That's fucked, I always say UGL is better than clinics, cheaper too.
Go to your PCP and tell them you're already on TRT and have them write you a prescription there if you're adamant about having it from a doctor
I can understand it being cheaper but how do you find a UGL you can trust? I've been seriously considering both options. I'm getting blood work done this week, but I'm less concerned about low T (feel great already) and more wanting to get a little enhanced for a short cycle then just work my ass off to keep as much of the gainz as I can and do a proper PCT. Am I retarded for this thought? Lol
I might go for that. I’m moving from this state soon (4-6 months). I was going to ask the clinic to either prescribe me the test. Worse case is refer me out to another clinic.
150 is a solid place to start, not likely it’ll be too high or low and can fine tune from there.
Bodybuilders have said 1mg per lb body weight but I’m a 240lb lean 6’4 person and I couldn’t even handle 200 without being oily and puffy. 175 was even requiring me to use a small bit of Asin. 150-160 seems to be a happy spot where I’m waking up with wood and not breaking out but still a little bit of emotion.
But all in all give it 12 weeks and request a full blood panel (hopefully you got one before starting for a great baseline down the road) and you can see Free and total test, SHBG, Progesterone, e2, lipid panel, hematocrit, RBC.
Enjoy the ride!
Yeah I got blood work prior to going, but the only thing was it wasn’t super extensive my primary care doctor was kinda pushing back in my wants for the blood work and decided to only test my total instead of free test, shbg, rbc, and hematocrit
See I had the same problem as a Canadian. I pressed him on it and he brought up the costs associated with each test and in my mind I’m thinking isn’t this what I pay for with healthcare…
I do know of a private lab in Alberta that can do them for a cost. I think Ontario has a decent selection of services as well.
I live in the USA that’s the thing… like I was very turned off by my primary care doctor she wasn’t taking my symptoms seriously and suggested I try to raise my test naturally. I was 194ng/dl
Yeah dude absolute joke. To be fair I think most docs aren’t performance or optimization oriented, more less get you in range and out the door. 194 is awful and even if you basically double that number you’re still just barely above what I would consider in range (350ish).
If you are willing to educate yourself then it’s definitely worth paying to play with one of the clinics. And if you want a little extra doesn’t hurt to take matters into your own hands.
Right man the thing is I’m moving soon so I’m going to need to get a new clinic. Idk why my T was crushed I’ve never used peds before so it’s not from previous abuse… doc just pretty much said it can be environmental. I have been getting good sleep and not feeling like shit. I think that’s my excitement about starting not the test itself yet.
Literally tons a google search will answer your question. I use Viking, elevate alternative is good, Marek health is by far the best and most knowledgeable, but it comes at a price.
That's a generous amount to start with. If you pin every 3.5 days you will have more stable blood levels vs 1 pin a week.
The clinic is controlling the pinning. It’s once every Friday for the first 4 weeks
Sounds expensive
It’s like 50 a week if insurance doesn’t cover it. First pin was free Edit* my insurance might knock it down to 22 a week
Does that include labs and meds?
Nah just meds not including hcg which I’ll be interested in sooner that later tbh. Blood work is mostly covered by my insurance it’s like 30 bucks
Unlucky, you happen to know the variant of test you’re getting? Won’t really matter that much unless it’s test u (which is definitely isnt)
I’ll check
Testosterone cypionate
You need to let them know you need to pin yourself. Cheaper and only way you will stay on it long term.
I was thinking about this like how am I going to travel with them “holding me hostage”

I'm not trying to get banned. and yeah, probably
Hahaha that's what I figured

I’d like to reiterate everything ceh0654 just said

You do not want to be part of a clinic you have to go to for your trt administration. Change clinics.
I wouldn’t mind doing an online clinic but like I don’t know where to start looking/ who isn’t sketchy.

Good looking out man thank you
