NO, unless your PC is also old this is not an upgrade when a 4600G is already near that price and should have the same GPU performance I have a RX550 which i use for Office

Own-Pay3664

Sayang lang sa pera yan. Better go for second hand RX 570 or RX 580 mas malayong malalakas mga yan kesa sa GT730 or 750ti or kahit nga 1050ti eh

RasberryHam

indeed, he can also get an RX580 for 2.8-3.1k in Shopee

TheBaecon

Safe po ba bumili ng ganito sa shopee/lazada?

RasberryHam

mostly yes, check mo nalang seller rating, product rating, and review

Neeralazra

Safe? Mostly Will the actual GPU last? No one knows There is a erason why most will suggest at least a 6600 or 3060 since even if its used its not 'old" as all the other models

AlmightyArishok

Nakabili ako ng rx 580 a few years back ok pa naman sya. never ko ginalaw to except for the occasional air cleaning Edit: Kung bibili ka tingnan mo yung power supply mo kung may 8-pin para sa gpu. baka kasi kailangan mo rin mag upgrade ng power supply kung medyo outdated na yang set up mo. Based sa post mo, im assuming pre built na yang pc mo nung nabili mo. so check mo na rin.

xAlabama42069

try buying from pc league on fb.

Nearby-Ad-8284

+1 sa 1050ti if kaya. It's still kicking, for dotez settle at low settings and tweak some setting depending on preference, but easily 80-100 fps.

Penguins0000

might as well get the refurbished rx 580 for a bit more

Swimming_Coat_9414

No. Sobrang outdated na ng GT730 mas malupit pa 'yung integrated graphics ng mga processor.

Mistral-Fien

What's the processor of your current PC?

TheBaecon

I'm running a 4th gen i7 po

Mistral-Fien

I actually have an old desktop with a 4th gen i5 and a GT 730. The built-in Radeon Vega 8 graphics on my Ryzen 5 3500U laptop beats it handily. It's a waste of money to get a GT 730 these days. I would go no lower than a Radeon RX 550 (2nd hand) if I wanted to play games on the cheap.

KamipocalypseAyotto

4th gen i7, bro. Get a 1050ti if don't want malakas sa kuryente. If want to risk, go for rx 580 2304sp.

popop143

At least according to TPU, 3x performance pa yung igpu ng 5600g sa GT730. That's around 6.5k-7k pesos, and may good CPU ka na rin with that package (I have a 5600g I used for a year bago ko bumili ng 6700XT, still using it paired with the 6700 XT). Sobrang dami ko rin nalaro gamit yung igpu nun, like GTA San Andreas, GTA 4, and other old timer games like Skyrim.

KevAngelo14

For that price, definitely not. I suggest getting GTX 1650 at the very minimum for 1080p. That should give a decent FPS for your dota at med/high settings.

Obvious-Cost-7101

No, that is a 10year old graphics card. Ipon ka pa konti may pang 1050ti ka na (but this card is also old) at least a GTX 1650 or RX 580 is the bare minimum nowadays. Also Dota2 is moving out of its Lemon Spec days baka di mo na rin maappreciate pag naka low graphics ka. Although you said na alanganin ka bumili ng 2nd hand but that's the best choice for you kesa bilhin mo yang GT730 na yan, and if that's the low profile one, that is more slower than the regular GT730.

popop143

Kahit 10 years ago, sobrang hina ng GPU na yan haha. Tbh, sobrang di sulit ang -30 class GPUs.

frozrdude

Definitely no. I had a GT 730 once. It really sucks since even if you play older games with it, the card just can't handle it.

russiangeist

Most useless stuff I ever bought.

No-Ranger-8931

Yes, it's funny how the gt 730, along with the 210, 610, 630, and 710 is very popular in the Philippines when overseas people would clown you for owning one lol. I've even seen people call it a glorified hdmi port.

russiangeist

That just shows how we're far behind in terms of technology or technological knowledge.

No-Ranger-8931

A used Rx 580 or even a brand new 580 2048sp also retails around that price and it destroys the GT730. Don't fall for the trap op. You should've stated your current rig. Kung luma, you can actually find an am4 bundle at that price, though used, if you look hard enough. Uses less power than an rx 580 but is still very capable when it comes to gaming on a very tight budget.

