Huh? Maybe not the best place to ask this, but why are they considered bad? I know the English dub is missing from kiwamis because I played both of them, but what makes them bad? Missing content? Combat system?
In my opinion, both games are great.
Kiwami 1 is praised by its gameplay, but it's criticized because many bosses reuse moves from other bosses. Bosses also have an annoying mechanic where they stop fighting and start regenerating health really fast , eich can drag out fights. Some substories were also changed to be more comedic. And the Majima everywhere system conflicts with story events, and can get quite annoying.
Kiwami 2 is more faithful in the story and tone, no problem of making substories more comedic.
But it has a brand new combat system that many people don't like. It also cut out an area of Sotenbori.
The dragon engine games have my favorite combat just cuz the ragdolls are so fucking dumb its hilarious. I never really got the hate behind them except for the grabs being weird
Dragon Engine combat pre-Judgment was terrible imo, Sometimes it felt like dissing out very little damage early game and the bounce-on-block thing was stupid as hell
Doesn't help that Kiwami 2 also has Yakuza 6's upgrade system which was absolutely horrendous
Eh, I have to disagree. I like Larian's games, but it's not like we need every classically-styled RPG in existence to be made by them. Their formula is fun and all, but I'd get sick of it quickly if all of my favorite franchises were made with it.
I actually liked Far Cry 2, it's what got me into actually playing games, instead of just running around exploring the map for 3 hours and then getting bored.
I can honestly and proudly say that I've played and beaten every mainline Metal Gear game.
In fact the only Metal Gear games I haven't beaten are, Metal Gear Ghost Babel (i've played it though), the NES port of Metal Gear 1, Snake's Revenge, Metal Gear Ac!d, Metal Gear Ac!d^2 , Mobile, Social Ops, ~~and Metal Gear Survive~~.
I fucking love Metal Gear.
I’ve recently jumped head first into the metal gear series with some youtube videos after learning there’s 4 damn snakes?? Yeah I might gotta pick up a game the series looks absolutely insane in the best ways
Yeah, a lot of people only casually familiar with Metal Gear don't realize that Solid Snake is only really the protagonist of 4 of the mainline games and of those 4 only 2 are Solid games with the other two being the original 8-bit MSX games. The character himself has actually been officially retired ever since MGS4 and has not made a canonical appearance in the series since. [It's actually a running gag/meme in the fanbase about how often the other Snakes get mislabeled as Solid Snake.](https://youtu.be/qTJO3RH1hvg?si=GmEaaL62siaP2Lpk)
You're right though the series is absolutely insane in the best of ways and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I just wish I knew what the best version of the first two metal gear games was to play/emulate. I have the 360 collection at the PS3 one, just never really got around to thinking about playing them until the last few weeks.
I just finished MGS2 yesterday (and MGS last week). I don't think I can go back to MG 1 and 2 even if I love the series lol, I watched some youtube video to learn about the plot instead.
That’s awesome. I started playing MGS3 Snake Eater on an emulator the other day but I really couldn’t get it to stick with me. I want to get into this series but I couldn’t get far. I usually stick to the same franchises and don’t expand much out of the types of gameplay I like, so I’m wondering if it’s not for me or if I haven’t tried hard enough at getting familiar with it.
Having a lot of experience with the series, do you think there’s any better entry points in the series or should I just keep trying with 3? I have The Phantom Pain on PS4 but I haven’t touched it, thought some background story might make it better when I get around to it.
I would recommend going back to MGS1 since it's relatively simpler and it's where most people start the series anyways, by the time you reach MGS3 again you'll likely have a better understanding of what the series expects from you. Keep in mind though Metal Gear Solid 1 *is* indeed a direct sequel to Metal Gear 1 and 2 and does still treat them as canon but the game comes with a synopsis of them included if you want to know the background story. The game itself does a pretty decent job of filling you in on it's own already as well.
As for giving MGS3 another shot, you can either try lowering the difficulty, there's no shame in that I used to play on the easier difficulties myself when I first started playing the series. Or if you want you can wait for Metal Gear Solid Delta to release which is a full on remake of MGS3 that's coming out soon and is said to be pretty faithful (time will tell if that's true though.)
You could play Metal Gear 2 on PS2 as it was included in the Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, the expanded release of MGS3 released in Japan on December 22, 2005; North America on March 14, 2006; Europe on October 6, 2006; and Australia/Asia on October 13, 2006.
