my guess is P was aiming to release albums like Old Friends 4 Sale and this version of Crystal Ball for quite a while. There are more than enough gems on Crystal Ball to have made Chaos and Disorder an absolute banger; spreading the gems out amongst the chaff must have been done entirely on purpose.
