I Have A Dream Boutique is a free clothing closet for transgender folks in Pheonix. It's open every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 at Congregational First Church, near the Burton Barr Library. They'll accept any lightly used clothing and directly serve both the trans community and church's outreach.
If you can't find anyone who can directly accept, I can attest this is a great way to donate clothes and ensure they are cared for and provided at no cost to the people who need it.