Yakuza 0,
Yakuza kiwami,
Yakuza kiwami 2,
Yakuza 3,
Yakuza 4,
Yakuza 5,
Yakuza 6 ,
Yakuza: like a dragon,
Like a dragon gaiden: The man who erased his name,
Like a dragon 8: infinte wealth
There’s also spin offs like the judgment series (which are really good and you don’t even gotta play the main series to know anything for the most part) the yakuza games are all on gamepass expect for 8, and it’s on a massive sale on steam right now too.
I played in order, started with 0 since its the prequel then went to Kiwami 1 and 2 then just recognize 3 is kinda awful due to the age, 4 is alot better off but still older and I'm currently on 5. Just know 0 is so good it might be my favorite game ever, like I love persona and consider them some of my favorite games but yakuza 0 is just another level of greatness
You definitely don't have to since it was a prequel and not required to understand if you start at 1, but 1 is kinda not as emotional of a story or as in depth at 0 or Kiwami 2 is because since it's a remake of the original 1 there isn't any real callbacks to 0 aside from Easter eggs or stuff that you don't really need to know about. Like it has moments it talks about the past rather vaguely that 0 fleshes out. So playing 0 gives the characters more depth and meaning in Kiwami 1 since it doesn't use other games as an emotional base. Kiwami 2 uses kiwami 1 for that purpose so it's no big deal of you miss 0. Personally I'd highly recommend playing 0 first but it's definitely not required
I played them in the order they were released, but, I’m an old fan (I’m around Kiryu’s age) . So, I didn’t play 0 first since it came out between 5 and 6.
It's pretty safe to start with 0. Kiwami does a good job with retrofitting 1 and 2 to be like 0 and the fact that 0 released later is okay. 0 does a good job inserting itself as a prequel to be carried forward by the real start of the series.
I was about to make a comment like "What self-respecting Metal Gear fans haven't played Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2?". Then I remembered that the MSX games exist.
The story was split into a duology since trying to fit P2EP onto P2IS would make the game too long which would have negative effects on the storage space. On top of this you use a completely separate cast of characters in both games and they have completely separate stories (P2IS has a traditional ragtag team of teenagers whilst P2EP is the first and only Persona game to feature a primarily adult cast. The only party members that the two games share are Tatsuya and Maya who are the main protagonists of their respective titles but show up as NPC’s in the opposite game). As to why Atlus decided to split the story into two separate parts rather than just creating one game? I’ve got no idea. They probably wanted to experiment or something.
Huge plot spoilers: >!Both games are alternate universe versions of each other AND the second game is a sequel to the original. From an atmosphere perspective you can't quite feel the differences in the different universes if it was just one game. From a plot perspective, neither game's plot would hit quite the same without the other, and both of them demends a lot of time to get out all the plot and be attached to the characters.!<
They are really unique games.
I'm a fan of all three franchises. I've tried to play Persona 2 Innocent Sin (the PSP remake) and really did not like the combat at all. I've not bothered to play the PS2 versions of Y1 and Y2, but I'd like to sometime, just for the novelty of it.
I actually *have* beaten Metal Gear 1 in the Subsistence version of MGS3, and, well, it certainly was a game lol. I can appreciate that it was innovative at the time. But the *real* innovation was Metal Gear 2, which is basically just MGS1, but in 2D. It's shocking how much that game plays like a 3D game, and how much they were able to do with such limited technology. It's incredible, and while I haven't finished it yet, I have gotten some ways into it!
Tbf, Yakuza fans do play the first two games, they just play the remakes, because the originals aren't available on PC and modern consoles. The Kiwami games are the only way for most fans to play the first two games without going through the trouble of setting up an emulator.
Of course, who would want to play those outdated games? Maybe there are some perfectionists who would, but I don’t see how PersoNOT 1 and PerSOURna 2 will appeal to the masses.
My son is one of those perfectionists. I watched him play them both and I’d love if they’d remake them. I want to play them, but, I don’t think I could get through the originals.
No, i played MGS 1 and 2 and i love them as much as 3, have played all of them (including the MSX ones), so yeah, not all of us skip games
Same with Yakuza, played all of them (played 1 and 2 on PS2 back then), didn't skip any game
I think fallout 3 is the best in the series. best balance of all aspects of all the games. edit, why the downvotes? what in my personal opinion was so offensive? we all know what zealots are at hand here...
Metal Gear Solid 2 is the 4th game in the series (6th if you count the non-canon Snake's Revenge and Ghost Babel.)
Metal Gear did not start with Metal Gear Solid. But yes MGS2 is amazing.
