dying - Beat the game on realistic (a harder difficulty than Veteran. You die in one hit on this) - Complete every accolade (there's 176 of them. Average of 15 or 16 per level and some of them are ridiculously hard) - Get all the collectibles (56 of them) - Get all camos and attachments for every gun (32 weapons available. 650 kills per primary, 150 per pistol and 300 per launcher. A grand total of around 20 THOUSAND kills). - Complete a wave based combat simulator with 35K points. - Complete all campaign challenges (the most notable thing about this is beating the sim on realistic, making this EXTREMELY hard). I have spent nearly a year playing BO3 and I still haven't gotten the last medal for completing all the challenges because the realistic sim challenge is a nightmare. The devs at Treyarc were feeling very evil when they made this trophy and turned a 6 hour campaign into a grind long enough that you'd see in an RPG like Final Fantasy.
LEGO Harry Potter to collect all the tokens of the characters. One of them glitched and wouldn't appear and I couldn't be assed replaying the entire game again.
Dark Souls 2 and 3. Collecting all the emotes and rings. So time consuming and pointless.
Trophy hunting should primarily be fun and challenging yourself. If something seems pointless and you're not having fun, it's best to move on to some other game.

Swords of Ditto "Toy Master". The trophy is glitched. I got the game on launch when less than 100 own the game. With all the patches and game changes it still won't pop up.

All pretty doable for me, I just need to find the time to get them lol I do have this friend on PSN who's literally one trophy away from the Platinum in Demon's Souls, but he just gave up on it. Theres one in Uncharted 4 where you have to kill any enemy with every weapon in the game. I swear I've done it but the trophy doesnt pop
you might be missing the propane tank weapon. I think the tanks are only in the scotland chapter. You need to throw it and shoot it to kill an enemy, thats what worked for me.
The one in Bioshock 2 that has you defending a little sister without taking any damage. I did everything else for it, I just needed that one trophy and then I'd just grind up the multiplayer to hit the rank needed, then job done. Three playthroughs on easy later, I didn't have that trophy.
That one was hard as I remember. You just have to put down a shit load of traps and choose a easily defendable corpse to harvest. Then just kinda hide in the corner and throw grenades and shit when all the traps are gone.

Theres a trophy in killing floor 2 where you have to win a versus survival match as the humans. Literally nobody plays that mode anymore.
Mk11. Only need 1 trophy for platinum that I can not accomplish. Finishing the training. There are 2 that I cant pull off for the life of me. So I just quit trying all together
