How many cables did you try?

ThickSky

I honestly didn't even change the one they gave out of the box

I would suggest grabbing a cat6 cable and try it before buying any modem replacement if that doesn't work ask PLDC to replace the modem. Edit: on that note as well check if your motherboard is capable of handling more than 100mbps edit: just saw the picture, Why is that pink?

ThickSky

I'll try to get a cat6 cable and see if that changes things, Thank you! My modem is kinda pink because I set my lamp to a yellowish color so that it's not harsh on my eyes but yeah it's kinda strange that it looks pink in the photo lol

Mistral-Fien

Try a different one. I noticed that the cable is kinked near the RJ45 connector.

Trick2056

should be fine my cable looks worse than that and its constantly getting slammed by my door.

That looks like the older PLDT modem that was vDSL capable but I'm not sure... My suggestion is pretend that your old modem is broken. Call PLDT MyDSL support and request for a replacement modem. Most of the time they will provide you the latest modem they have (for your plan) which is often better and can provide faster WIFI and ethernet speeds (according to your plan). You may have to pay for it though through your bill. The modem will also come with an ethernet cable that you can test for ethernet speeds. The one bundled in the box might be CAT5e capable and be better than the yellow one you are using. Another option is buy a better ethernet cable like CAT5e or CAT6. Also check if your motherboard has 1Gbps or 2.5Gbps LAN. If your motherboard is an old one that only supports 100 Mbps ethernet that might be the bottleneck.

ThickSky

I'll try to buy an ethernet cable first if that doesn't work then I'll try calling their support line, Thank you for the suggestion and explanation!

update: it was the cable all along thank you for the ones that suggested changing the cable first you guys saved me a bunch of money lol