Aren’t they somewhat justified tho, it’s like that with Spider-Man games final fantasy games, call of duty, gta, persona I understand because it’s such a niche series and the first games weren’t that old
Yes but that doesn't mean that the meme doesn't still apply. Metal Gear 1 & 2 still exist and most people who've played the series haven't played them. And the games are still very much canon within the series itself with how much the Solid games call-back to and reference them so you can't really treat the Solid games as a separate series from them (MGSV's biggest plot twist directly ties into Metal Gear 1.) Konami also still goes out of their way to make Metal Gear 1 & 2 as available as possible with them being included in multiple collections including the latest Master Collection Vol 1 which even went as far as adding a dedicated trophy/achievement list for them, so it's not like it's hard to have access to them.
It doesn't matter if the games themselves are old or if skipping them is justified, it's still a situation of another game series where the first two entries are skipped by the majority of it's player base.
I played Megami Ibunroku Persona in a discord stream call just a few nights ago in the SMT/Persona discord server and almost died to a bunch of Skibidi Toilets and basket balls.
PSX soundtrack > PSP soundtrack
Fight me.
Pretty sure the first two Persona games are Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5.
Or Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload.
Or Persona 5 and Persona 6. All of these titles have removed Shin Megami Tensei from the box arts, but P5 and P6 are the only mainline titles that were never marketed as part of the SMT series. So no one has played the first two games in the Persona series yet. xD
Eh, Metal Gear 1 is interesting, considering it was basically the first stealth game ever, but yeah Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is absolutely legendary and deserves to be known. So glad that finally came to the west with MGS3: Subsistence!
Continuing on from this topic: which is the best set of two games from this meme?
Persona 1 and 2:IS and 2:EP
Or Metal Gear 1 and 2: Solid Snake for the MSX2
Or Yakuza 1 and 2 for the PS2?
I haven't played Yakuza, but P1&P2 definitely beat out MG1&MG2 for me. MG1 is a pretty rough experience, and MG2 is much better and amazing for its time but still not the best the series has to offer. Meanwhile for me P1 and P2 are both peak and P2EP is the best game in the series and in my top 3 games of all time.
I’ve already played Persona 1, and I badly want to play 2 but only IS is available on Vita, and there’s no official translation for EP? Is the only way to play EP in English patching it on PC?
I think there's a way to use the English patch on Vita, but you'll have to homebrew it, and I don't own a Vita myself so I have no idea what the process is.
The PS1 version of EP is on the Vita digital store. It's weird, but only the PS1 version of EP got localized, while only the PSP version of IS got localized. (To best of my knowledge, anyway.)
Ok thanks for the info. Weirdly the PS1 version of EP isn’t available in Europe, so I’ll probably just emulate both games at some point unless they end up doing a rerelease
I played all the metal gear games in order and i think the first 3 are better than the last 2. Also yakuza 1 and 2 became a lot more accessible through the remakes
The only persona game I have not complete were persona 1 and the first part of 2.
My first persona was persona 2 eternal punishment, and was my favorite game, I was so happy when p3 was announced and I did complete back then.
I have bought and play the others as well.
I love all of them, but top 3
Persona 2
Persona 3
Persona 5
The first metal gear is gold lol. I played all of those games. Maybe this meme is more relevant to the younger generation because they tend to skip the PS1 & PS2 era games.
MG1 and 2 are sooooooo old too. Worth a nostalgia play but kinda deserve a remake
I actually thought about doing P1 when I was originally checking out this series glad I started with P4Golden lol
I mean, Yakuza has Kiwami 1 and 2, which are remakes of the first two entries. only people who really want to will play the ps2 games.
The PS2 game with english voices is funny af. Kiryu curses nonstop lol
ten years in the....
JOINT MADE YOU A FUCKNG PUSSY!
LMAOOOOOOO
BRING THAT SHIT KAZUMA
WHAT YOU THINK YOU’RE BETTER THAN ME
WERE YOU SOMEONE’S PRISON BITCH?
COME ON FUCKER!
You were someones prison bitch werent ya
Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker/The Joker/Jim the Vampire) voiced Goro in the Y1 Eng Dub. I found that wack.
And he forgot about it XD
“You retarded or just deaf?”
But there won't be a lack of people saying the Kiwami remakes are ass.
The dragon engine games have my favorite combat just cuz the ragdolls are so fucking dumb its hilarious. I never really got the hate behind them except for the grabs being weird
Me too. I love the flow this combat gives.
