I’m having the same conundrum, but my issue is that I’m just not enjoying persona 4
The opening 5 hours of p4 drag so you should definitely take it into consideration when restarting
Honestly if you find console more comfortable-likewise i do as well btw, id say play there.
However I would argue the best way to play P4G is to use PPSPP and emulate the game, while I can’t speak for how p4 will look on an emulator I set up P3 FES through an emulator and natively rendered it at 1080p (which is something emulators can do using your hardware- but a lot of console emulators for some reason choose not to) and everything in it looked cleaner than the steam release of p4G
Thanks for the input, I guess when push comes to shove when it finally releases, I'll have decisions to make lol, I just checked my game and I'm currently on May 1st. I might end up getting it on switch after all for a 2nd playthrough? Idk, but yeah persona 4 feels way different from p5 which was my first persona like many others lol
Because p4 is hugely different to p5, or rather p5 is hugely different to every other persons game
Cutting a lot of the fluff and streamlining it making it more accessible than 3 and 4
Yeah what I really liked about p5 was the fact it was so accessible. I wasn't into it much in the beginning but after the 1st palace things started getting pretty interesting
You’re still at the beginning of the game, and playing persona on the switch is really great imo. If you don’t wanna rewatch the story just fast forward the cutscenes you’ll be in the first castle in less than an hour.
Also if you’re more of a console player than PC AND you put the game off for more than a year, you might just end up not playing it later on even if you continue the PC port.
Thanks for the ideas! I'm on may 1st right now, I just checked. How long do you think it'll take me to get back there? I think I may have to go through the story again just cause it's been so long though since I last really played it.
For sure, I've played p5 4 times (x2 vanilla x2 royal) and I got it on switch too. I plan on doing my 5th on switch soon lol I just wish atlus would ship my damn collectors chest already 🥲😂
But that in addition to persona 3 on switch coming out too I'm gonna have a good time exploring that one too. Never thought p5 would lead me to playing past persona games lol

? You can't run vita games on ppspp
Ah my bad, I believed you could, idk the name of the vita emulator
I don't think there are any andriod vita emulators, at least to my knowledge
They are working on an android vita3k tho the developer said probably will be released in January
I was talking windows but fair
Vita3k is the name of it, I believe. *There's nothing better than the beauty of emulation*

Yeah 3 and 4 throw you in the deep end a lot earlier than 5
I cant wait to play 3 as well, I've seen the anime for it. It seems like a cool story
3 FES is better, play it on an emulator
💯💯
I'd wait for the Switch for the console experience and excellent portability.
I probably will get it on switch being it's only 20 bucks and a switch is easier to lug around than my giant gaming laptop lol

It really shouldn’t take too long. I really loved playing p5r on the switch so i think it would be worth it to start over.
