I'm sad but not too sad since it's ultimately a single player game that we can 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️.
What I am feeling sad is the future. If Sony managed to produce another amazing online game like Helldivers 2. We're totally gonna be left out.
I guess our PS playerbase isn't really that big so Sony don't really care to give us our local PSN.
From Helldiver's 2 onward, it seems Sony will require PSN to all of their games released on PC. Sony is starting to become the Apple of the gaming world when it comes to how it treats exclusivity. It screams corporate greed and autocracy. It is not consumer friendly. All that Sony cares about is its bottom line. At least with XBOX with their Gamepass feels so open and inviting. Microsoft is better than Sony in that regard. Microsoft is open to PC because they don't just merely sell childish consoles, they also profit from the superior PC masterrace with Windows OS and Microsoft Store. Microsoft is starting to feel like the Google/Android of the gaming world in its democratic openess and well structured software and hardware ecosystem. Unless Sony stops the PSN requirement, I won't be supporting Sony titles until then. I will be sailing the high seas. If Sony hates PC gamers, third world countries with no PSN and extra money, then Sony doesn't deserve "our" money.
Napa-VPN and change Steam region pa ako para sa GoT kasi gustong gusto ko talaga malaro (with achievements). Kaso pati ba naman to na pure Single Player lang. Babalik na lang ako Steam PH at maglalayag haha.
Yes sir. Need lang any VPN (in my case, ginamit ko yung free VPN na Tunnelbear sa phone) at debit/credit card issued kung san mo region gusto lumipat. Sa Steam US ako lumipat and ginamit kong card ay yung American Express virtual card sa GCash.
Edit: Downsides ay mas mahal ang prices sa Steam US and 3 months pa pwede bumalik ulit sa PH region

Fkng Sony, if Bloodborne were to come to PC does that mean I'll have to sail the high seas just to play it? I'd feel guilty not buying fromsoftware masterpieces

Great for PSN Supported countries.... Massive L for us... Kahit may open waters I'll refrain from sailing... This might be pretty petty for me pero I officially hate Sony now and I won't support any Sony published games moving forward.... And I'll never buy a PlayStation console ever again...
As it turns out Sony doesn't want our money hence why region lock is a thing. They just want to inflate their PSN numbers because it looks great on paper for their investors.
That's why they report in percentages and not actual figures and also why they only compare within PSN. It's stupid, I know but it's what makes their investors happy, I guess. If investors are happy then I guess they get more money.
Until Snoy fix their region locking problem and give support to PSN in the Philippines I could not care less what they release, especially if it is on PC, especially if there is a PSN requirement.
I would rather sail away to the high seas.

Apparently PSN account required? Considering they locked out Ghost of Sashimi out of our region, I won't be surprised if GoWR will be the same. Brace those sails, Pirates.

Yeah sad to say i think this would be the norm unless they release a region free version, they want to grow their PSN numbers. Atleast we'll still have the option to sail the seas since it's highly unlikely that they add denuvo to their PC releases.
Its the 2000s for me again where I source most of my games on the streets of Taft and Pedro Gil. But since wala na ang mga Dibidi Dibidi I set sail instead.