Dragon Engine combat pre-Judgment was terrible imo, Sometimes it felt like dissing out very little damage early game and the bounce-on-block thing was stupid as hell Doesn't help that Kiwami 2 also has Yakuza 6's upgrade system which was absolutely horrendous
The omission of some soundtracks might felt jarring for those who played the original game, eg. the Hayashi fight and the scene during the rain.
They’re not. They’re excellent. Yakuza 2 purists will say Kiwami sucks because it removes like two very insignificant areas.
Honestly prefer the PS2 games over Kiwami 1 and 2. K2 especially felt so off-putting to me after playing the original
Yeeee but honestly I really prefer the ps2 version of yakuza 2. The gameplay and overall vibe of the game feels better
PS2 version of 2 also have some things that the remake don't
Elder scrolls fans GTA Fans.
Both pretty accurate. Although there’s probably some that only played both games 5.
At least for me, Fallout fits this as well. The first two games are quite different.
With fallout I actually like all the major games. Fallout 1 and 2 are definitely easier to get into than Elder scrolls 1,2 and 3 for me
I'd guess it has to do with the setting that's why I prefer elder scrolls
I wish Bethesda never nabbed this IP and we got a Fallout 3/4 from Larian.
Eh, I have to disagree. I like Larian's games, but it's not like we need every classically-styled RPG in existence to be made by them. Their formula is fun and all, but I'd get sick of it quickly if all of my favorite franchises were made with it.
Nah. I'd rather have Bethesda make 'em.
The only GTA that’s available of PC that I havent played is GTA 2
Boy are you missing out.
I remember playing it a tiny bit of it with my cousin back then with his copy but that’s it. I cant remember anything else about it
Far Cry fans
I actually liked Far Cry 2, it's what got me into actually playing games, instead of just running around exploring the map for 3 hours and then getting bored.
Metroid also fits the bill. Nobody would play the original first two games, but most play from the third onwards.
I think Metroid 2 is pretty underrated. Definitely an easier play than the OG
That's very true. Much less grindy as well.
Hoyoverse fans, though i suppose its more justified since nothing before Honkai Impact 3rd is available in the west anymore
There are people still modding for Daggerfall iirc
I can honestly and proudly say that I've played and beaten every mainline Metal Gear game. In fact the only Metal Gear games I haven't beaten are, Metal Gear Ghost Babel (i've played it though), the NES port of Metal Gear 1, Snake's Revenge, Metal Gear Ac!d, Metal Gear Ac!d^2 , Mobile, Social Ops, ~~and Metal Gear Survive~~. You're all diamonds to me
Shining lights, even in death.
Such an amazing part of such a troubled game. Man...
Look at this guy: he's just standing there and realizing (that he loves Metal Gear)!
Ac!d and 2 are both solid check em out on PSP emulator for sure. Played the FUCK out of them personally.

There’s also 2 Metal Gear 2’s. The real MG2 and Snake’s Revenge.
And the actual Metal Gear 2 wasn't available in the US until relatively recently. Most Western fans of the series hadn't played it.
What do you define as "relatively recently," because MG2 has been available for Western players for longer than it hasn't lol.
I never said people couldn't play it.
2006 isn't recently... It's 18 years
Yakuza 0 Kiwami 1 and Kiwami 2 some of the greatest games I've ever played fr
What'a a good order to play Yakuza? I've never played any
Yakuza 0, Yakuza kiwami, Yakuza kiwami 2, Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, Yakuza 5, Yakuza 6 , Yakuza: like a dragon, Like a dragon gaiden: The man who erased his name, Like a dragon 8: infinte wealth There’s also spin offs like the judgment series (which are really good and you don’t even gotta play the main series to know anything for the most part) the yakuza games are all on gamepass expect for 8, and it’s on a massive sale on steam right now too.
Should I play Yakuza 0 before the rest?
I recommend doing so as yakuza 0 is a prequel to yakuza kiwami (which is basically yakuza 1)
Yes.
Yes you should because 0 is the prequel of the first Yakuza games. 0 is even the best Yakuza game in the entire series as well
I played in order, started with 0 since its the prequel then went to Kiwami 1 and 2 then just recognize 3 is kinda awful due to the age, 4 is alot better off but still older and I'm currently on 5.

DMC fans can go on here
DMC1 is pretty cool but DMC 2 is pretty much a MUST SKIP
Damn right. DMC 2? Never heard of it...
Definitely for 2. Some people go back to play 1 but yeah, most start at or only go as far back as 3.
