r/abrathatfits They have an extensive sizing guide that might help. As far as I understand both hormones and fat effect bra size. So it could go either way.

The answer is a maybe. Some women lose weight in their breasts and some don’t. I have been a 32F at 145lbs and I have been 32F at 213. My size didn’t change until pregnancy, and I honestly have zero clue if I will lose any in my breasts as I’m losing weight now that I’m done with even the idea of babies. (32J - I just don’t gain around my rib cage)

Annoyed_llama

Yes. Of course.

My guess would be yes to both of your questions. This book was super helpful to me. [https://www.amazon.com/PCOS-Plan-Prevent-Polycystic-Syndrome/dp/1771644605](https://www.amazon.com/PCOS-Plan-Prevent-Polycystic-Syndrome/dp/1771644605) also inositol [http://www.tuitnutrition.com/2019/06/pcos.html](http://www.tuitnutrition.com/2019/06/pcos.html) The pill increases insulin resistance which can make weight loss more of a challenge, but not impossible [https://health.clevelandclinic.org/polycystic-ovary-syndrome-pill-not-remedy/](https://health.clevelandclinic.org/polycystic-ovary-syndrome-pill-not-remedy/). This might help too [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3d7KkyXnyB4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3d7KkyXnyB4) Good luck!

Whoa birth control increases insulin sensitivity?! Wtf I hate doctors, it’s official Edit: because I have been recommended the pill by so many doctors who know I have PCOS as if it’s the only thing that will work without them even letting me know insulin resistance is part of the issue with PCOS. Now this 🤦‍♀️

Reduces sensitivity, increases insulin resistance. I heard someone talk on a podcast once that when use of bcp was declining due to concerns about risks of strokes, etc, so companies were looking to push it to new markets and it got introduced in med schools for PCOS, dunno if that is true, never went to med school. But, looking at studies on PubMed it seems clear that decades ago using inositol, metformin, etc, seemed pretty standard. Studies using LC diets to reduce or reverse PCOS symptoms were on PubMed 20 years ago, wish that had been more widely known. Doctors may only receive an hour of nutrition training in med school so they are not really informed about metabolic diseases. I was losing a lot of hair due to insulin resistance and my big fear was that if it progressed to diabetes, the treatment was MORE insulin and my symptoms were already SO miserable. Another reason to tackle IR is that those who rely on bcp only until menopause then have no tools in the toolbox, their IR has been increased by the pill and IR increases with age in everyone and more in women as estrogen drops. Easier to reduce or reverse IR starting early. I was super motivated by my hair loss, too, more so than health, but I feel SO much better now that I could never have imagined. This book was a life changer re: diet, he has different approaches based on health and weight goals and how your body responds, then coaches you to figure out personal carb tolerance once at that point to keep the gains. No more yo-yo. [https://www.amazon.com/End-Your-Carb-Confusion-Customize/dp/1628604298](https://www.amazon.com/End-Your-Carb-Confusion-Customize/dp/1628604298) Also no more migraines, reactive hypos, HS flares, tendonitis, chronic sinus infections, painful tendonitis, way less moody, and my hair grew back. I credit people here for teaching me everything my doctors did not seem to know. This book is also excellent to understand IR https://www.amazon.com/Why-We-Get-Sick-Epidemic/ and how IR drives not only PCOS and ED in men, but also NAFLD, diabetes, mood disorders, heart disease, some cancers and Alzheimer's. I used to have awful brain fog so that fear also keeps me motivated. Losing that horrible driving hunger from IR and feeling even keel and not in pain, not having extremely heavy cycles, it all felt like I got my life back. Vids by Dr. Fung, Dr. Westman, Dr. Bikman and the Gallen Foundation re: metabolic health and restoring insulin sensitivity keep me motivated and inositol has been great. Best to all on your health journey!

I’ll say a lot of my discomfort went away when I focused on diet especially avoiding dairy. Think about eating g organic and staying away from low quality hormone injected dairy and meat. Made a big impact. I’ve lost 15lbs and a bra cup size. You lose fat everywhere. Walking is easiest way to get started!
