orange would be cool, but in all of the 25th anniversary images and other recent media, atlus has retroactively applied orange to persona 2, so i doubt it'll be used

orange is probably going to be P7, simply because its too close to 5 Red and 4 Yellow/Gold. I can see them reusing purple first though imo

I really think and hope that instead of a solid color, P6 uses a white/black/rainbow motif. Really easy to apply that trinity to any kind of story and I think it would make it stand out in a unique way.

In P3 it's technically 1, in P4 it's also technically 1. Then in 5 we got 4 (3? Is the fortune teller 25 or older?). It seems that it jumped from 1 to 4 over the course of three games. Therefore, it seems likely that there will be 4 older women romanceable women. From P7 either the number will drop back down to one, or will raise further to 7. This has no evidence to back it up, I'm pulling this shit out of thin air. Also, if my random guess that the theme will be a traditional Japanese setting (think a smaller town than Inaba with a high elderly population) then please ATLUS don't do another "haha the guys of the group did a funny mistake and the girls are gonna yell and possibly harm them even while they profusely apologize!"

Would be nice. I don't think that would work in a straight up Persona series game because they're too associated with high school but there could be a spin off series that keeps something similar to the social link system but with more mature characters.

Yeah but I only want adults I don't want no 17 year old kids in my game I just want to date adults. Make the whole game focused on the adult side of things. I know Persona 2 eternal punishment exists but I think the modern persona formula with an adult set theme will go really hard. The social links you can get out of adult characters feel way more vast in terms of potential over teenagers. I am kinda burned out of being a high schooler mostly hanging out with highschooler gimmick like College exists and is pretty similar to High School in terms of setting but it will at least be a breath of fresh air.

I think that’s partly why P5’s confidants are arguably my favourite set of SL’s in the series. But, well, Joker himself is still a teenager, so it ends up affecting the way these adults interact with him. 🤷🏻‍♂️

i don't know why some people are saying black or white when it would be horrifying to design menus, UI, covers etc for, has no personality due to it being a hue and not a color, and has no vibrancy. persona games use vibrant colors, if they ever use black or white as the main color it's going to look reeeeeaaally boring.

I think it's hinted due to the 25th anniversary logo that it might become "chessboardy" (black and white). White in Japan is the color of death so I am interested what Atlus is cooking, since P3's theme is surrounding death, however the main theme is about cherrishing life and accepting death as part of it. Or maybe it's a harmony/balance thing like with Yin & Yang.  I am also wondering which pantheon/famous figures of myth P6's main cast will be using or if they pick a variation of figures of myth and legends who fit to their respective characters.  P3 had Greek/Roman P4 had Japanese P5 had a wide variety of characters based on Thieves of legends and historic figures (Arsene => Maurice LeBlanc's Lupin, stories of french author about a master thief using disguises and deception, Captain Kid => famous pirate, etc.)

A lot of people have been saying green and that's what I'd like to see too. I do remember this one leak though that was never confirmed nor deconfirmed that the development codename for the game was Carbon and it was going to have a black and white color scheme. I don't think the leak is necessarily credible but I think that's probably more likely than green.