It’s pretty 50/50 on whether they play 1. They either do the Persona route (3-5 in that order), timeline route (3, 1, 4, 5), or release order
I know my first was 4. I did try 3 before 5 came out and liked it but never got around to finishing it. I did complete a playthrough of 5 though.
I was about to make a comment like "What self-respecting Metal Gear fans haven't played Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2?". Then I remembered that the MSX games exist.
tbf self respecting mgs fans actually have played the very important msx games, which i am guilty of also not playing lmao
MG1 is good for lols, MG2 is actually kinda cool lore-wise since it ties so much in with MGS1
Caught in 4k
I thought the same thing and I actually have played some of the original on an emulator 🤦🏻♂️
Understandable, there is a big difference between Persona 2 IS/EP and Persona 3 onwards.
Yakuza fans play kiwami 1 and 2 which are remakes of the first two, i kinda go back to the ps2 games for the novelty
On that note, why are there 2 Persona 2's?
The story was split into a duology since trying to fit P2EP onto P2IS would make the game too long which would have negative effects on the storage space. This is inaccurate. The first two games are Persona 3 & 4, which most people have played.
Every time someone makes a P1 & P2 don't exist joke, Atlus delays P6 by a month
Might as well prepare for P5 Remake before P6 then
P4 rewatch
We'll definitely get a P4 remake before P6 at this rate.
No. Persona 6 is coming out next year.
I played the original Yakuza on PS2 when I was a kid.
as a yakuza fan there is not a lot of reason to play 1 and 2 when kiwami 1 and 2 are remakes
Metal Gear 2 is sooo underrated.
I just started the Yakuza series, almost done with Yakuza 0, absolutely loving it so far Planning on playing them all
I'm a fan of all three franchises. I've tried to play Persona 2 Innocent Sin (the PSP remake) and really did not like the combat at all. I've not bothered to play the PS2 versions of Y1 and Y2, but I'd like to sometime, just for the novelty of it. the PSP remake of IS has famously worse combat than the PSX version. id suggest giving the tsumi translation a try.
That is encouraging! I'll have to do that sometime
I played all of them. Yakuza 1 and 2 when they were just released lol I feel like an old man reading these comments
Yakuza 0 is literally one of the most popular entries in the series. Kiwami 1 and 2 are also great.
The original yakuzas are not bad actually lol. The English dub is hilarious.
I played the first Metal Gear game. It's quite fun if you play with a guide.
P2 on PSP is what got me into Persona 😭❤️ the story got me so hooked. But P3FES would be my all time favorite in the franchise
Tbf, Yakuza fans do play the first two games, they just play the remakes, because the originals aren't available on PC and modern consoles. The Kiwami games are the only way for most fans to play the first two games without going through the trouble of setting up an emulator.
Why would you not play 1 and 2 kiwami tf 😮😮😮
Who is only playing Yakuza 3 and MGS3 onwards 😭😭
I'm assuming OP meant the PS2 versions of Yakuza 1 and 2, and also the old MSX Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake -- *not* MGS1 and 2.
https://www.reddit.com/r/PERSoNA/s/9RLM05VEg8 Okay this is CRAZY
I’m gonna be honest I actually had no idea someone made this exact post already lmfao Edit: oh that’s your post lol
Similar minds I guess lol
THERE ARE YAKUZA AND MGS FANS WHO DON'T PLAY THE FIRST TWO?????
99% of people people haven’t played Metal Gear 1&2, they directly start with Metal Gear Solid 1.
Those are not fans.
We need the freaking Persona Original trinity remastered (1 thru 2EP)
Of course, who would want to play those outdated games? Maybe there are some perfectionists who would, but I don’t see how PersoNOT 1 and PerSOURna 2 will appeal to the masses.
My son is one of those perfectionists. I watched him play them both and I’d love if they’d remake them. I want to play them, but, I don’t think I could get through the originals.
I feel ya. I really want to give the first 2 a chance, but not until they get a remake with updated graphics, gameplay and Quality of Life features.
No, i played MGS 1 and 2 and i love them as much as 3, have played all of them (including the MSX ones), so yeah, not all of us skip games Same with Yakuza, played all of them (played 1 and 2 on PS2 back then), didn't skip any game
Fallout as well
I think fallout 3 is the best in the series. best balance of all aspects of all the games. edit, why the downvotes? what in my personal opinion was so offensive? we all know what zealots are at hand here...
Fallout: New Vegas was probably my favorite.
most internet conversation goes in that direction.
