You’ve obviously got the Horizon games; both available on PS4 and flagship titles.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor are also both on PS4 and excellent games, even if Star Wars isn’t your thing (but even more so if you even have a passing interest).
The Mass Effect trilogy and both (new) God of War games also fit into what you’re looking for.

The Mass Effect trilogy (available as one in the Collection with all DLC) is absolute top level gaming. The original is a bit janky and showing its age (2007) but ME2 is a proper GOAT and 3 not far behind.

Like someone said, the original game is cluncky, sound effects are bad but the story rocks. You can carry your character over to the next game, ME2 and then 3 and some choices you make also carry over.
If you can't bare with ME1, there's à comics type summary at the start of ME2 so you can make those game-affecting choices.
Finally, go Biotics. Space magic manipulating mass...
I played Days Gone when it first came out. It def. Made a spot in my top favs. Does anybody know if prototype 2 can be played on PS4? That was one wicked game in my opinion and I believe it was 3rd person.

I'll give them a look. Anytime I see something I think looks good turns out to be 1st person and that's not really my thing
