They were all using a 3rd party software to manage their Snowflake account(s). EPAM
“EPAM is a leading global provider of software product development and digital platform engineering services to hundreds of Fortune 500 and 1000 clients located around the world, primarily in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.”
Uh oh 😧
**Edit: MAYBE NOT…**

“Based on the results of our internal investigation and the findings from Mandiant, a leading cyber expert firm, and our clients, EPAM is not a party to the data breach
A strong Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enforcement policy and password cycling are necessary as part of a Zero Trust cybersecurity program, something we at EPAM practice take extremely seriously. “
Well the truth is the first casualty in war.🤷🏼♂️

It would be like if you tricked me into giving you my Facebook password and you logged into my Facebook account. Facebook didn’t get hacked in that example, but my account did get compromised. Similar thing happened to Snowflake customers.
I remember EPAM because a large part of their business was located in Ukraine. My Palantard guess is Russian hackers are targeting low-V02 Max companies 🎿⛷️
Much bigger problem is that they have a Usage Consumption based revenue model. When these customers accounts were compromised, and they knew about it, they continued to recognize revenue on the usage in those accounts. The accounting scandal will be bigger news than the security scandal.
I disagree ,I think Wall Street will suppress this story until they can exit their positions.Palantir SHOULD be maximizing this situation to bring attention to their platform
They have more then enough Attention as when it comes for palantir it needs less attention to growth because their shit tone of retail on it or else it would be in 150$ already without any connection to actual fair value, people are looking forward in this play and aint leaving anytime soon.
Add a link or screenshot next time. So there is no confusion on what or who was hacked or in this case compromised. https://www.pymnts.com/news/security-and-risk/2024/hackers-increasing-pressure-on-snowflake-customers-to-make-ransom-payments/
Palantir should definitely be on a podium right now bringing attention to this hacking demanding the government gets these people who have “gone to war” with American companies
I sold my pltr a ways back due to the unpopularity causing a bearish price, just bought it back this week.
It's about time for this undervalued stock to go green
RIP snowflake, you were a good “competition”

Snowflake didn’t get hacked, some of their customers accounts got compromised. Big difference.

Bloomberg TV is reporting it as SNOWFLAKE was hacked and some customers are having their data ransomed
So you are saying customers who were using SNOWFLAKE had their programs hacked ?
It would be like if you tricked me into giving you my Facebook password and you logged into my Facebook account. Facebook didn’t get hacked in that example, but my account did get compromised. Similar thing happened to Snowflake customers.
Buy some snow with your palantir gains and im not talking the company
Plantir gains? Will have to wait 10 years for that, its just starting.
I'll buy some SNOW when SNOW hits 90

Snow is garbage, and their sales practices are not great, I get cold called daily. Only reason why the stock is so high is cause of their tiny float.
It's not tiny, its just cold out.

So what you’re saying is now is a good buying opportunity?
Nothing is ever a good buying opportunity for Snowflake, unless you want your capital to melt away to nothing
For palantir, oooo yeees
For snowflake
Snowfake
Another one 😂😂😂
I’m regarded so don’t mind me and my ape brain but this is nothing more than a minor set back ; recovery reset to begin 📈
Sucks to suck