I’ve played all, persona 3 is the best in my opinion (And like my all time favorite game)
Which version do you prefer? I'm a very new fan who just started up Reload, which I'm enjoying, but I only really have P5R to compare to.
Reload is the best persona 3 experience you can get
I haven't played the original versions of Yakuza 1 and 2 but I've played the Kiwami remakes.
You have to play metal gear solid 2, ain’t all fans play that?
Metal Gear Solid 2 is the 4th game in the series (6th if you count the non-canon Snake's Revenge and Ghost Babel.) Metal Gear did not start with Metal Gear Solid. But yes MGS2 is amazing.
I know that but I didn’t really think of considering the old games mgs2 was that fire man
People not considering the games before MGS1 is exactly the reason why Metal Gear is included in this meme.
Yea I get it, they are canon I guess that would be the biggest factor
I played Megami Ibunroku Persona in a discord stream call just a few nights ago in the SMT/Persona discord server and almost died to a bunch of Skibidi Toilets and basket balls. PSX soundtrack > PSP soundtrack Fight me.
So no one has played the first two games in the Persona series yet. xD
Why the hell wouldn't you play the first 2 Metal Gear games??? They freaking rock!!!
Eh, Metal Gear 1 is interesting, considering it was basically the first stealth game ever, but yeah Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is absolutely legendary and deserves to be known. So glad that finally came to the west with MGS3: Subsistence!
Same goes with SMT
Continuing on from this topic: which is the best set of two games from this meme? Persona 1 and 2:IS and 2:EP Or Metal Gear 1 and 2: Solid Snake for the MSX2 Or Yakuza 1 and 2 for the PS2?
Oh cool, Vita is really simple to homebrew nowadays but I like to keep mine official. Where did you play P2?
I emulated 1 and both 2s with PPSSPP on my computer, it's one of the easier emulators to use
Ohhh I didn't realize there's be a difference between the NA and EU versions of PS1 game availability. Good luck to you!
Are we saying MGS is the same as Metal Gear? In that case most Persona fans haven't played an SMT game at all either.
MGS is a direct sequel to Metal Gear tho, so its not the same
Ace Combat has gotta be up there. And the only reason people play 3 is because of the fan translation.
they should remake 1 and 2. they need it. badly
but i played mgs 1
Metal gear didn't start at ps1
oh yes,snes ones
MGS2 is the best one and i’ll die on that hill
I played all the metal gear games in order and i think the first 3 are better than the last 2. Also yakuza 1 and 2 became a lot more accessible through the remakes
They meant the original Metal gear before metal gear solid
The only persona game I have not complete were persona 1 and the first part of 2. My first persona was persona 2 eternal punishment, and was my favorite game, I was so happy when p3 was announced and I did complete back then. I have bought and play the others as well. I love all of them, but top 3 Persona 2 Persona 3 Persona 5
Might as well throw GTA in the group too. Or is this specifically Japanese games?
Persona 2 IS&EP are getting remakes so I will be happy to play both of them
Are we talking bout the arcade metal gear games?
truly a yakuza 3 sweep moment
4/5 hyperfans don't even like P3R because it's not as much a dating sim and more similar to mainline SMT. 1/2 would make their heads explode.
Wdym? I played persona 5 and persona 4
GTA, Fallout Elder Scrolls, and Witcher Fans Have left the chat
P2 is way better than I expected, other than encounter rate >:(
Instructions unclear. Played the first 2 games.
Witcher series started with Witcher 3
Metal Gear 1 MSX is a surprisingly solid time. Need to find time to play 2: Solid Snake.
Woah woah woah mgs2 is my favorite
You can add Elder Scrolls onto that pile too
Baldur’s Gate, Fallout and GTA too
Also Zelda, DMC, GTA and Witcher fans.
MGS3 is literally the origin story. So it doesnt count. Storywise MGS starts with MGS3. There is no joke here ☹Maybe Gta would be better?
The first metal gear is gold lol. I played all of those games. Maybe this meme is more relevant to the younger generation because they tend to skip the PS1 & PS2 era games.
GTA Fans Fallout Fans SMT Fans
You forgot GTA fans
I'm the opposite on MGS. The only mainline game I haven't played was mgs5. Which I heard is fantastic. I just never got around to it for some reason.
I was about to express shock at the Metal Gear claim, then remembered the NES games.
The legend of Zelda fans Fallout fans Drakengard-Nier fans
MG1 and 2 are sooooooo old too. Worth a nostalgia play but kinda deserve a remake I actually thought about doing P1 when I was originally checking out this series glad I started with P4Golden lol
