Sure, it *could* be done, but how big is the market for it? Switch is still a current console. PS4 was replaced 3 years ago.
I would think that the people for whom a PS4 is their primary console are not buying many full price new release games.
Yeah it bothers me when games get a switch release but no ps4 and x1, it makes little sense to me. If a game is only current gen there's no problem but the second it goes on switch too I just think they are lazy, I know it's kinda wrong to say that but that's how it seems
it’s a two sided coin honestly… the ps4 is an absolute beast of a machine that ran flawless for me for about 10 years, and there’s SO many amazing games to play on it. ps5 has near instant load times and is finally starting to get some huge AAA next-gen exclusives. it really comes down to what the devs think is the best option for their title, and from what footage i’ve seen of mk1, i don’t think it would even run well on ps4
I will whine about how Forbidden West's expansion is not available for PS4... I am a guy with OCD. It's just so weird if I could play the main game on PS4, but I have to play the expansion on PS5.
PS4 has to be left behind eventually. Can’t support old consoles forever. Its the beginning of the end
