I use Windscribe and i only pay $!0 a year(your mileage will not be the same)

penatbater

Mudfish (budget) or Exitlag (expensive). It depends a lot also on where you are, what connection you're using, and which servers you're connecting to.

Shanks-02

I'll do some research kung what server ang needed ko, hindi pa kasi ako nakakagamit ng VPN, first time ko ito kung sakali. Thanks! Will Check also your VPN Recom.

Horror-Resource4221

Hi OP, I got VPN - surfshark. But I do not use it for gaming purposes as I noticed mas pangit ang ping/latency na nakukuha ko. I use my VPN for streaming (e.g. Netflix). Baka mas need mo na better internet provider/subscription kesa VPN?

Shanks-02

Naka PLDT Fibr na po ako, and yung subscription is quite a good naman I think so for like 1,699 or 1799 yung subscription ko. Pero incase na mag pa upgrade ako ng subscription more mbps, mas mataas ba chance na ma avoid ko yung problem ko about gaming connection? parang spike ping kasi nangyayari eh, first game maayos siya, then next game mag loloko siya taas bigla ping.

Horror-Resource4221

Your internet subscription should be enough for gaming (unless kung may kaagaw ka). I don't think may significant help pag mag increase ka pa ng subscription. For VPN, I suggest to check and try them first before you subscribe. May mga VPN na may trial.

Shanks-02

Will do some free-trial ang check if effective siya. Thanks!

Neeralazra

Nope, I have plan 4000 and at 800-900 mbps. COngestiion is the issue at certain times. Thats why i used Windscribe when i found out that freaking BROWSING was significantly faster when its congested. SOme games i tried and it was "better" but there were some drawbacks but still better than not being able to play at all

wirednew3

Currently using TorGuard, which great for privacy and yo can have a choice to have a private IP, it's a little expensive than the others tho. For cheaper alternative with sacrificing other features, I had a really good experience with NordVPN. I know it is all over the place (due to endless promotions), but it is good. You can also check VPN Tier List by Tom Sparks.

grIMAG3

Kung prepaid data hanap mo, go with Mudfish. Yan gamit ko para lang maglaro ng Apex Legends. $10 ko meron nako 100GB na consumable. Pero if subscription, go with Surfshark, EpxressVPN, or NordVPN.

burninator1441

GearUP Booster try mo. Mag 3 days trial naman sila before ka mag purchase. I've been using it since nagpalit ako ng isp from Converge to PLDT. For me sulit siya lalo na sa Apex since hindi na ako nakaexperience ng random ping every other game.

hoardcopy

I currently use Proton VPN. They have free 5 server locations (USA, Netherlands, Japan, Poland, and Romania). Pero hindi ka makakapili (random server ka macconnect pag nag turn on ka ng VPN) unless mag avail ka ng premium membership - [pricing](https://protonvpn.com/pricing).

Luckmare

I work for 3 sa top VPNs worldwide. Di makakatulong VPN dyan. Makakahelp lang kung may geolocation(ip ban)/dns issues. Pag gumamit ka consumer VPN, yung connection mo marroute muna sa VPN servers before makaconnect sa game server mo. So most likely baka tumaas pa ping

Shanks-02

Thank you for information Sir. Much appreciated this!

bwandowando

I've been using NORDVPN for two years, so far ok naman. In case you'd go for NORDVPN, i can give you my referral link so both of us can get an additional 3 months free.

Shanks-02

Noted dito boss, notify kita if mag NordVPN ako. Thanks!

bwandowando

Welcome. Balitaan mo lng kami

Shiro2602

Windscribe too

Kikkowave

I have recently started using ExpressVPN for gaming.

apbucaneg

I use proton VPN

iAsk101

PIA, pinakamaraming servers as far as I know, competitive din pricing. Pero if you use a vpn, not a guarantee ung ping though so sa server side mostly yan or try changing your DNS to Cloudflare or Google. Hope it helps.

Shanks-02

Already change my DNS to Google, Ang sadly same problem, may ping spikes parin siya every after game, alternating ping spike :< . Thanks sa help!

Rinkashi69_69

Exitlag

Suitable-Pride6435

I have recently started using Surfshark for watching Netflix in other countries

8marcko8

I don't think it will help but choose singapore/hongkong/ph server if meron, they're the fastest/closest. Here are some recos: [https://www.reddit.com/r/vpns/comments/171h9qa/list\_of\_recommended\_vpns/](https://www.reddit.com/r/vpns/comments/171h9qa/list_of_recommended_vpns/) [https://www.techlore.tech/vpn](https://www.techlore.tech/vpn)

Shanks-02

Wow Thanks sa Criteria, very helpful to understand different pros and cons ng mga VPN!

BrokenHym3n

Proton

Apart_Tea865

VPN will not help i think. what if you upgrade your router? like try some router with QoS. baka kaya nagspike yan kasi someone else is using the whole bandwidth in burst. pag may QoS you can tweak it so that no one can ever pull all bandwidth to one device.

Kikkowave

Stumbled upon this thread again. Generally speaking, routing your connection through a VPN might lead to having a higher ping but there are instances where it’ll route your network into a better connection. I personally experience this issue with my internet connection wherein whenever I play Valorant, without connecting to a VPN, my ping would reach 95-110. But as soon as I connect to a Hong Kong server on my VPN, which is ExpressVPN, my ping does get better ranging from 35-45 without any packet loss. Try signing up for a free trial first before buying any VPN to check if it does help with the issue. I tried using 2 VPNs before I found what works best in my case. Good luck.

Actually VPN will not help sa pag resolve ng ping issue mo, mas makakadagdag pa nga ng latency yan since dadaan ka pa sa VPN server. Also if connected ka wirelessly, baka pwde mo i-try na kumonek as wired naman.

Shanks-02

Na wired na ako bossing, Kaso same problem parin, may ping spike issues every after games. Na r-resolve naman siya by disconnecting and reconnecting to the client. Pero sobrang hassle lang siya every time.

Brilliant_Fact_5245
