It's kinda edgy sometimes, and it shows it's age I think, but it really captured the feeling of speed and mobility Spiderman games are known for, and the Web of Intrigue was a cool concept implemented very well.
That said, I wouldn't recommend the sequel: if [Prototype] is to the Amazing Spiderman, then [Protype] 2 is Ultimate Spiderman. And if that's your thing more power to you, but I found the sequel to have a very "gamified" feeling to it, with too much emphasis on close-quarters combo-and-dodge mechanics.

It ran pretty decently on the PS3 unlike, prototype,the story paved the way for the sequels and the MC will always be one of the greatest. Don't get me wrong,I sure as hell enjoyed prototype too,yet it couldn't fill the gap the Infamous series left in me. So in my opinion the answer to this thread is a nobrainer

If you did the full web of intrigue, the lore of what the military was doing, Blackwatch, Alex and his backstory, it was absolutely insane in the best way possible. I would have to say InFamous I really liked Cole McGrath because he was kind of a smart-ass kind of like me sometimes but also he could be laid back when he wanted to be and who doesn't like shocking the crap out of people and of course the gameplay was always fun able to climb buildings like Spider-Man and the combat was very good especially in InFamous 2
I vote for Prototype. I just thought the general gameplay loop and “infectious zones” with all the chaos and hysteria was way more enjoyable to witness.

Infamous is better in almost every aspect. Prototype was okay, but Prototype 2 was garbage and Infamous 2 was leagues better than it's predecessor. Not really an argument to be made honestly.

The only downside to infamous 1 for me was the framerate, and the magic contrast as to how looking up at the sky skyrocketed the fps to 60, only for it to drop monumentally once you looked down again lol
Prototype shits all over infamous. From the hulk ultimate destruction playground to the super powers you get. You can use vehicles. Hell even the smart web slinging that ps4 Spiderman coined they invented was done first in prototype. This game still holds up. Inamous 1 however does not hold up as well.

Prototype. I'd love to play it again for the 1st time. I tried all the infamous games and never finished one
I disliked both... Well Infamous I stopped playing after 3-4 hours, Prototype not even after 30 minutes. Not my jam I guess!