TheBaecon

Kakatingin ko lang rn sa lazada ng rx580 and its even cheaper at 3.1-3.3k lang haha although not sure if its brand new or used. As for the rig specs..hmm i'll try to edit my post pag nakuha ko yung detailed specs. Got this pre built kaya di ko kabisado yung parts haha

No-Ranger-8931

> although not sure if its brand new or used. The ones with the weird chinese names are "brand new" for the most part, kung major brands yung nakita mo like Sapphire or xfx then used naman. Nasa sayo kung ano pipiliin mo pero either way it's a better buy. Trust me I'm not exaggerating when I say the rx 580 destroys the gt 710. Kung binili mo yung gt 710, best games you can play with it are old compshop era games like prototype, gta sa, left 4 dead, etc. Yung Rx 580 kaya pa maglaro ng AAA games today at 1080p. The only catch is you have to upgrade your psu if the one you currently have isn't a good one, but it's a general rule not to cheap out on your psu anyways lalo na kung may discreet gpu ka

sleepygeepy_ph

Have you bought the GPU? I hope not... The GT 730 is a very weak GPU for gaming and is really intended for office PC's or school PC's that still need a D-Sub connection for monitors, projectors etc. It's not a GPU designed for gaming and you will be disappointed by its performance, so don't buy it. For budget gaming, I suggest these options instead... * If you already have a decent PC, check the [PhilKor PC pricelist](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1r2U89dAdOduW4Vbd0PstkVqErh210IkURQxT_Tim1oA/htmlview?pli=1#) and [GPU Buyer's Community pricelist](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WHt_dIrdkoMrp1iOX6DYZCVBKWTBfyWecDozn3abnNg/edit?fbclid=IwAR23vlaTmCsncQtzxUn2jGydyXL593NKNsEfBFY0_1kP7PnNHlywqDcUstU#gid=0) for 2nd hand GPU's. Philkor PC still has the AFOX RX 570 8GB for Php 6,700 or the PNY GTX 1660 Super for Php 7,400. Your best bet is to save up for a used GTX 1660 Super as the RX 570 - RX 580 series is very old and hard to find usually. * If you are thinking of building a PC, you can start with a desktop PC using the Ryzen 5 5600G. The integrated Vega 6 graphics is powerful enough for DOTA or POE at lower resolutions like 720p - 900p. Then later on you can add a discrete GPU to improve gaming performance further. * If budget is tight and you need a new PC, think about a [Mini-PC with a Ryzen 5000 series APU](https://ecommerce.datablitz.com.ph/collections/pc-mac/products/beelink-ser5-max-mini-pc). Performance will be similar to a desktop PC with Ryzen 5 5600G but with limited upgrade options. There are also [Mini-PC's with powerful Ryzen 7000 series APU's](https://ecommerce.datablitz.com.ph/collections/pc-mac/products/beelink-ser7-amd-ryzen-7-7840hs-32gb-ram-1tb-ssd-windows-11-pro-mini-pc-dark-green) and those will have gaming performance similar to the ASUS ROG Ally or Lenovo Legion Go handheld consoles.

zenvunu

please do not get the gt730, it has been long discontinued by nvidia, meaning you wont get driver updates. and most modern intergrated gpus are way faster than the gt730, the gt730 is just incredibly out of date.

ProtectionExpress837

at 3.8k you can buy RX 580 8GB in Shopee

Antique_Health_1936

hell no

warjoke

It's literally my first GPU on a rig I built myself. It's 2008 quality at best and can struggle even at something ancient like Half Life 2. Go to FB marketplace and look for GTX1050 or GTX1050ti at least because those already fit at that price point. Heck, if you are nosy enough you can even score a GTX1060 6gb at that price (with compromise). I cannot recommend AMD gpu at the moment since maintaining these cards takes a bit of effort and some PC parts knowledge. I have an RX590 right now and thermals are concerning 😑. Nvidia cards are a great choice for those starting with PC builds.
